"This guesthouse is by far the most welcoming place I've stayed during my travels. When I first arrived in Xuegu, the owners came out from the guesthouse to greet me. After a long and tiring journey, they even brought me dumplings, frozen pears, and frozen persimmons to eat – I was practically moved to tears! And those dumplings were exceptionally delicious!!! Throughout the rest of my trip, the owner helped me book tickets, whether it was for transportation or for going up Bear Ridge. After we got to Bear Ridge, he even helped take photos with a drone. On Christmas night, there was a special fireworks display, which was truly heartwarming. We also got to try the '潑水成冰' (splashing water into ice) activity. When I lost something, the owner's wife even helped me get it back, which was so touching. I'll definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family!"

"This hotel is super easy to find, right off the main street. The huge courtyard is perfect for parking and also for playing in the snow with friends – there's so much space for building snowmen and having snowball fights. The room hygiene was impeccable; the sheets and bedding were clean and odor-free. The heated kang bed was warm without being stuffy, and the hot water in the private bathroom was consistently stable. The Northeastern home-style dishes at the restaurant were incredibly authentic; the stewed chicken with mushrooms and the pork with sauerkraut and vermicelli were generous and flavorful. The corn porridge and pickles for breakfast were also delicious. The owner was also incredibly helpful, arranging a shared ride to Snow Town and booking a package for snowmobiling and the traverse over Yangcao Mountain. We didn't have to worry about a thing; our entire Snow Valley trip, from accommodation to activities, was perfectly arranged. The experience was truly top-notch!"

"Staying at the Ice & Snow Promise B&B with my kids was a 10/10 experience! First off, I felt completely at ease with the cleanliness. There wasn't a speck of dust in the room, the bedding was clean and soft, and the bathroom had a fully stocked toilet seat cover and disposable amenities, making it safe and hygienic for the kids. The B&B's heating was excellent, so the kids could play freely in the room without us worrying about them getting cold. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, providing free kids' snow gear and recommending activities suitable for children. In the evening, they even helped the kids make *bing tang hulu* (candied hawthorn skewers), which the kids absolutely loved! The location is super close to the scenic area, within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient when traveling with little ones. Our entire stay was very pleasant; the kids had a great time, and we felt comfortable and relaxed. We'll definitely choose this place again when we bring the family to Snow Valley next time!"

"The host is very good and friendly. They are very welcoming and give all information in detail. The food was amazing. We are vegetarian and she cook very yummy fried rice, mapo tofu, potatoes. In the end I tried to give some tips to one of the staff, but he denied. Best place to stay....."

"Hi, I’m from Malaysia. I visited snow valley with my younger sister and I choose to stay with them. The place is amazing. You get to enjoy their own park and you can just walk to the frozen waterfall. They also have a restaurant which you guys can order vegetarian food as they use other kitchen utensils to cook (Muslim Friendly). The host also arrange for our trip to snow valley and other places. She is very accommodating. Her family member and the staff also very friendly and nice. They provide disposable towel and soap while other place do not provide these things. I would definitely repeat this place and highly recommend to my other fellow malaysia. The only thing that I hope they can provide in the future is having free tea during the cold weather would be amazing!"

"Awesome! The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. They helped us quickly resolve any issues we had. They even arranged all our round-trip transportation. Plus, there were free frozen pears and persimmons to enjoy, and we got to try 'splashing ice into crystals' and 'ice tree and silver flower' activities for free. They even filmed videos and took photos for each of us! The inn is right next to the ski resort, and there are even silly roe deer around. We'll definitely come back!"

"Clean and hygienic, with all sorts of pristine snowscapes—it's so beautiful! The owner is very friendly and can even take you out to play, with dogs to play with! The food is delicious too; I'll definitely come again!"

"Our overall stay was fantastic. The room was warm, and the bedding was exceptionally clean and tidy. The provided toiletries were also quite comprehensive. Staying here for these two days felt more like being at home! There was absolutely no awkward or unfamiliar atmosphere. The landlady was incredibly engaging and treated us like family, with great attention to detail. Their food was delicious and really suited our Southern palates. We finished every single dish, leaving nothing behind. There's genuinely nothing to complain about. Their recreational facilities are also quite extensive. Before coming, I compared many places and even visited other guesthouses in the small mountain village. It's true that their property is larger, and the courtyard scenery is beautiful. Their tractor, in particular, was a lot of fun. This is unique to them; it seems they offer it for guests staying at their place. While we were playing, some guests from other guesthouses also wanted to join in, but they had to pay separately. I'm so glad we stayed here. I asked those two people from another guesthouse, and their room was even more expensive than ours, and apparently, they had nothing to do. Their guesthouse was quite boring. In contrast, staying at Xiao Yun's was much richer in experiences, with entertainment options day and night. In the evening, we could release sky lanterns, play on the tractor, go tubing, and even sing. The atmosphere was excellent. Those who enjoy a lively time can all join in the fun. It's truly highly recommended. This stay definitely deserves five stars!"

"This place has an amazing view for such a low price. There's soft, fresh snow to play in right behind the accommodation, and they even have traditional costumes (like hanfu) you can borrow for photos. Breakfast is included, with congee, eggs, and some side dishes – it even seemed like there was chili paste for Thai guests. To get all this for such a cheap price, including food, is incredible! Truly a million-dollar view for just a few hundred baht. Before we left, the owner gave us two magnets, which was a lovely touch. We wanted to have hotpot, and the owner drove us to a restaurant. The only minor downside is that the accommodation is a little bit of a walk from the village. It's quite dark at night, so walking isn't recommended, but the owner still offered rides. In the morning, however, it's perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way."

"we had a wonderful stay and this is one of the best homestays you can find in snowvalley. The homestay has a decent surrounding if you want to enjoy the snow and also some deers, haven't tried to pet them though. The host is extremely friendly and helpful, the owner Mr Old Tian always ensures our home warm while his wife keeps checking on our needs or plans if they can be of any help.Just tell them where you want to visit and they will arrange the transport for you. Overall I would recommend this homestay to everyone and certainly will book it again in the future."
