Hotel Atlantic

Lovely hotel, superb location, superb food and welcoming patient staff: I say patient as my French is not that good and they let me try without feeling I was stupid. The restaurant was packed with locals the Tuesday after new year and in the middle of a heavy storm 70mph wind and rain; that’s how good it is. Just book don’t take my word for it. The beach and town are nice too

Room 303 - A gorgeous large room overlooking the sea from the third floor. Nicely decorated in natural colours and blues. Fantastic views over the sea from the balcony with two chairs and a table - although we were there during a storm so there was no chance to sit on the balcony! The bathroom was small but with a good shower over the bath and a separate WC opposite the bathroom. Big comfy bed, sofa bed, table and two chairs, fridge, kettle, two tiny mugs. Lots of shelves and a hanging rail. Not many charging points; only on one side of the bed. Wi-Fi was fast but had to log on every time we came back to the room. Home made biscuits on arrival. The location is wonderful; opposite the sea and a short walk into the town. Parking (free) behind the hotel in a small but secure area. Breakfast buffet with eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt etc. expensive at €22 each.

I’ve been lucky enough to stay in some of the most wonderful hotels in the world but Hotel Atlantic is the friendliest, warmest, most welcoming place I have ever stayed in. Fabulous staff who cannot do enough for you. A true hidden gem that delivers a very special experience. Thank you Atlantic!

Very comfortable small hotel right in the seafront with seaview from every room (18 only) . Light and spacious rooms nicely decorated and impeccably clean. Warm and friendly service. 2 great restaurants on the premises. And a private secure carpark, an invaluable bonus in this popular resort.

This hotel is situated right on the promenade with views over the sea. The staff are so friendly and helpful...and the food is wonderful, both in the restaurants and for room service. There is always a little sweet treat waiting for you to have with a cup of tea or coffee in your room on arrival, and everything is organised to make your stay a real pleasure.

My friend and I chose Hotel L'Atlantic for our final night of a short break spent in Normandy and are very pleased we did. From start to finish the experience was seamless, helpful and very professional. The hotel has two parking areas right beside the entrance and we had no problem at all in getting the car in. However we visited outside of the busy time of year so I'm guessing this could be more problematic at other times but then again so it would be anywhere. The rooms were lovely and as all have a sea facing view, you can't go wrong with whichever you choose. We had two rooms - Comfort and Terrace both of which were beautiful with exceptional touches within them. We both slept well in the very comfortable beds and the bathrooms were very well laid out. We ate in the outstanding hotel restaurant La Liégeoise that evening which afforded us some of the most exquisite fish and seafood dishes we had ever eaten. Breakfast was in the absolutely delightful L'Aloze restaurant and the food offer was perfect. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel L'Atlantic and would highly recommend it.
