Nova Hotel Yerevan Reviews

I’ve been to this hotel as it was new and it changed a lot. The staff wasn’t very helpful in solving the problems and not very friendly as well. The breakfast has changed a lot. Now it’s a good hostel breakfast but not a 4-star hotel breakfast. The windows can’t be opened properly.

I had a wonderful experience in this hotel. It is located in a quiet and silent place in the city centre, that gives a feeling of comfort and safety. The staff is extremely kind and always ready to help. Shuttle service: top quality pick-up and drop-off service to/from the airport.

The hotel is very clean. Excellent breakfast variety and quality, excellent staff behavior, very good housekeeping service. The facilities of the rooms are complete and the lobby area is quiet and safe The location of the hotel is also good. I recommend this hotel to couples and families

All the staff (room cleaning, reception, cafe) were very friendly and helpful. The rooms well kept and fully stocked with everything we needed. Although initially difficult to find the vehicle entrance, the location is walking distance from bars, restaurants and tourist sights.

We stayed two nights on a brief trip to Yerevan. The hotel was tricky to find, with the entrance off Tumanyan street being easy to miss. At least, we missed it. Once at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The rooms were modern, spotless and with good A/C. We slept well. Good WiFi and all the usual amenities. We ate in the hotel the first evening, as we were tired and not very hungry. Not recommended by the front desk staff, who proposed an alternative. Food was OK, but pricy.

Nova hotel is in a good location close to many restaurants and shopping areas. What is even more excellent is the hotel staff are extremely courteous, attentive and warm. It was my husband's birthday a day after we checked in but we did not mention it at the revolution. The hotel has a lovely breakfast buffet and we were enjoying it the next morning. Suddenly we heard 3 young girls from the breakfast area singing happy birthday and bringing a huge red velvet and chocolate cake to surprise my husband. The girl from the reception who checked us in joined as well. We were overwhelmed by the gesture when we came to know that she had noticed while checking and had arranged the whole surprise. It goes to show how much attention to detail the staff are trained to. We noticed the cheerfulness and hospitality from all the girls at the reception who would run in to get coffee or juice if a guest was waiting at the reception. Kudos to the management for engaging and training wonderful staff. Thank you girls for making our stay memorable. The studio apartment we stayed in was spacious and perfect to come back for a sound sleep.

This small hotel is located in the second building line from the Sayat Nova Ave. We stayed 7 nights at de luxe room, 4th floor. Hotel is in new building. Room was quite big, serviced every day. Tea/coffee facilities. Very clean. Breakfast is ok - a selection of local cheeses, dried meats (basturma) and dried fruits (eg. apricots, figs, plums), maybe the restaurant is too small and at certain times it can be quite crowded. The staff are exceptionally nice, polite and helpful in every matter! I especially mean lady who worked at the reception on September 11 - she even helped us carry our luggage to the taxi. Unfortunately I don't know her name. Thank you! The hotel is located in the city center, just a few minutes' walk from the city's main attractions. If you have a car, parking is a challenge - very narrow access through a closed barrier and very little space next to the building. In general, a hotel worth recommending for a stay in Yerevan.

Stayed for 5 night in the end of AUGUST. While the hotel per se is a sold choice for money paid, its crew is spectacular. Nothing was too much for the front desk folks: Margarita, Lucy Stepanian and Georgy. They were going above and beyond their call of duty in their willingness to help. Hotel has fairly small rooms, good ac and wifi. Very decent breakfast was included. Nova is centrally located albeit away from the sounds of bog streets.

It is cosy hotel located close to the main attractions in the city. The Hôtel is very clean and well maintained. The break fast is good, however it is a small area. The staff were very friendly. The access to the hotel is through small lanes with not enough space for two cars to cross. Also the parking facilities looked insufficient. Although is was mentioned as four star hotel, didn't look quite like that. the pricing was high for the facilities and the location.

The hotel is located in the city center, in the courtyard. There is no noise from the street, but the windows of neighboring houses are close enough. The rooms are cleaned well, every day a new bottle of water per guest. The beds are large and comfortable. Shower gel, slippers, towels, shampoo - everything is available. There was even a small nail file! Very pleasant. What I really didn't like was BREAKFAST. This is a big minus for the hotel. If you stay at the hotel for 2 days, it is acceptable, for a longer time - you will go hungry from breakfast. The porridge was of the same type (oatmeal) and then not every day. Small yoghurts in cups. This is the end of the milk products. Basturma and salinity (tomatoes, gherkins, etc.) every morning. Fried bacon and beans in tomato. There were also fresh fruits (not enough, fruit salad can not be made), vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes.), boiled eggs every day. The plum, it seems, was not washed.. If you have dietary restrictions or you just don't eat salted, fried, pickled in such large volumes every morning, then this is not your breakfast. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the hotel.
