I booked this hotel specifically for the concert shuttle service. You need to book the hotel's shuttle bus two days in advance. They have a dedicated chat group for the shuttle where hotel staff are available to answer questions, which I found very helpful. Unfortunately, fate had other plans that day; my train was delayed, so I had to go straight to the stadium. It was only when I hailed a taxi that I realized the distance from Xiamen North Station to the hotel was roughly the same as to the stadium. The hotel isn't particularly close to the arena. To make matters worse, the takeout I'd ordered to be delivered to the hotel went uneaten and had to be thrown away – a real shame. Thankfully, I managed to perfectly rendezvous with the shuttle bus and get my luggage on board; otherwise, I honestly don't know what I would have done. After the concert, for reasons unknown, the shuttle bus didn't arrive on time, and we waited for quite a while. By then, I was exhausted, hungry, and hot, feeling incredibly frustrated. The unclear communication led to a lot of unnecessary walking, and frankly, I was on the verge of losing it! However, I could also see how difficult it was for the staff; they were still tirelessly organizing everyone onto the buses and coordinating matters so late into the night – truly commendable effort. By the time I finally retrieved my luggage, it was already 11:40 PM; it was quite an ordeal! The hotel was apparently preparing some concert-related merchandise or support items, but since I didn't leave from the hotel, I didn't get to see what they offered. Oh, and yes, I did get a commemorative ticket, which made me really happy! I was quite satisfied with the room's cleanliness, and the bedding was very comfortable, especially the pillows. I even asked the front desk for the pillow model and found out it was the same as the ones I have at home. It's odd how I still found the hotel's pillows to be even more comfortable! The room's soundproofing was excellent. The next day, I slept in until I naturally woke up. Breakfast was served until 11 AM, with plenty of choices. The Shacha noodles were particularly delicious, and I left feeling very satisfied. They also have a laundry room, which was incredibly convenient; I could throw my clothes in during the morning and pick them up right after breakfast. The hotel's location is decent, with plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, with ride-hailing apps readily available, getting around is convenient. A taxi ride to Zhongshan Road, for instance, costs around 70 RMB, so it's a bit of a distance, but easily manageable. Outside of concert periods, the price offers excellent value for money!

For guests attending the concert, the staff were incredibly thoughtful, constantly reminding everyone about shuttle bus departure and return times. And after the concert, when we returned, they had sweet soup, congee, fried dough sticks, and other late-night snacks waiting for us. I wasn't very happy with the room I was assigned. As soon as I opened the door, there was an unpleasant odor, and even with the AC on, it still had a musty smell. I figured it would dissipate after a while, so I didn't bother requesting a room change. I just stayed in bed to rest and ordered some food delivery. Halfway through eating my takeout, a fly landed on my burger. While waiting for a staff member to bring insect repellent, it landed on my egg tart, so I ended up only eating half of my meal. The musty smell didn't dissipate even after the AC had been running for ages. Since I had already used the bedding, I felt awkward asking to switch rooms, which led to me not getting a good night's sleep. To anyone reading this review, if you encounter a smell, make sure to request a room change. Don't quietly put up with it like I did and suffer for it. This was a truly unsatisfactory stay. Avoid room 223; the AC leaks.
