The hotel is located on the outskirts of Amsterdam. It is 35 minutes ride via tram 17 from the central station, but you might have to wait it for about 10 minutes, and there is a 15 minutes walk from tram stop to hotel, so you are looking for about 1 hour to get from hotel to city center. It is a residential area, and there is nothing interesting nearby though you can eat at a very decent Sahan restaurant. On the other hand we saw rabbits and geese near the hotel :-) The room and bathroom were really large, there were beds, a chair, and armchair, a desk, a small round table, a dresser, a closet. The breakfast cost 14.50 euro. and it was excellent. There were hot items (scrambled eggs, fried bacon, kidney beans), cheese, sausages, fruits, pastries, different type of bread, juices, etc. The room and bathroom were clean but the cleaning team cold do better (I accidently dropped a cotton ball on the shower floor and found it on the next day on the same place). Unfortunately there was no tea/coffee in the room. You can buy tea at the reception but it would cost 2 euro. There was no refrigerator in the room. The staff is nice and helping customers providing maps etc. The hotel located about 15-20 minutes from the airport which is also convenient for visiting Keukenhof gardens.

It had all the basic amenities needed. It’s a simple hotel to sleep and travel easily via metro. It has a 24/7 pizza machine at reception so don’t worry about getting hungry! The only thing I really did not like was the high pillows so if you’ve got a sensitive neck for sleep then I don’t recommend.

When your hotel is located on the sports boulevard of Haarlem, you don't really have a choice but to use a sports theme for the interior. It doesn't stop with just what's inside of the hotel. Peek out of the window in the lounge and be treated to a stunning view of the neighboring ice-skating rink. What better way to start your day than with a breakfast, offered daily at the ibis Styles Haarlem City. All rooms are stylish, comfortable and equipped with a TV, private bathroom.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Haarlem, a good 35-minute walk to the central square. There is very little around it in terms of shops or cafes or restaurants. So calling it ”Haarlem City” is a bit of a stretch! It is a 12-minute walk (through a nice residential area) to Bloemendaal train station, which makes it quite easy to get to Amsterdam. Haarlem's main train station is about a 25-minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and good size. But (and this is a big but!) the hotel was built right next to a big sports centre and if your room faces north it will block your window as it is literally in front of it. This is a really poor design choice, it makes affected rooms feel claustrophobic. This is something the hotel should make clear at the time of booking. Parking in front of the hotel costs 7.5 Euros per night. Given its non-central location, you would expect parking to be free. So mixed feelings overall. Nice and spacious rooms, but the issues I mentioned above detract from the overall experience and value for money.

I would give this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. The negative parts of the experience was the poor selection of the breakfast especially for the price, and the bar closed an hour early despite the hotel information stating it is open until 1am. The positives however, were that it was a good price for the location, great link to the city, very friendly staff, clean and the room was very comfortable. I would stay again.

the services at the reception is very good n the rooms are clean, the location is 5-10 min walk to the bus n metro station. it’s convenient to take transportation everywhere but it’s not in the central of amsterdam. u can buy toothbrushes at the machines only

CityHub has a fantastic location, great concept and the shared spaces are excellent and clean. We stayed 2 nights and, although the room was very unique, we felt that a longer stay might have made the room feel quite claustrophobic. The bed is more than big enough for two people, and has useful plugs on each side of the bed. However, the rest of the room was only big enough for one person to get dressed/ready at a time. For our length of stay, this wasn’t too big of a problem and we knew this going in! The shared showers and toilets are excellent, we never had to queue and they were kept incredibly clean. The hostel is a 5 min walk to the nearest tram station, and only 15 minutes by tram to the central train station and most major attractions. We got a 48 hour pass for all public transit for €15 which I would recommend. We found the hostel to be in a very walkable location, with great food nearby! We never struggled to get anywhere on time or by public transit. A highlight was the CityHost system, all of the hosts were responsive with fantastic recommendations throughout the day and really enhanced our trip. We would definitely recommend this for a shorter trip, if booking for a longer trip just be aware of the size of the room!

The hotel was fine but for early flights leaving from the airport, the breakfast isn’t available until 7am. I made the error of booking the room along with breakfast for two which we couldn’t use. The staff presented us a breakfast box with mostly bread and water and only a serving for one instead of two. I asked the staff if the breakfast could be returned and deducted from the payment but they would not comply. The usual buffet breakfast might have been nice and worth the money but the “breakfast box” for 20euros was not.

wij zijn nu 2x geweest met onze hond. Het hotel is prima en de hondenkamers luxe. Maar vorig jaar werden we bij het inchecken zeer hartelijk ontvangen en onze hond was ook zeer welkom, zij kreeg zelfs een leuk pakketje met lekkers van farmfood, erg leuk. Dit jaar kregen we een koude douche, er werd naar de hond gekeken of ze een wild dier was en er werd gezegd: o er is ook een hond bij, die mag niet door het hotel maar moet de achterdeur uit, tevens mag zij niet mee bij het ontbijt( wat ik best wel snap) en mag niet alleen in de kamer blijven, hierop reageerde ik, hoe doen we dat dan met ontbijt, zeg het maar,want of ze moet mee of op de kamer zijn, nou, reageerde de receptioniste, dan gaat u maar op de gang eten, en hier heeft u het hondenregelement( wat wij vorig jaar niet kregen, en waar niets instond dat ze niet op de kamer mocht tijdens het eten) Vervolgens vroegen we naar het pakketje van farmfood maar dat was pas bij 3 overnachtingen( vorig jaar hadden we ook 2 overnachtingen. Erg jammer en voor dit verder prima hotel een gemiste kans, volgend jaar gaan wij naar een hotel waar ons hondje echt welkom is.
