Hotel berhampiran Reho Spa, Windhoek

PROS We stayed for 1 night in one of the”luxury” tented options. Please take note that we now have stayed in a variety of room options at Arrebusch Lodge This lodge is our preferred place to stay in Windhoek after a long journey. However, with regards to the” luxury tented accommodation- it has an almost 16 sq m bathroom (brick) with a large shower and ample space. Clean and comfortable beds and bedding in the tent area ( same size as the bathroom) An aircon that worked properly. Outside a veranda with a braai with ample light options. CONS We missed the coffee station and a small table in the tent. If you are looking for value for money consider Block C/B and the square which also includes a great breakfast at the price. About the tented accommodation, we unfortunately had a ”horrible” experience. Our tent was on the far end of the premises close to the main road and fence. We arrived there while the October Fest was in full swing and it felt as if the speakers and boom boxes were just across the road. To their credit(management) we found a letter from management in the tent apologizing (warning us ?) about the sound pollution. The traffic on the road ( and police vehicle sirens} added to this ”sound pollution”. I didn't sleep at all and at one point 04:00 felt like checking out. For the very first time, we even felt unsafe. Yes to be fair we understand management can not be blamed for the noise but I am sure that on a ”normal” day or weekend, the road noise will also affect the quality of your stay. I will never stay in the ”luxury” tented accommodation again. There are far better value-for-money options available at Arrebusch. BACK TO THE TENTS

The hotel is centrally located. Rooms and spacious and clean with most of them having a balcony. Breakfast is usually buffet and quite good. There's an old-fashioned lift and the staff are friendly enough. If you are in the city for business, this is an ideal place to be in

Overall we had three nights at Safari Court. Our first night in Windhoek and the last two nights before departing from the country. For the last two nights we stayed in the suite which was very nice. For the first night we stayed in a very comfortable room as well, but suite in the end was much a highlight. It's a well maintained hotel, although the building is not new. On both stays, our rooms were kept super clean and sleeping quality was great. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was rich with many delicious choices, especially the hot food. We tried the restaurant and the bar of the hotel on our first night and left with very good impressions. Prices for dinner are very reasonable as well as those of the drinks at the bar. As August is considered ”winter” and it was chilly, we didn't spend any time at the swimming pool though the area is lovely and if it was hot we would definitely spend a few hours there! You need at least a night at Windhoek for your holidays so this hotel is a very good option! Tip: If you need to wash your car after going around Namibia's gravel roads, there is a very good and professional Car Wash place - ”Eros Airport Carwash” very close to the hotel! Good prices and dedicated staff.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have absolutely loved it. Best features are: The hotel is located on top of a hill permitting great views of the hills, the city below and the fantastic sunset. Attention to detail given by the management is commendable; rooms and premises are meticulously clean and in good working condition. Staff are polite, friendly and they aim to please. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous. Dinner, sundowner snacks & drinks menus are comprehensive. We stayed two nights here and the very nice manager gave us a late checkout because our flight was in the evening. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.
