Ulasan Yi'ou Chaju Hotel

Actually nicely located just at the alley of the happening street, just that the access is a bit tricky. Very narrow car access, might need to walk in. Would be challenging if you bring heavy luggage. The hotel is nicely renovated, and have nice view from rooftop deck.

Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice. Walking distance to famous shopping and eating streets without the noise

The hotel is situated close to West Street so if you want a quiet place it’s not as quiet. And the room we stayed in was on the top floor of B building, there is no elevator so be prepared to walk. But the location was convenient for restaurants and renting a bike. The hotel will provide this service. We also chose the room with a balcony and it was an amazing view, totally worth it! There is a place in A building to do laundry. The staff is helpful.

This is a very nice hotel, clean and new. Shortcomings are that the location is on top of the high place in the small alley and there is no car/ vehicle allowed to go into the hotel. Try to minimise your luggage as you will have to walk a long distance from the station to the hotel. Even we tried to ask the hotel if they can use an electric motorcycle to help to send our luggages out but it wasn't possible. So it was a bit of a hectic to go in and out with big luggages

Hotel situated one step to western street. Comfortable and you can not hear anything from that crowded street. The shower floor leaked a lot to the rest of the bathroom floor.

The room is clean and cozy. The lobby is full with Chinese culture deco where it is a nice place to take photos. The staffs are helpful and give valuable advice on local attractions. Overall, it will be my prior choice if I am visiting YangShuo.

Location: The hotel is located a bit of a distance from the pier, and the uneven roads make the walk challenging. We tried to arrange a pickup since I was traveling with a group of six, including three senior citizens, but our request was denied. Eventually, I reached out via WeChat, and they helped us find the hotel. However, we still had to drag our luggage from the pier, which was not an ideal experience. On a positive note, the daily walk to West Street for food was quite convenient. Hotel: The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very nice. We were fortunate to be in Building A, which has a lift, making it easier for our group. The hotel is just an alley away from the bustling West Street, and we experienced minimal noise at night. However, the shower pressure was inconsistent, and the showerhead often fell off the hook—a minor inconvenience, but one that stood out during our stay. Service: I must rate the service lower than expected. While the hotel itself is appealing, it did not live up to the positive reviews I had read. Our initial request for a pier pickup was declined, and it was only after I contacted them that they explained the roads' inaccessibility for vehicles. I had hoped for more proactive assistance regarding local attractions and e-bike rentals, but I found myself relying on Google or Trip.com for basic information. Instead of personalized recommendations, we were simply advised to take a taxi to the 10 Mile Gallery and explore on our own, which wasn't ideal for our group of six. In hindsight, I was glad I didn’t just use a taxi, as the main tourist spots were not close to one another. Additionally, after checking in, my parents accidentally flooded the sink, and when they sought help from a nearby cleaning staff member, she was quite rude and scolded my father for the incident. While we acknowledged our mistake, this unpleasant exchange left a negative impression upon our arrival. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you stay in Building A (with a lift) and are not overly concerned about service.

Perfectly located - next to West street but totally quiet. Nicely decorated room. Receptionist helped us to get on a shared taxi although none of us spoke the other’s language.

I just stayed 3 nights at Yi’ou Chaju. A quiet hotel in the middle of all the action! I enjoyed my stay there very much. One of the lovely receptionists whom unfortunately I don’t have her name went out of her way to help me when my phone internet failed. She even organised a car to take me to China Telecoms to have them look at the issue. I offered to pay for use of the car but she gently refused. So thank you very much Yi’ou chaju for your wonderful service! See you again soon!

Beautiful hotel with excellent position. The loud and crowded West-Street is only 50 meters distant, but you never hear any noise from there. The room was always clean and tidy with fresh towels every day. No wishes unfulfilled! The big roof terrace offers good chairs and phantastic view of the roofs of Yangshuo and of the surrounding landscape at day and night. It is also possible to dry washed clothes there. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff members. This hotel is highly recommendable!

Beautiful location , near the river. Bathroom vieuw straight at the mountain ( 100 meters) Helpful staff. And a beautifully roof top for excellent vieuws

This hotel is fantastic! The location is right by West Street tucked in an alley way. It's super quiet and you can't hear any of the West Street noise. Highly recommend if you want to be on West Street but away from the noise!

There is nothing too much to say. Cheap but good hotel. No breakfast but plenty of options around.

The accommodation is rather difficult to locate but strategic with many shops and eateries around. It only took a few minutes to reach them. The room is clean and comfortable. No lifts but the helpful staff was generous enough to help carry luggage to upper floor.
