Ulasan Yangshuo Ancient Garden Boutique Hotel (Songcheng Eternal Love Yulonghe Scenic Area)

Unforgettable stay thanks to five-star service, delicious food, spacious and clean accommodations. Sophia at the front desk gave us great advice -- where to get bamboo rafting tickets, the best way to get there (we walked along a lovely footpath along Yulong Rover), and how to find quiet bike paths. During our stay we borrowed bicycles and rode 10km away, only to get caught in a downpour. Sophia arranged a truck to pick up the bicycles so we could take a cab back to the hotel. Our cold and wet kids were relieved! The hotel offers breakfast and afternoon tea, which are great. It also has an entertaining craft room. The pool is also fun. The hotel is located down an alley in a quiet and peaceful location. Ideal for families and groups. Very highly recommend staying here when you come to Yangshuo.

The structure is very beautiful. Traditional Chinese style. The room is large and comfortable. The owner is helpful and speaks good English. The hotel is not on the main road so it's very quiet. Also the garden is very beautiful. Good breakfast.

We love this place but since we visited in 2018 it’s not been maintained and looked after over the years. Still a beautiful location but I hope they will look after the place more. The pool was really green and not clear, lots of painting and updates needed. The staff were brilliant though and so helpful.

Wonderful gem in Yangshuo - beautiful hotel, secluded in a quiet neighbourhood with exceptionally friendly, competent English speaking hotel staff who made our stay there a highlight. We can strongly recommend this wonderful place.

Really beautiful old ancient place with nice breakfast, clean and nice pool and clean big rooms. Staff is really friendly and the place is nice and quiet and still close to everything. Within 5 to 15 min you are at the river or the town where the show is. I would definitely recommend this place and take the bike along the river. I would recommend the long 1.5 hour bamboo rafting and leave early so it won’t be to crowded and you can enjoy the beautiful views on the river.

Ancient Garden Botique Hostel really lets you experience ancient China. From the alley to the entrance, to the public areas and the traditional Chinese inspired garden, it perfectly blends to the karst landscape of Yangshuo. The villa where we stayed took us to another era, the smell of the wood, the design of the house, and the furnitures are on point ancient. The amenities are superb. You can lounge at the bar or stayed at the restaurant and just enjoy the view. I will say I will book again, but its pricey. It was a great experience. Would recommend this place if you want a quality stay.

Lovely hotel with gorgeous, friendly staff. Pool was great! Breakfast options were pretty good too with nice juice, tea and Yunnan coffee. Garden was beautiful.

A charming boutique hotel in a beautiful setting and convenient location. The traditional Chinese architecture and grounds/gardens are gorgeous. The room was fabulous, clean and well maintained, with antique Chinese furniture and modern high quality fixtures, and well equipped with dehumidifier, anti-mosquito device, clothes dryer, water filter, Japanese toilet, etc. The service was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Jima village is really charming, and it is only a few kilometers from Yangshuo and Xi Jie (can walk to Xi Jie within an hour - about 5 KM) so it is easy to get taxis to/from the hotel and can ride bicycles to town in one direction or to Yulong River in the other direction. The free bikes were really useful. The breakfasts were really nice. We stayed a week, and didn't want to leave.

Hotel surroundings and decor are quaint and unique, loved the ancient style. It is located away from the main road, so it's not near other hotels, which is nice. We stayed in a family room that has two connected rooms, which suited our family of 5 pretty well but there isn't much of a view from the room since we were on the ground floor. It doesn't seem that the other rooms have good views either unless you're in an individual villa that is higher up. Although the rooms are nice, it felt a bit musty and very humid - needed better ventilation. After washing clothes, they took forever to dry. Also, there isn't a lot of natural light inside the room. Our kids enjoyed the swimming pool, which is partly why we chose the hotel. Could also hear the guests upstairs from time to time. Breakfast was good, consisted of fruit, coffee, waffles, some Chinese breakfast items, and the local noodles 桂林米粉，which was very tasty! Our booking didn't include breakfast, so we paid 45 rmb per person. Felt a bit overpriced but it was convenient to just eat there. We didn't have any other meals there. Overall, it was a nice stay. But if you prefer more open space and access to mountain scenery, then I'd advise to look elsewhere.
