I had a plan to stay on January 19th, but because of the coronavirus, I contacted the hotel to cancel on the 17th.
Even though it was the coronavirus, you can't cancel for free lol You have to pay a 20%fee or more and you have to contact Trip to cancel it yourself.
After that, I informed Trip to cancel on the 17th immediately. Trip said that they would contact me by the 18th,
but since I didn't know which employee promised to cancel for 20%, I was charged the full cancellation fee.
Even though I informed them to cancel before my stay due to health reasons '2 days in advance', the hotel refused to let me cancel my stay,
Moreover They didn't let me change my check-in date, and didn't let me change guest name. It was different from every other hotel in Japan that I've stayed at.
I consider this to be the worst service I've ever encountered.
Even though I thought I wanted to stay at a hotel in Zao after I recovered, I didn't want to stay here.
I will recommend this experience to everyone I know. 最悪
