Ulasan Xidu International Youth Hostel

Cheapest hotel in the area. About 400m away from Changpingguo. Frontdesk is very accommodating, kind and can speak english so communication is good. However I had encountered a blackout when I stayed. Electricity isnt working as well as bed heater so it was extremely cold during my stay. Not sure if it was really blackout because shower heater is still working and hot water still coming out..

A comfortable stay. I didn't really interact with the other guests or the hostel staff in the common area but it was a really pleasant set up. Easy to get to Changpinggou from here (about a 10 minute walk downhill) & also to Shuangpinggou (lots of small yellow vans that take people for 15 yuan). Enjoyed my stay in the hostel and in the town.

i didn’t expect for this room to be this huge! the owner is so nice too. everything works perfectly but the only thing i didn’t prepare myself for is the stairs because turns out my room is located at the 3rd floor lol thank god i didn’t bring my luggage just a backpack with me but that’s it overall i enjoyed my stay!!

I stayed in the dorms at Xidu Hostel in Siguniang. The location is decent, fairly central, slightly uphill but very close to the stairs leading down to the main street, with shops and restaurants nearby. About a 10–15 minute walk to the taxi junction, and the entrance to Changping Valley. The dorms were basic but had a good atmosphere, and the staff were friendly. The common area is inviting and great for meeting people. The shower could be cleaner (some hair left behind) and there are no towels provided, only small disposable face-towel size ones, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, a friendly and enjoyable place to stay

Below average hostel considering the high standard in China elsewhere. Interior is run down and the staff wasn’t necessary friendly. Even though he spoke English, he answered my questions as short as possible. I felt like I was bothering him, even though there were no other guests around. The price for the dorm is one of the highest I payed in china so I would expect either a nice hostel or friendly people working there.

We stayed in private room with 2 beds. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff helped us sort a shared taxi to our next location. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner but for the price I would recommend. There was also a heater in the room.

I stayed female dormitory. Shared bathroom and room were dirty. A staff could speak English. There was no cafe bar to eat. Good point was there was electric blanket which made me very warm at very cold night.

Great, the location is very convenient for the personn who want to hike in Mount siguniangshan

All with very poor attitudes. Slow or no response when request was sent by Wechat or by making phone calls. Did not change towels when doing room service. Poor cleanliness. No lighting on the staircase from ground level tp level 2. Overall cleanliness is very poor.

Good value hotel, not expensive, located near the entrance of Changpinggou, on a hill, near the hotel there are many restaurants. The room is not very big but has complete facilities, there is a heater, the bed is soft and comfortable.

Good location. I stayed in the dorm room, just having a bed, no amenities. The bathroom was not clean, obviously they did not clean it often.

Simple dorm room. Good location right next to shops and restaurants. Owner was very helpful. Recommend for visiting Siguniangshan

Pretty well hostel for these money. But do not expect something extraordinary, it is just cheap hostel. I lived in shared room. First room was smoking and I asked to change the room for nonsmoking. Staff did it and I really appreciated it because I can’t breathe smoke. Room was nice, mat was perfect. But it was pretty dirty under the beds. There is a table “if you feel the room needed to clean, inform us”, but I am not principal.
