The location is definitely the biggest highlight here. It's incredibly convenient for everything, whether you want to take a boat trip or hike up Laozhai Mountain – you're right there.

Absolutely best!!! For the location 5/5. For views great from rooftop, since new buildings around so a little block but overall is great. Walking distance to everything.. i am so glad that i stayed here!!!

This place is convenient if you're taking a boat, but the single room was really run down. The small size wasn't an issue, but it was incredibly dirty and looked very old. The blanket on the bed also felt grubby, I didn't even want to touch it. Even the air conditioning remote was dirty. There are basically no facilities. No toilet in the room, so you have to go downstairs for the shower and toilet.

Right at the foot of Old Village Mountain, just a few dozen meters from the ancient town's archway, and only a two-minute walk to the pier. The location is excellent, and there's a restaurant on the top floor where you can enjoy wood-fired pizzas.

The room was clean and had a large terrace. The staff were very friendly. I was woken up by motorbikes outside in the middle of the night, and when I called the staff, they immediately helped us switch to a room further inside. Excellent value for money. The restaurant upstairs has a beautiful view of the Li River at sunset, and the wood-fired pizza was delicious.

Super nice place to stay. The lady at the reception who we also think was the owner, was super friendly and professional. She was also speaking in English, which was super nice, as we did not have to use any translation apps like in other hotels. The room was clean and nice, with a balcony. We loved the balcony, as we were sitting during the night and enjoying the sound of nature. The hotel also offers food at the restaurant at the rooftop with a nice view. The location is amazing with people selling things under your balcony, close to the shops and restaurants from one side, whilst also close to the river and all the attractions on the other. Also, this is the exact location where you can go up to Laozhai mountain for the breathtaking view, the hiking route literally starts less than a minute away from the hotel. (P.S. please make sure you understand that the way up the mountain is very steep, with no build steps/stair, we literally climb up rocks - do not go when its dark). Thank you to the hotel for the amazing stay.

The hosts were warm, helpful, and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The accommodation was peaceful, clean, and well located, perfect for enjoying the surrounding karst scenery. Everything was smooth and comfortable, and I really appreciated the thoughtful local tips. Would happily stay again.

This place is really very close to the spot with 20 yen scenery and ancient Xingping street. Many local delicious food you can find everywhere here. Also in 40 minutes by car you can bring yourself to the legendary show on the river. It worths all the money. The hotel itself has pretty small stuffy rooms. But it’s okay for couple of days to sleep here and see so beautiful area.

This hotel is conveniently located just a 3-5 minute walk east of Xingping Pier, right at the foot of Laozhai Mountain. After getting off the high-speed train, a 5-yuan shuttle bus takes you to Xingping Bus Station, from where it's a pleasant 10-minute walk to the hotel – super convenient! The owner is really nice and incredibly welcoming. They can even help arrange round-trip transportation to Xianggong Mountain for the next day. The hotel boasts a viewing platform and a restaurant, both with reasonable prices. Enjoying a meal or a drink while taking in the stunning Li River views is incredibly relaxing. If you're tired from sightseeing, you can unwind in the lobby downstairs, sip some tea, and listen to the artistic owner play the guitar. It's so relaxing that I decided to extend my stay for a few more days.

We spent two nights here, the room was clean and bed was comfortable, but be careful with the mosquitoes in this area ! The lady at the reception gave us good advice for sightseeing and speaks english :) The restaurant in the hotel is ok and convenient. The view from the roof is good but now there is a building in front of it so it's not as good as it was. Still a good place to have a beer after hiking !

A very cool and cozy hostel. It is located right by the river, and the rooftop offers a view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. On the 4th floor, there is a washing machine, so if necessary, you can wash your clothes and dry them in the designated area on the roof. The girl I often saw at the reception speaks English very well, and I want to thank her for helping me with advice on activities in the village. I also have to praise the information stand on the first floor, as well as the big, detailed map of activities — it’s really great!

Hotel was clean, nice old Chinese architecture style. Rooms were a bit small, but it’s totally ok in my opinion

The best location if you like to be at the center of Xingping Harbor. Rooms are clean and tidy. The rooftops view is already partially blocked by a new building. The guy at the reception was kind enough to offered me to upgrade my room for 10RMB only. Also lots of restaurants around. Be sure to rent an electric scooter to maximize your stay at Yangshuo
