The room was incredibly clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly. The underfloor heating in the room was excellent. The hotel is very close to the city center, just a few minutes' walk to Bin Hai Square and Hongkou Road. There are also many Yantai specialty restaurants nearby, like Penglai Xiaomian and Wangjiao Xiaoyucun, which is very convenient. The view from the window of Yantai city's architecture was quite interesting, and there's a park behind the hotel. Highly recommend it! A great hotel made my trip to Yantai very enjoyable! 🥳

AAquaNowThe Meiya International Hotel/Apartment offered worldclass service. The staff provides ample assistance and unending patience to foreign guests. Despite the language limitation, the hotel crew ensured that my requests are provided. I booked the cheapest room available for my schedule. It was beyond value, loft type unit which gave a solo traveler like me a huge area to move around. the bed was big. the living area was a whole room by itself. there was a separate space for office work, a kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. Meiya is very generous with space. My room had a view of the city, through its floor to ceiling window. It felt first class. What was a bit confusing is the names used through trip.com: Meiya Hotel or Ramada Hotel or Fulitai Hotel. The location was perfect for the conference I attended, just a few blocks away from Yantai International Expo. Commuting via train to neighboring cities like qingdao and weihai is also easy with the train station just 5 min drive away. There are a couple of shopping malls nearby too. Overall, I am happy with my stay at Meiya International. If given the chance to visit Yantai, I would definitely come and stay here again.

PPeterKThis is a fantastic new hotel perfect for working or relaxing . The lobby has a nice seating area with tables and free coffee and tea. The guest rooms are on higher floors so there is a long elevator ride and sometimes a wait but the views would be great in nice weather. My room was a sea view but the weather didn’t cooperate. There is a small refrigerator and microwave and kettle in the room with a super comfortable bed and a small sofa. The breakfast had a lot of nice western and Chinese options with a chef preparing noodles and eggs. The staff was friendly and spoke English and there was English news on the tv. The only minus is there are not a lot of shops and restaurants immediately nearby. There is a small supermarket in the same building but that’s about it for a block or so. There are convenient bus stops right outside the hotel so getting around is easy or a quick taxi or car ride to anything you need at the shopping malls. You could walk if the weathers is nice. Highly recommend and I will definitely stay again next time.

HHazelAn incredibly high-value five-star hotel during the off-season! 🏨 Perfect for families with kids or a group of girlfriends. 🪟 The loft room's bathroom is on the second floor, with toilets on both levels. The hotel's spa area has hot tubs and showers, so even if there are many people, you don't have to wait for the single bathroom in your room. You can just go for a dip in the hot pools, enjoy the sauna, then shower there and come back to your soft, comfy bed! (Note: ♨️ the spa closes at 10 PM). ⛱️ The hotel grounds are huge! Right behind it is a long, beautiful coastline. You can play outside during the day, and in the evening, take a stroll on the beach 🌃 listening to the waves, and even spot some seabirds. 🥣 Breakfast is served facing the ocean, so you can watch the waves while you eat. The restaurant is on the first floor, facing the sea 🌊, so it might be a bit cooler. If you get cold easily, just wear a bit more 🧣. 🍠 The roasted sweet potatoes are delicious, and they even have Brie cheese 😋. There aren't any cakes or desserts for breakfast (I was craving some!), but they do have classic European Danish pastries and freshly made large crepes 🫔 (Tianjin style, not the Shandong type). Yantai apples 🍎 are tasty (the welcome apple we received was super sweet!). 😌 The towels in the room are soft and fluffy. 🕴️ Service: Excellent. A big thanks to the gym front desk lady who waited for me to finish showering even after her shift ended 🙏🙏🙏. ♨️ The pool/hot tubs/baths close at 10 PM. The gym is open 24 hours and has all the basic equipment you need. There's even a Smith machine and an Olympic bar, which allowed me to get my squats in! 😎 (Warning: Add weight plates responsibly).

DDenWe travelled from Shanghai by train, so didn't arrive at Holiday Inn, Yantai until 23:30, my wife and I were very tired and a pleasant welcome would have been appreciated, instead we got a very miserable receptionist, no smile, no greeting, we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience. I understand the language barrier was going to be an issue, but the lack of information on breakfast times, facilities and general directions were poor. During the 6 night stay, the experience improved, the day staff were more helpful, again taking language barrier in to consideration, the English is passable, but not great, they gave us a free extra breakfast so our Son could join us one morning. Hotel itself is clean, comfortable and I'd rate it 5/5 for that. We were checking out at 4am to catch our flight, I'd asked already if that was OK and if I had to do anything, I was told it fine, there will be somebody on reception. At 4am we found the receptionist fast asleep on a near by sofa, she didn't wake up, so we just left key card and departed.

2205333****Hotel location is good, just on the edge of the Golden Beach Park, go out and cross the road is the seaside. The room was clean and the bathroom did not have any smell. The room layout was reasonable and very warm. It was very comfortable to live in. The young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we took the children to take the initiative to upgrade the room type, thank you. It is also very convenient to eat nearby, especially recommended to our small shop. great This hotel is very recommended, next time you come to Yantai, you will not hesitate to choose!

The bathroom is so big, but the shower room is so small. It is difficult for a fat person to turn around. There are ants crawling in the bathroom. It is equipped as a B&B. There were very few things, including no laundry detergent. The suitcase had to be dragged along a relatively uneven decorative road, which was very inconvenient. The wheels were very worn and noisy. The security guy's service is better than that at the front desk. Not cost effective
