Ulasan Yangshuo Shuimo Dongli Hotel

This hotel has five floors, and there's a photo spot on the rooftop – be careful going up and down. The rooms are spacious and bright. There's a restaurant right outside the hotel with good food at a reasonable price. The famous '20 RMB banknote' photo spot is nearby, a long stretch along the river perfect for pictures. You can also catch a boat for the Li River cruise from here. Currently, there's a temporary pontoon bridge for tourists to walk to Xingping Ancient Town, and a permanent bridge is under construction. The road leading to the hotel from the city center is also under construction; it's uneven and turns muddy when it rains. It'll be much better once it's finished. I think the hotel is run by a husband and wife. The proprietress is incredibly kind, hardworking, and polite. The owner, on the other hand, is a bit lazier. Breakfast is a set meal: a bowl of Guilin rice noodles, a cup of soy milk, an egg, a sweet potato, and a sugar tangerine.

Convenient parking downstairs, well-equipped facilities, and a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and tidy, with neatly arranged linens. The environment is great, and the owner even recommended some good local food downstairs. Definitely worth recommending!

This is one of the best guesthouses in Xingping Ancient Town. The owner is very welcoming. It's a 5-story guesthouse with an elevator, and the rooftop offers great views and laundry facilities. It's a 3-5 minute walk to the ancient town and a 5-minute walk to the Dabao River ferry crossing, where you can cross the river to Xiangong Mountain Scenic Area.

It's a guesthouse, but the room was really spacious and clean. The amenities were super complete too – I was surprised they even had an elevator! The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a big plus. Breakfast was delicious and quite authentic, with special rice noodles, sweet potatoes, eggs, and small oranges. It's really close to the '20 Yuan Viewpoint' and Xingping Ancient Town, just a few minutes' walk, which was super convenient.

Great location and spacious rooms. Parking is convenient for those driving. It's just a short walk to the bamboo rafting and the iconic 20 Yuan banknote photo spot. Finding places to eat nearby is also very easy.

The room facilities are brand new, featuring smart lighting controls, smart curtains, and a smart toilet. The balcony overlooks the Iron Bridge, with the ancient town just opposite, making the location incredibly convenient. The hotel is located within the Xingping Ancient Town scenic area. However, Xingping Ancient Town's overall infrastructure isn't quite as developed as Yangshuo's, and the road right outside the hotel still lacks proper municipal development.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the famous scenic spot featured on the 20-yuan banknote. Our room was incredibly spacious, complete with a balcony and even hangers, so we wasted no time in washing and hanging our clothes to dry right after checking in. In the evening, my husband and I also enjoyed a nice quiet drink. The rooftop was very stylishly decorated; every photo we took up there turned out beautifully. Oh, and the breakfast rice noodles were absolutely delicious!

The room offered a great view and had a balcony, plus it was spacious. The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Xingping Pier, near the iconic 20-yuan banknote viewpoint, and the bustling pedestrian food street was also conveniently close by. Service: Breakfast was included. They also offered a complimentary one-way transfer to/from Yangshuo Station, which was a great perk. Hygiene: The cleanliness of the bedding was very disappointing. The throw pillows were visibly dirty and clearly not changed between guests; I hope they are removed. Furthermore, the duvet had large bloodstains that had not been properly cleaned. Overall, the hygiene standards definitely need to be improved.

This guesthouse is truly fantastic – honestly, it's one of the best places I've ever stayed. The room was spotless and incredibly well-maintained. This guesthouse is located in the heart of Shangri-La. The environment is lovely, and it's very quiet at night. It was quite late when we arrived, but the host was incredibly welcoming. He helped us with our luggage, asked where we were from, and advised us not to shower due to concerns about altitude sickness. He even turned on the diffused oxygen supply for our room, ensuring we had a fantastic night's sleep.

I highly recommend booking a room on a higher floor with a balcony. The 5th floor has a lovely relaxation and photography area, perfect for taking great pictures. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating; they even generously let me pick some loquats from their garden. Breakfast included local specialties like Guilin rice noodles, along with soy milk and other options. Overall, my stay was excellent, and I would definitely recommend it to friends.
