호텔에서 3분거리 월마트에 컵라면 봉지라면 냉동만두를 팔고 있어서 호텔에 있는 전자레인지와 뜨거운 물을 이용해서 간단하게 식사도 가능하고 주변에 피자 치킨 햄버거 등 식당도 있습니다. 무엇보다 고속도로 올리기도 좋고 주변에 백화점 아울렛도 가까이 있어서 위치적으로 매우 만족하였습니다.

nice stay. checked in later than ideal. It was almost full. when I looked at available rooms only 5 left. picked a room on an older floor , meaning, I think they in the middle of renovating the older rooms. it was fine. beds comfortable. place was clean. service good. staff friendly. would stay here again. recommend you try to stay on the side opposite the road. road noise loud. if they can upgrade their windows would be better. breakfast standard Hampton inn breakfast. swimming pool!

I have stayed here a few times for business. It is walking distance to the river where there is a nice trail to walk around. Check in was a breeze & the woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The gym is your average hotel gym with limited equipment but gets the job done. This time around I had a room that faced the street, and laughed at the ear plugs on the night stand.. but I could definitely see needing them as the rooms that face the street can be loud. Previously I always had rooms that looked over the tunnel entrance and never had any sound issues. There is now a Starbucks attached to this hotel - which is a nice touch. Parking is awkward but I believe they are doing construction. Be careful going up or down the ramp as the red and green lights are not accurate for oncoming traffic. This is the place I like to stay in Windsor - there are many food options nearby.

Rewriting as there appears to be confusion from TripAdvisor team. This review is about our experience with Towneplace suites and the Towneplace moving us to Sheraton. (Same hotel brand - Marriott), upon literal arrival. Since writing this, and having it posted, the Operations Manager, Samantha, of Towneplace Suites, graciously reached out to make what I feel, is a grand gesture and show sincere appreciation for our concerns. So thank you! This doesn’t excuse our upset for if “we” know better we do better! So, I will begin with this, we did not end up staying. Although I felt compelled to write this for our disappointment upon arrival. Leads me to say, in writing this, expressing our concerns, when “we” know better; “we” do better! Please don’t wait until I’m at your front door. We booked this hotel months in advance to attend a Nexus interview the following day, over another hotel - the Sheraton Windsor! Literally! Coincidentally, the weather that particular week had temperatures with heat warnings including air quality warnings. We drove 3+ hours after finishing work, to literally arrive to Towneplace Suites hotel being told their AC is not working and anywhere in the hotel! They knowing/ having this intel days before our arrival, as staff of the hotel advised us! We were neither called nor notified pre-arrival for us to make alternative arrangements!! This shows lack of respect for themselves, their customers including a Platinum Elite Member such as I! We were told if we stayed, the window does open albeit a few inches! It was not ideal. They said, the alternative is, “they send us to the Sheraton Windsor (their other branded property), at same rate.” (Many reasons for not booking with “other hotel” originally. Rooms are extremely small. And, TripAdvisor reviews for which I do rely on, were less than I would consider. We have never had any luck with “other hotel name” albeit now part of Marriott brand. Hence, the reason I was skeptical.) So after attempts to make immediate alternative arrangements, I came up dry, and acquiesced to their moving us to the Sheraton Windsor. I did express my reasons for not wanting to stay there. FYI -and ORIGINALLY we got no offerings of any kind. No discounts, no free parking, no price adjustments, no offer of Marriott points. NOTHING! This is a huge inconvenience and now the restaurant we wanted to eat at, becomes unavailable option. I’ll explain! FYI - I will submit a separate review of the “other hotel”, and FYI, in advance - we would not stay there again! So, are we disappointed and put out we, as Platinum Elite or really any guest, be given Marriott points to express “sincere” gratitude? I chose the Towneplace Suites for the size of the rooms, and based on TripAdvisor reviews! Stayed for two nights over March Break and was very impressed with the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful for both a phone call and enquiries during our stay. We loved our two bedroom suite with the amazing view of the Detroit River where you can see the riverside war memorials, ships and boats passing by, and Detroit across the water. Our suite was modern, spacious, and immaculate. Nice little kitchen for preparing snacks and reheating leftovers from our restaurant meals. We didn't request cleaning during our stay but we did contact them because we thought no pillows or blankets had been provided for the sofa bed, but found them later in a drawer. Pool is bigger than it looks with warm water, but mind that sticky door to get in. No breakfast is provided but there's a small market with Starbucks coffee, and Tim Hortons is less than a ten minute walk behind the the Aquatic Centre/Adventure Bay. We took the advice of previous reviews and checked in with the hotel first to get the parking pass and room keys you need to access the parking garage in the connected building. We didn't keep any belongings in the car and had no problems with the in and out privileges. A great stay!

Huge and balance breakfast, nice cozy room, accommodating Renee and nice staff.

This location was really good for us. It is right on the river and we had a great view. The parking was very good. Breakfast was terrible but that was not why I was there. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room was modern and clean. The hotel was full with collage kids and I didn't know until morning. Nice and quite.

I would suggest moving the toilet paper holder from the lower side of my leg and rising it higher so when I have to use the restroom as a bigger woman, it's not jamming in my leg or I have to hurt my back trying to ”finish” using the restroom.
