This is our 3rd visit to Yangshuo and our first time to try this hotel. The staff are amazing. Attentive and customer focused. From before we arrived they were already keeping in touch with us to ensure we could get to them smoothly. On arrival they put a lot of effort into ensuring we had all the help we needed and knew all the local an activities and attractions. Day by day they kept us updated with events. The hotel offers free shuttle between Yangshuo walking streets and their establishment which is very convenient. You must book in advance. There are activities every afternoon engaging art and craft for both kids and adults. Very fun. From 9pm there are free noodles served in the main dining area. Many guests enjoy this and take advantage. Definitely a great addition since you cannot get deliveries being this far away from town. The room we booked was the 2 bedroom cloud residence. An amazing room.This is incredibly big and spacious with a king bed in the main living room area shielded off by a curtain where one of our kids slept. The main bedroom is massive and has the circular bed in the middle. A rollaway double bed was also setup in here for our little one and this worked out fine. There is an outdoor patio with a staircase that goes up to the roof with 360° panoramic views of the area - you cannot beat this view in other hotels nearby. We found the room was very cold at night as the central heating was only blowing cold air. So we turned it off and it was slightly more bearable. I would have given 5 starts if the heating worked better. Apart from this the Julong Town Resort Hotel is amazing. Giving a better service and attention level than many of this big name establishments.

My family had a lot of fun at the hotel. Disadvantages: a) located a bit off the main road, but within 5mins walking distance. b) located at the bottom of Guilin, hence need transport for further attractions (2 hour journey time) c) must go at the correct season to have a better view of the landscape Advantages: a) Rooms offered a good unobstructed view of the mountain area, allowing to catch occasional fire works at night b) Hotel provide FOC transportation services to the nearby town area for meals / attractions. c) Hotel provides FOC daily tea breaks, supper, as well as daily children hands-on activities and photo shoot in local costume. d) Hotel provides a basic map guide for directions to the nearby attractions, including the rental of e-scooters for easy traveling around.

We stayed at this hotel from December 30th to January 2nd. Everything was very clean. The staff helped with everything. They gave advice on what to visit and helped book tickets. My family and I loved it. We will recommend it to our friends.
