Ulasan Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton

My fiancé and I decided to do something special for our parents on their honeymoon. So, we booked a surprise 4-day stay for them at the Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao Hotel. I had reached out to the hotel staff beforehand to ensure that their stay would be perfect. I'm happy to report that the hotel staff exceeded our expectations. Despite a few hiccups along the way, the staff quickly resolved any issues that arose. My father even said that he felt like a “King” during their stay. I'm thrilled that my parents felt so special on their honeymoon. The decoration for the paid honeymoon package, which included flowers, balloons, a bottle of wine, and a red velvet cake, was absolutely beautiful. I want to express my gratitude to Rayu and Daisy, the morning chefs, Tico, the bartender supervisor, and Erison, the bartender. Astrid, my mom forwarded me these names as they played a crucial role in ensuring my parents had a memorable stay. Tico, in particular, always goes above and beyond.

In Italy, with a NAS inspection, it would have already closed! Highly discouraged!

The truth is that the Rif Mangrove Beach Resort gave me a disappointing reception on May 24th when I arrived. They didn't have my reservation confirmed by Trip on record, but the personal attention was downright frustrating. Far from condoning the guest for Trip's error, they treated us with an arrogance worthy of indecorous people. We received very offensive treatment since if there had been an error in the reservation on the part of Trip, the hotel should have proceeded to contain and solve the problem, none of this happened. This caused a lot of stress and an unforgettable negative experience.

Probably used to be a beautiful hotel but now faded glory. Many things broken, not well maintained and falling apart. Fire alarm system that goes off twice in the middle of the night for no reason. No fire brigade that comes but you have to believe them that there is nothing wrong with 3 small children who are terrified to go to sleep afterwards. Asked for a room next to each other (well in advance) but it is all just complicated. Would not come back there soon. Its best time and that for that money.

Our experience at the Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao by Hilton Hotel was disappointing in many ways. Despite the expectation generated by the association with the Hilton brand, the service and customer care left much to be desired. From the beginning, we encountered frustrating situations. We arrived 10 minutes late for a restaurant reservation due to a mishap with our two young daughters, and despite the restaurant being empty, we were unsympathetic to the indifferent treatment we received during our stay. The buffet service was inconsistent, with food running out before closing time and staff inattentive to guest needs. On several occasions, our room was not cleaned properly, with towels missing and even a dirty diaper left in the trash can for days. The lack of organization was also evident. We booked an excursion at the hotel that was cancelled without warning or explanation, resulting in great disappointment for our daughters. As for meals, ice was in short supply, drinks were often served warm, and on several occasions the main restaurant ran out of glasses during dinner, leading to long waits and inconveniences among diners. The pool bar ran out of piña coladas mid-afternoon, and one day they did not have this drink available at all. Room cleaning service was inconsistent, and on one occasion our room was not serviced despite notification of our departure. The only positive aspects of our stay were the quality of the drinks and food in the restaurants, as well as the excellent water park which offers fun for all ages. Acknowledgements: Special thanks to the receptionist (whose name I cannot remember) for her inattention and disinterest in resolving our problems. Conclusion: The Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao by Hilton Hotel did not meet our expectations. While the water park and quality of food and drink were positives, poor service, lack of organization and indifference to guests marred our experience.

We really had a wonderful vacation, we will return!!
