Mercure Hotel has always been a second to me and my partner. We’d stay here with friends and we even booked them during our wedding day. On our recent stay, it was so nice to be back with my baby and parents. Staff always welcomes us and serve us with smiles.
Another thing I like about this hotel is their continuous commitment to improvement, and live and care to Mother Earth. They started eliminating single-use plastics and now uses sustainable packagings and items.

The location is very good, near shopping mall and lake. The staff is helpful especially the housekeeper named Yee Yee who cleaned during staying.
However, there is a point that I dislike, the fragrance that the hotel used at the lobby, the smell is too strong. I would suggest to use mild fragrance that feel more relaxed and fresh.

My family was in Wyndham to celebrate our son’s first birthday. We asked the staff to help us with the decorations if possible and they did help us with all the decorations as much as they could. Shortly after, the hotel staff ran the door bell and surprised my family with a complimentary cake for our son. After having a busy time at work, it is just right to reward me. And, what is the perfect way of doing this is to treat myself to a staycation at ParkRoyal Hotel. The hotel is 5/5 in cleanliness, budget, location, and, most significantly, THE STAFF. The Staff has made my staycation a relaxing and perfect experience. I couldn't say anything negative because they went beyond my expectations as someone who, most of the time, stays in a hotel. The Staff, namely Theint Theint, Thazin, and Zaw of the Reception, Gi Gi of the Lobby Cafe, Alex and Thet Tun of the Concierge, Le Le Win of the Spice Restaurant, and Nanda of the Housekeeping were superbly amazing people who were willing to assist me. On top of that, I have to give credit to Ms. Khin, the reception manager. She was a rockstar in service. Her assistance, from my emails to the check-in, was very smooth. Thank you so much, guys! You are all fantastic hotel staff. Kudos to you! Of course, I cannot ignore that the breakfast was good, the pool was perfect for taking a plunge, and the fitness center was my favorite. Overall, I will keep returning to this hotel because ParkRoyal is Perfect for a Staycation! Thank you, ParkRoyal!

During my travels across 16 countries and living in two, I have to say that Pan Pacific Yangon stands out as the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Its location is ideal, conveniently connected to a mid-sized shopping mall, and the in-room amenities and facilities are top-notch. Unlike some “lazy” five-star hotels, the gym, spa, and swimming pool are exceptionally well-maintained and managed. The breakfast service was a real highlight – each day offered new and varied dishes, and despite having breakfast there four times, I never got bored.
However, what truly set this experience apart for me was the people. The staff were always smiling, patient, and consistently went out of their way to help me, making the stay all the more enjoyable. I believe this speaks not only to the hotel’s brand culture but also to the warm and optimistic nature of the Myanmar people themselves. Their kindness left a lasting impression on me. To everyone at Pan Pacific Yangon, I sincerely wish you all the best and hope you stay safe during these challenging times. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, where I can say “Mingalaba” once more!

The hotel is situated inward corner from the main street and need to call taxi every time just to get out, which is annoying if you want to go around the nearby area. Inside the hotel building there's one convenient store but the front desk never mentioned that and couldn't find it on the day of arrival. The biggest problem is there are so many noisy and dangerous street dogs nearby the hotel and they are barking at every car going in and out from the hotel, and when you try to walk back to the hotel it is really a big threat as they swarm and try to bite you even in the daytime. Those dogs are seriously damaging the hotel access and make the guests uneasy.

PPengguna TetamuAmazing stay at this hotel. Although I only stayed for a night, I had the best experience ever. 1) I was early, reached at 0930. The hotel offered me early check in at no cost! I was shocked. Other hotels always charged even if the room is available. How generous! 2) From front desk to cashier, to restaurant and door man, everyone was all smiles and speaks good English. Genuine smiles and sincerity made me feel so welcome and at home 3) The restaurant staff was very attentive and he speaks good English too and was checking if I needed a coffee or an egg. It wasn't what he said but how he said it 4) The door man is a senior uncle..He is always greeting me with very warm smile. Last night I got back to the hotel at 8.30pn and now at 7am, he is on duty again! I must give him a tip when I depart. 5) The location is fantastic. Near to Shwedagon pagoda and the National Museum. There is also a yummy BBQ restaurant next door, Mr Cow. The room is decent and worth the price. If you don't need a 5-hotel, looking for budget friendly, don't mind it is a little old yet a great experience, come here. I am a very happy guest

I will keep on coming & thanks for the perfect stay in Yangon . Location is very near by Chinatown & can enjoy a lot of street foods . Steam and sauna also can use at hotel . Thanks for all the staffs for the great hospitality. I will be back again .My favorite spot in Yangon 😍

QQelenIt was the best hotel in Yangon where I stayed. We arrived on 29 at 11am, the room was ready and they gave us the room. Our stay there was shorter than we expect, was not the best period to travel, so next day we had to move, we finally found a flight to go back to our country. Even if I paid for a day more, the staff refound us the amount. The rooms are really better thank the pics on Booking. Big rooms (not so usual to find in Yangon), clean and elegantly furnished. On the rooftop we found the wonderful pool, the perfect place to relax ourselves, and forget a little that we had non flight to go back home. There is also the restaurant, where during the morning you can take ur breakfast, lot of choise between salty and sweet. Here u can take also the lunch or the dinner, good prices and nice food. We want to thank the staff for all course our stay here was great, if we will come back to Yangon we definitely come back to your hotel.

The rooms are huge, high security for the family, spotless clean, high tech light switch, amazing temperature control (even water for shower), very convenient to access to China Town and with fantastic house keeping team. My favourite activity was having a drink & delicious foods and looking the stunning sun set river view from roof top restaurant that is smashing. On the roof top restaurant, Opposite of the river view, I can even see the Shwe Dagon Pagoda (the greatest landmark of Myanmar), WHAT A GOOD LOCATION IS. All the staff are well trained professional in their rows, very polite and willing to provide their relevant services to the guests at anytime even in the 2:00am. My favourite staff are Patrick (F&B Supervisor) Shine Ko Ko (F&B Captain) Zin Ko Khant (F&B Service) Tin Win Aung (Bartender) Thura Maung ( Operation Manager) Than Naing Lin (Bell Boy) Soe Aung (Night Security) Then, I celebrated my 43rd birthday party at the HOTEL BALMI roof top restaurant. All the decorations, live music, foods & drinks managed by restaurant manager Patrick & team. My birthday party was my best party I have ever had. All my family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We strongly recommend to stay at HOTEL BALMI whatever the reason in Yangon, Myanmar.

PPengguna TetamuHotel isn’t very expensive because room rate starts at 55,000 only and rooms are fully equipped with amenities as well as a rooftop bar with 360 view of the city. Reception was friendly and offered to help with bags. But receptionists do get very overwhelmed with the huge amount of guests checking in. I was lucky that there were only three people checking in in front of me so the wait wasn’t that long. Breakfast was good for the price of the hotel even comes with pastry. Wish the hotel was less full during weekends and holidays as rooms are hard to come by then. Maybe the hotel should raise the rates.

PPengguna TetamuLocation is superb. It is located in front of the Kandawgyi Lake. The view is unbeatable. Rooms are big and clean. Room service was provided everyday. They have a rooftop bar and a restaurant in the lobby area. Foods quality was good and prices are fair. Staffs are nice but need more training. No business center, no airport transfer and no fax machine available. But, not a deal breaker though. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Very nice location … I walking distance to the Inya Lake and the Myanmar plaza. Behind the hotel zone also have a lot of coffee shops, pubs and nice restaurants too …
