Clean quiet and relaxing...Big comfortable bed... Location is close to home I love it. Great breakfast only thing is they need to serve turkey or beef sausage and or bacon for the people who does not eat pork.

Das Positive: es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze direkt um das ganze Gebäude. Der Empfang war freundlich. Das Frühstück ist typisch Amerikanisch. Das Negative: Ich hoffe die Bilder können nur annähernd zum Ausdruck bringen warum man hier auf keinen Fall Übernachten sollte! Für alle Tierliebhaber, das Zimmer teilt ihr euch auf jeden Fall mit euren Lieblingen, egal ob ihr welche mitbringt oder nicht. Hab nach ca. 6 Spinnen und drei anderen Tierchen aufgehört zu zählen, und ich will gar nicht wissen wie es an Stellen aussieht die man nicht so auf dem Schirm hat. Zum Zimmer selbst: Die Matratzen sind weich bis durchgelegen. Es gibt zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Und stellt ja nichts auf den Boden! Geputzt wird nur Oberflächlich. Alles was aus Metall ist hat Flugrost, oder ist Fleckig. Der Fön, der eigentlich an der Wand verschraubt ist, ist schon leicht aus der Verankerung gerissen. As IHG members we stay regularly Holiday Inns. Alas, while we like the points, we've found that not all sites are equal. THIS one is, by far, the very best we've found and is always where we stay when visiting family. As the title claims, it's ALWAYS all of those things--clean, friendly, and a great value. The breakfast area is kept well-stocked with a good variety of options, and is overseen by attentive managers (thank you, Kelly!). Our bathroom was spotless with a step-in shower that drained well and provided pump style amenities. There's a mini-fridge in each room and a Wegman's grocery store across the parking lot where you can either buy to load up your fridge, or sit and grab a quick meal. We've always wondered--how is this particular HI so much better in quality and price than others? Could it be that they host the major TV network staff who stay during Little League World Series? Perhaps. Or maybe it's just Williamsport, down to earth, attentive customer service. The one and only thing that is a challenge is limited parking, especially if you land at night on a weekend. That's when the crowds are big at the adjacent James Restaurant which shares the lot. Several guests complained while we stood in the lobby. There's overflow parking but it's not advertised or posted anywhere for guests to see (which would be helpful), We've learned to park offsite, then retrieve and repark our car after the restaurant closes.

I stayed here one night on my way to upstate New York. The hotel was a solid choice. For a domestic property they had good Platinum recognition. Breakfast was decent for a free meal but mostly what you'd expect cereal, oatmeal, fruit and some prepackaged hot options. Not awesome but ok for this level of service. There is a small amount of parking in front of the hotel for check-in but overnight parking is across the street above the bus station. We had a two bedroom suite which was a great for three of us travelling together (this was what we paid for it was not an upgrade). Overall I would hesitate to stay here again.

Great reception, great breakfast, great room, loved it. Didn't have time for the indoor pool or gym. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. A place you could stay for awhile and really enjoy. ,........... ..........................!

This is definitely an older hotel in need of updating and, although the important areas were clean, needs a thorough cleaning in less obvious spaces. For example, the bathroom vanity and toilet were clean, but the built-in hair dryer was dusty. The kitchen area was clean, but the sconces on the wall were covered in dust. The bed was clean and comfy, but the carpet was stained. The dishwasher had a ”cleaned” sticker on it, but upon opening, half the dishes needed to be hand washed because there was residue. Almost all the dishes in the room were in the dishwasher. There were dirt smudges on the doors and curtains. The room was very very damp the entire time (5 days and it rained twice). Despite being on the ground floor near the parking lot, it was very quiet. However, one night we came back to our room to fire trucks - someone had spilled gasoline in the hallway (!?) and they were trying to air out the area. The next night the fire alarm went off (someone's cooking). The front desk had some of the worst service I've ever experienced in a hotel. Every time you needed something (which was often - only one serving of coffee for a 5 night stay, one roll of toilet paper, needed to exchange old towels for clean ones) the staff acted as if you were bothering them. When I asked for pool towels, the woman behind the desk said ”only if you come up to the closet with me and get them.” She had to come back down (closet on third floor) and past the office to get to the pool, so why did I need to come with her? Pool was dirty, so we only spent about 5 minutes in it anyway. Despite all this, the hotel is very conveniently located to chain restaurants and stores and a very short drive to Little League facilities and downtown. Having a kitchenette was very convenient. The room itself as well as the bathroom and closet were big.
