The worst experience of my life. I am one of the Elite member with Wyndham. Last year had incident with one Days Inn hotel insects I complaint but no reply since then I moved to Hilton group. The reason I booked this hotel as I wanted to use my left over points before it expires. I booked 3 nights and it was confirmed booking which was also verified by Wyndham customer support and front office but when I arrived from hotel after day exhaustion from Toronto I was told due to Sales booking I don't have any room and they can't do anything I just have to wait. I arrived 11 pm and I took Days of to go for Hunting. Had to wake early but the Frint office had no idea what to do as it was not in their control. None of the management was there to support this matter. It was not knly me other 4-5 guests were also had this issue. After 10-15 min wait when I asked that they have to update me as I have to leave for hunt in 5 hrs I need a place to rest. I was told by the night staff that if I keep arguing they will call security and kick me out. That's what I deserve as being a Elite member customer. After 1 hr of struggle calling Wyndham head offices, a staff member offered me that he will get me a hotel in middle of downtown but they don't have car Park. I was not comfortable to accept then they given me finally a room after 1 hr which as you can see in pic with water leakage, paint issues. It's a Beautiful hotel no doubt but Trust me worst Management. They will not take as a guest instead a number give your room to other on favoritism or higher rates. Pls be aware if you don't want to mess your holidays. IT messed my hard earned holidays.

It was great to stay where we felt that the establishment values its guests! All staff are very congenital. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. Nice to have a good cold fridge and a microwave in the room. The airy reception area is adjacent to a lovely are to sit or work. The included breakfast is excellent and the seating area very spacious. There are iaundry, a pool and steam room, though we did not use this time. Excellent parking. Special thank you to Lito who made us feel like family.

Wonderful food, remarkable staff, from front desk to housekeeping to management. Was there for an event, and the entire team made you feel appreciated. You could also see how they appreciated each other as well. Will definitely return there!

Outside hotel was littered with trash. People milling around in and around lobby. Hotel was an evacuation centre for a northern reserve due to forest fire. Our room was scheduled on third floor and with a comment on the evacuees being on that floor we requested to be moved to another floor which the desk attendant gladly granted. The elevator was littered with trash. A huge footprint on the elevator door. Security was on each floor. Our floor was quiet. Our room was nicely prepared. Around 11 pm the police arrived to break up an altercation in the front entrance of the hotel. Paramedics and the fire truck arrived to assist. Male was stabbed by a female and both were cuffed and removed by police. People were out front until well passed 2:30am. Lots of sirens all night long. It was a tiring night. They comped us with free breakfast but did not go as previous reviews said breakfast was not worth the effort. We will not be returning.

This was an overnight, weekend leisure stay for a nearby event. Despite having never stayed here before, the location was very convenient and the website photos were encouraging. Booking was simple using the website and check in was pleasant. On entering the room, the temperature was noticeably hot. Uncomfortably hot. We assessed this was because of direct sunlight coming through the window so we closed the shade somewhat and beeped the temperature down on the thermostat. Due to our schedule, and not thinking it would be an issue, we left immediately and didn't advise the desk. On return later that evening, the room was still incredibly hot (~25-30C) despite the thermostat being set to 19C. We had another timeline to make but we advised the desk on leaving. We were told the room temperature was ”centrally controlled” and that it wasn't possible to change it. We were offered a change of room but this was impossible as we had to leave immediately. We were offered a fan which we accepted. On return to the room the 3rd time later that night, the temperature was ridiculously high and nearly unbearable; the vent was blowing hot. The fan was of little use as the window would not open so it simply circulated stale air. We also noticed the blinds would not fully close so early morning sunlight brought an abrupt end to an already terrible night's sleep. On check out, the person at the desk made no inquiry into the quality of our stay and we simply left the keys on the desk. I then had to call the hotel later for a copy of the receipt as one wasn't emailed. I stay in hotels 60+ nights/year and this was one of the worst for quality, value and customer service. I will not be returning.

As the title would suggest, you need be aware that your car may be broken into when staying at this hotel. I always check out the hotels I stay at on TripAdvisor before booking and I did see that this was a problem, but thought never in a million years would we be the target of such a thing. Not the case. Before leaving to start our day I noticed a note slipped under our door that there was an issue with our car and to visit the front desk. It didn't even occur to me that it would be this, I thought it was because we were parked in the red area, outside the hotels green area. The manager was called when I got to the front desk and he informed me that our car was broken into. I will say, they handled the situation very well. The front desk clerk, the manager that I spoke to, the security guard that helped to tape up the window and the clean up crew that were there with garbage cans and an industrial sized shopvac all handled the situation very well. As it turns out...from what we could see there were about 6 or so other cars that were broken into. After the shock sunk in and anger and frustration surfaced, I went back to the manager to see if there was some sort of compensation that could be offered. There was, which I appreciate. If this happens to you, don't be afraid to ask. Needless to say, no matter how nice the room was or how great the lounge and lounge staff were, I'll never stay here again. I will look for a hotel with a private parking garage or at least a more secure parking situation or find an airbnb.

I quite enjoyed the room—particularly the floors, as the dingy carpet so typical in these chain hotels had been removed. This gave the room a much cleaner, modern, and appealing vibe. Lots of space for office work with plenty of plug ins. From my 26th floor room, the view was great. Bed is comfy. I do wish that the hotel would provide a plain kettle for boiling water. I am a tea drinker not coffee, and boiling water in those little ‘coffee makers’ is very awkward, not to speak of the lingering coffee aftertaste. There was a fridge but no microwave. No safe. Unfortunately the restaurant which I only tried once was TRULY mediocre. For wine lovers, don’t bother—they only had 1-2 selections of horrible wine. Go with beer — much safer. My main issue is that the location of the hotel has become quite troubling, with many First Nations individuals in the area, many clearly suffering from substance abuse. Often they were congregated around the doors, and there seemed to be very little in the way of security. As a solo female traveller, I felt unsafe. Even during the day, there were two fights that broke out nearby during my four day stay. Very sad and unfortunate but I would not elect to stay here again until this situation improves.

The sound of air condition was quite loud but compare to the sound of the shower, it was relatively not that bad. The water flow pressure makes the sound over 5 mins before it became normal.

Hotel is difficult to get to with construction and the parking is not convenient. The area is a high crime location and it can be very uncomfortable around the area. Hotel was packed with people. We were informed many were staying because they were displaced, or coming from out of country. Which is completely fine, and only an issue for the sheer volume of people and families living long term in the building and in the small reception area. There was only 2 elevators working and one was broken for a while, there were long lines to access the elevator. Staff were obviously exhausted and mostly indifferent. There was security but the area and hotel did not feel secure. It was a very loud, cramped, hectic one night stay for us.

CCam TruongIt was such a seamless experience for a short-term feeling home like stay. Val is such a gentle lady and really care for you as a special family member. You can find a home-made small piece of chocolate on your bed, enjoy the warmth of a cozy outdoor hot tub. See the photo.
Feel like home is what they are trying hard every day to make you that footprint in every details that you will see in this rental property. I named it a value-for-every-penny experience that was hardly to hard from anywhere in the world, but a place to feel like home managed by 2 generous & warm-hearted women.
I don’t want to write too much because probably I could not book them next time. LOL

JJess CollinsGood service, clean rooms, as expected. The 24 hour coffee machine is nice. Hot tub and pool area were clean and a nice space to hang out after a long day of driving. Cost was good for the night; ended up being stuck in town for another day due to a blizzard and the price jumped significantly online for our second night - spoke to the front desk and they were kind enough to offer us a 25% discount. Not a fancy place, but we always like to stay here when traveling through with our dogs.

PPengguna TetamuOn the whole my experience was very good. I was told I would have a certain room but upon arrival another identical room was provided. When I made the reservation I asked for an early check in, as I have a physical disability, and was told they would do their best to accomodate me. It did take longer than expected even after I arrived an hour later than planned but it was still ”early”. Noah is a Star at the front desk and was super helpful and professional while delivering a genuine and personable demeanor. Later I received a call from another representative at the front desk asking how the room was, which is a nice touch and I arranged for a ”Wake-Up Call” for the next morning. The ”Wake-Up Call” was not delivered though. The noise of the operating elevators was noticeable. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The toilet was very low to the ground;one of the lowest I've ever seen but the shower and the finishes in the Bathroom were very good. I would definitely stay there again. Details are so important and when they are not performed well it lets the entire Team down. Quality service at any price- point is worth the effort just as is a Quality pay-scale. Reputation is Everything.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is very clean and safe. Location is good if you in town for a hockey game or concert at the Canada Life Centre. Also close to the Forks, 10 minute walk. The nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Floor to ceiling window and very high ceilings in the room. The only thing I didn’t like was the French doors to the bathroom because there is a gap of at least an inch so I felt lacked privacy while in there. Downtown has what you’d expect of a typical downtown area in a major city. One day seen a lot of homeless and the next day none. Streets are very clean and to get in the hotel you will need a room key. The social bar on site is very good atmosphere drinks and food. I wouldn’t recommend walking anywhere alone at night downtown. There’s lots of nearby pubs and market and lots of restaurants.

Perkhidmatan yang mengalu-alukan dan mesra, bilik yang luas dan bersih, cadar sutera di atas katil king, dan kemudahan yang sangat baik di dalam bilik. Walaupun pandemik, kami dapat menggunakan kumpulan - proses pendaftaran yang cekap dan adil memberi kami masa 1 jam/hari (mungkin lebih). Sarapan kontinental tidak disertakan, tetapi lokasinya sangat baik dan kami boleh berjalan di seberang jalan dengan mudah untuk sushi & teh buih, piza, stik dan banyak lagi! Juga Kedai Ubat Pembeli dan Kedai Arak betul-betul di seberang jalan. Dan, jika anda ingin bersenam, hotel ini adalah berdekatan dengan Taman & Zoo Assiniboine yang indah!

Wwanderingb2016We needed to make an emergency trip into Winnipeg with our dogs and needed a pet friendly hotel. The Comfort Inn South was the perfect fit. The location is excellent, being only seconds from the perimeter highway. Our room was on the main floor with patio doors that led directly outside to a perfect spot to walk the dogs. Check in was a breeze and Gerald the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a very VERY comfortable queen sized bed. So comfy, that I actually took a picture of the tag to see if I could buy one for my own home. They have a continental/hot breakfast that was nice and the coffee was also very good. Comfort Inn's have come a long way from what I can remember. I will definitely be staying at the Comfort Inn in the future.

BBirdie13The only reason cleanliness is rated a 3 is because our room had a smell to it (not bad, it could just be the cleaning products), other than that it was clean. It’s located on the outskirts of winnipeg which is lovely for driving out of town. The service was awesome, everyone from workers to people staying was friendly, it is a very welcome and warm environment. We ended up with a top floor room and was able to move onto the ‘motel’ style rooms, which was very appreciated. The breakfast that comes with the hotel really exceeded our expectations, REAL eggs, the crispiest best hash browns, and the toast was bacon was good too. They had an interesting cinnamon bun french toast that i’d definitely try next time. They have a pantry/ little convenience store in the lobby, and I’d say the prices are reasonable, definitely would expect them to be more. On the downside the beds are on the stiffer side, but the pillows are of good quality. this wouldn’t be my first choice to come back to in winnipeg but for the price and good meal included, it’s top #5.

MManjinder toorVery clean and comfortable room with all mod cons - more spacious than most in this central location in a capital city and the price was very reasonable for all on offer. Excellent wi-fi, nice toiletries, great choice at breakfast. The staff were very helpful, organising our taxi and allowing us to stay in the room after check out time so we could freshen up before we left for the airport.
The only issue we had about the stay was the noise from the street. The hotel is in an area near some fast food restaurants and bars. The first night of the stay we were awoken by someone blasting out music in the very early hours of the morning. The following morning the bin men woke us at 5am. Nothing the hotel can do about this but if you are considering this hotel and won't be out partying till the early hours yourself maybe ask for a room on a high floor facing away from the street.

PPengguna TetamuChose this because my usual Delta was fully booked. Location is close to airport and downtown (although I was warned by locals that it is not safe to take a walk around). Hotel itself is classic Residence Inn. Spacious rooms with all amenities. Reception staff provided welcome chocolates and water bottles every time I asked. Some of the places needed more cleanliness & upkeep as the place was rundown except the lobby area. Overall, a decent two night stay.
