First night of a road trip and had pre-booked a room with our Marriott account. Usually have great experiences. Not this time. First clue was only 4 cars in the parking lot upon our 6pm arrival. Second clue was when we got to our 3rd floor room. Very odd layout, couldn’t watch television from the work desk. Moldy grout around tub and soap holder. Room looked like it was still in the 70’s with orange carpet, pale blue bed skirt and large useless wood piece holding a television. That really is a cosmetic issue, but hearing about recent renovations, I would have thought a better upgrade would have occurred. Except for the bathroom, the room was fairly clean. So after a great dinner in the downtown area, we returned to our room and prepared for bed. While my husband was brushing his teeth, someone attempted to enter our room. Door handle rattled, shadows seen at bottom of the door. Kept us awake and on guard all night with deadbolt, manual door jam and other furniture blocking the door. It could have been another traveler at the wrong room door, but with only 7 cars in the parking lot……Why would the hotel put travelers so close to each other? There are other Properties, closer to downtown that appeared to be newer and nicer. Would not stay here again.

RRobyThis hotel is excellent for anyone who needs to take a break from driving for a long time. It is located right next to the the intestate highways and is very convenient. The hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was good considering the price. The service was friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were super fast and easy.

PPengguna TetamuCalled ahead to see if their pool was operating as this is important for our son. Was told it was working but when we got there was then advised it was out of order for 2 weeks. The room is needing upgrades; furniture dirty and rickety. Bathroom floor was soiled and needed mop. Carpeting looked dated and had stains on it. AM breakfast was a joke. The ham was dried up, there were few offerings and there was a server behind a series of tables that block your view of what was available in the refrigerators. Have stayed in many Choice hotels but was disappointed in this one. The beds were comfortable but the cold air leaking around the heating unit in the room, made it challenging to keep the room warm. Location on a hill could have been a factor on this windy day.

I had a very comfortable and clean room. The linens and pillows were clean with that a nice fresh scent. I like how the pillows are all a different density so you can pick the perfect one. Temperature control is important to me for a good nights sleep and the digital control on the unit was easy to use. Just far enough from the highway so you don't hear the road noise. There is a Cracker Barrel across the street for that evening meal or a hearty breakfastif you want more than the hotels continental style breakfast. Being a solo traveler I am looking for a safe secure place to stay and this fits the bill. The staff members are friendly and efficient. As a Choice Rewards Gold Member I also enjoyed the extra perks this hotel does, with special parking close to door and a gift bag on the way in or on your way out in the morning.

PPengguna TetamuWe were traveling from TN to NY and we stopped at this hotel for the night. We pulled up and there was illegal activity going on at all ends. We were approached by someone living there who said ”the windshield to your truck would look great on my truck. Let's see if it fits. There were numerous individuals who were walking around our Uhaul and our personal vehicles just snooping to see what they could see. There were drug deals taking place right out in the middle of the parking lot. There were women offering services in the middle of the parking lot. The place was not well lit and it was very dirty. There were used hyperdermic needles in the parking lot and the manager stated ” I cannot guarantee that your vehicle or Uhaul truck will be safe here for the night.” We left immediately and will not return there ever. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel. They have no business using Hotels.com as a platform to market their hotel.
