Excellent location and very good service and professional staff who can't do enough for you! The food is fantastic too! So much choice from their salads, meat and desserts which are exceptional 😍 The hotel's unique and decorative features and location is just perfect. Highly recommend!!!!!

Love this hotel. The staff are friendly and hard working. Our room has a sea view and is great value for money. The cleaners are good. The bed is comfortable and I love the salt water pool. That has been the highlight for me! My only recommendations are that some coffee making facilities would be good in the room. However, coffee is available in the restaurant area, as far as I'm aware, all the time. The all inclusive bar has limited cocktail options but I'm not here to get drunk. The flies are a bit much in the main areas, so some sort of fly catcher / traps are recommended. Our room has been absolutely fine fly wise. Also had a great massage thanks to Riadh for organising it.

We have just returned from a 7 night family holiday at the Alhambra Thalasso Hotel in Tunisia. What was meant to be a 5* hotel, is actually like a 2*. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ibrahim (assistant manager) and he explained about the timings of breakfast, lunch and dinner and told us he hopes we have a relaxing holiday. As we entered our room- Room 1051, the smell of damp overtook us and the walls were covered in moths as a result. There were also cob webs near one of the lampshades. We later discovered the damp smell was in fact coming from the A/C in the room. The mini fridge was extremely dirty and broken. We went back to reception and requested a room change. Ibrahim (assistant manager) showed us to our new room (Room 2054) and was quite abrupt as if to say we should of stayed with that musty room. He doesn't realise how much money was spent for this holiday. The fridge was quite warm at the highest setting, but much cleaner then the 1st room. No drinks or soft drinks included. Evening entertainment from the animation team was good. They seemed to have about 10 chart songs, which I discovered was their only music going as they played the same exact music by the pool in the daytime and the same exact songs at night. This happened for the entire time we were there. In the morning on the 2nd day, we went to use the gym, but left disappointed to find the treadmill and bike not working. The seat for the weight's machine was broken. No one was in the gym and should of had a ''broken gym'' sign on. The food in the buffet was plentiful, but nothing looked edible. The signs were all written in French and I soon discovered that Allergy info and the availability for non-dairy users were non-existent at this hotel. I saw they had dairy milk, but myself who can't have dairy (lactose intolerance). Luckily, I had brought my own instant coffee with oat milk from the UK. They had a chef on the fresh egg stations and a chef doing fresh crepes and doughnuts. The chefs all look so miserable as if they were being forced to be there. You could just tell that they probably weren't getting paid enough. I ended up eating an omelette every day for breakfast, along with 1 small doughnut with sugar and honey. My son came down with food poisoning on Day 2 and I had to go to reception to request to see a doctor on Day 3, as my son was getting dehydrated and wasn't able to keep anything down). The reception rang the doctor (as there wasn't a doctor on site). Ibrahim then suggested it was the ''climate, weather, beach or pool'' that must of got my son ill, not the food in the hotel. The doctor came and examined my son and said it was a viral stomach bug/food poisoning that he must of caught from the hotel. The doctor said someone preparing the food must of gone to the toilet, not washed their hands then prepared the food. We even watched the chefs at the BBQ station, taking raw chicken with the same tongs that were holding cooked chicken. This

Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Yasmine Hammamet indeed is one of the best hotels in Hammamet. We were greeted with lovely flowers and refreshing lemonade on arrival. The staff here is literally the best! Our suite was huge, me and my friend had separate bedrooms with a private balcony and even private bathrooms and toilets and we shared a gorgeous living room with another terrace with a lovely view to the Mediterannean. The food here was delicious, we loved the iftar experience at one of their restaurants. But the best part was the SPA experience. We had the best massages and procedures here. We took their signature procedure and it was totally worth it! Can't recommend it enough!

Excellent hôtel

Discussing hotel .j don't mind old fashioned but everything was broken shower ,no handles on wardrobes . 1 draw j opened and it was just the frame no base . The patio doors 5 rooms I was shown would not lock to which I was told my belongings would be safe ! Really would you ????food very very small variety very poor quality .salad looked like it was days old . Loft broke down twice in less than 48hours .it took 3 hours each time to fix . No WiFi in any of the rooms only in reception .beaches full of rubbish . A camel opposite on its own tied up by the feet all evening and day apart from when used on the beach .it looked very unwell and underfed and was alone . The reception and pool itself were presentable. The hall way carpets were dirty and in places ripped . I beg you not to be deceived by these pictures .I've slept on sleeper trains in india that were better than this .also the majority of the people looked quite rough I hate to be judgemental but even the locals said the hotel was rubbish . Also beware love hollodays is going into liquidation j think. Some people have paid for hollodays then got to their hotels only to find out they were homeless as love hollodays had not paid the hotel !!!!disgusting!!!!!I wasn't there even 48 hours and flew home .if one thing had of been okay but everything was so poor all aspects . Our stay was wonderful in one off the bungalows. Staff are excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. Mandy from the beach pool was excellent and look after us for our stay. So much choice in the restaurant breakfast lunch and dinner with premium drinks. The pink fizzy wine was great and one of our party celebrated a birthday which the pool staff sung happy birthday with a cake and likewise the evening staff also made the effort to celebrate with us. Overall a great stay and would recommend highly, we will return.

We booked this hotel last minute as we wanted alittle winter sun. The reviews online were amazing and that’s why we booked this hotel, on face value it’s picturesque and the gardens are well maintained. The private beach is amazing, a great feature to this hotel. There are however a few things to note especially if you’re English! This is very much a French hotel, everyone speaks in French, daytime games are in French, evening entertainment is in French and even the signs around the hotel are all in French. This didn’t bother us too much as we were able to use Google translate, it can get alittle difficult when trying to communicate and at times it felt quite isolating. Most of the entertainment team, bar staff and reception speak English so that helps a lot. The rooms are very basic with only one socket available In a room suitable for 4 people, I would recommend bringing an extension lead, on a positive note the beds are super comfortable. The aircon unit is dated so doesn’t work very well, can imagine this causing some discomfort in the peak summer months. The food is lovely, one of the best parts of the hotel. Authentic Tunisian dishes are served which were great to try. Breakfast is the same everyday which did become quite repetitive but if you love an omelette you’ll be alright. Lunch and dinner are pretty much the same most days but they do have a grill station and a pasta bar if you want to mix it up. If you are a fussy eater I wouldn’t necessarily sign up to the all inclusive, they don’t serve your standard all inclusive dishes ie nuggets and chips. The dessert station was lovely but again it’s the same everyday so can become quite repetitive. The snack bar is left overs from lunch. There are only 5 cocktails on the all inclusive but they are very nice and tasty so don’t be put off but the limited menu. The WiFi is pot luck, sometimes it lets you connect sometimes it doesn’t. If your room is close to the reception you could get wifi in it, ours wasn’t so the only time we got a connection was in reception or around the pool and most of the time it didn’t work. Overall, this is a great place for some winter sun on a budget. We did thoroughly enjoy ourselves but we only stayed for 5 days, I think anymore maybe too much.

Room was good, cleaned everyday, everyday clean towels. Very friendly service, everyday asked us if everything was okay. Food also ok, large selection, you could choose e.g. omelette, pancakes, pizza, pasta or fish. good desserts and fruits. Good coctails. Beach also good. The pool is quiet, sun loungers are available there is no need to book them :) and the bar is open. large deep pool. Diverse music. Every day a lot of animations, stretching, darts, aquagym, water polo, volleyball. In the evening, there is a mini-disco and various events: karaoke, games, and at the end of the day, a disco. Great job by the animators, Kouki and Dido are the best.
