Yangshuo Mengyuan Shanju Hotel (Xingping Ancient Town Branch)

We were greeted by the husband owner and his son as soon as we arrived. He provided us with complete touring info via Wechat. Super helpful everything with the how, where and what all in one . Easy to translate in English in the WeChat app. Easy check in to our 180° glass room , the view from the room is breathtaking. The wrap around deck provided us a great area to relax and admire the surrounding hills and mountains. The pleasant birds chirping in the morning and during the day made this a perfect spot to stay. Everything was well equipped . Comfy bed, nice thick towels , cool air-conditioning, washing machine and dryers as well . We hired a scooter from the owner and it was easy to zip around to all places. We loved our stay , on our departure, the owner was so very kind to offer us a bottle of their homemade rice wine to take . That was so very kind of him . I would highly recommend it to others , you definitely will find your little place of heaven in this busy little quiet Xiping town. Thank you for having us. Loved from New Zealand 🥝

Great place to stay. Quiet but walkable distance to shops and restaurants. Great view. The hosts are amazing. Gave me a ton of tips what to do around on WeChat. Highly recommend renting an e-scooter from them and go around out of town (they will provide the map). Takes 30min but you will be amazed with the views and how no tourists go there

I will be brutally honest about this review and I really want to attach everyone's focus. This Hotel was tremendous, but more of all was not the view, it was not the location either, it was the person who manages this hotel. And I will renown this man and his family. I would like to point out that my review is not enhanced by my feelings of that me and my wife made our wedding and honeymoon in Xingpingzhen and in China. Only this hotel had prepared the room for us, and not only that, it came from the person, it felt like he had done it because he liked it. He was very shy to foreigners but he had a very good command of English and willingness to learn. We arrived early, but he was expecting us even without an announcement, and checked us in. He invited us on Wechat, where he had stored hundreds of tips, gathered through his lifehood in the region. If we had a question about anything, he not only answered us, but arrived at our room door for help in literally seconds. The location was good, but the view was better than our expectations and we finished making our wedding not in Xingpingzhen, not in Yangshuo but on the balcony of our room.

Excellent hotel with friendly reception service they even send me nearby locations wich i can visit wich was awsome , the room had a beautiful view of the mountains and nature, the sleep was more than perfect, I can only recommend it.

Hotel boss is generous and let me check in early at 11am. Quiet and clean room woth a great view of the karst. Boss send me lots of travel info through wechat. Besudes the bottled water in the room, there is a water dispenser at the corridor for free refill. Rented a motorbike for the day. Broke the right side mirror due to a little incident. Boss refused my payment for the damage and said he would fix it himself. Really appreciate his kind gesture.
