Hotel berhampiran Park, Yeroskipou

We have just returned from a great holiday at the Mayfair Hotel, Paphos 4th - 11th November 2023. There are 2 parts to the hotel, the Hotel and Gardens, both are located together in nice well kept grounds and with 3 outdoor and 1 indoor (heated) pool with plenty of sunbeds. We stayed in the Mayfair Hotel and room was spotlessly clean with Tea / Coffee facilities and a fridge which was ideal. Food was excellent with a great choice for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and there was also a dedicated section for Vegan and Vegetarian choices as well as the excellent selection of salads from the salad bar, there is a lovely outdoor dining terrace and staff are very attentive. The bar staff were friendly and with a great selection of drinks included within the All Inclusive Package and is worth the difference. There was a varied evening entertainment programme with some great live singers performing and the entertainment team had a programme of activities throughout the day. The spa was relaxing and well priced. Already looking at returning next November as weather was excellent and this is a great hotel choice, yes it is in a residential area but its only a 15 minute walk to the waterfront / harbour area and would definitely recommend.

I had premium garden cabana with sea view. There is nothing premium about this cabana there is no garden and sea view is limited. Room are clean and service is good but rooms and hotel needs upgrade and maintenance ie. in my room floor was falling apart. Pool is very nice. Access to beach ONLY via few steps. On the beach you need to pay for sunbed and umbrella if you want to use it otherwise you can lay on the towel/sand. I was at the end of September and age average in this hotel was well above 65-70 so no young couples or families at ALL. Overpriced for the overall quality.

Aliathon has a very special place in my family's hearts. We've stayed here 4 times over the years. From just staying a night or two as a couple, to going for a week long holiday with our children. The rooms are always lovely and spacious, staff always pleasant. I enjoy our breakfasts, though its now moved locations from our last stay. I did like it when it was in the larger dining hall but it was still really good quality. Unfortunately I've never stayed as part of tui, as all inclusive isn't our thing. But our kids love this place and we will always come back here.

Yet again, a fabulous break away at this lovely hotel. We stayed for 10 nights in a sea and pool view room in the adults only wing. This was our fourth visit and we enjoyed every second. What we like about this hotel is that it’s always consistent. The high standards are always there. From the cleanliness to the customer service you receive from all team members. If I had to have find fault with something, it would be the food especially in the restaurant of an evening was luke warm at best but that’s totally understandably when people don’t close the Bain Marie dishes once they’ve helped themselves. Special shout out to Ion who looked after me on the terrace most afternoons whilst I enjoyed my “time out” with my book and a glass of wine and then later on in the evenings too. Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The staff were super friendly and hospitable. The pool was amazing. Self serve drinks were ideal. The cocktails included in the all inclusive were great. Some people had upgraded so they could have branded spirits and bottled beers. But the local stuff was absolutely fine. Be careful on the spirit measures. The standard in Cyprus is 45ml compared to a 25ml single measure in the UK. The snacks availability by the pool were delicious too. We didn't end up eating in the restaurant at lunch because the quality of food in the snack area by the pool was so good. We did eat at all the individual cuisine restaurants (Italian, Lebanese, Greek and Japanese) on site. Fabulous food. Again, the staff were very attentive. My partner has a nut allergy and they were very accommodating and reassuring. Would definitely go back.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations! The pictures online doesn’t door any justice at all! The interior, and attention to details is quite exquisite! The staff are friendly and extremely accommodating making your stay truly memorable! I think this has to be if not the best hotel in paphos! My first time staying here but won’t be my last! The food is amazing, especially the breakfast so much option and also the option of champagne for breakfast says it all! They accommodated my late check out and provided me with a complimentary room to get ready before my flight to the airport. This hotel in my opinion is beyond 5*.

From a late evening arrival we were greeted by the general manager I think and he was lovely he walked us to our room number 718 took us into our room and showed us how the air con worked etc. He could not do enough for us. After unpacking we went for a couple of drinks in the bar and was greeted warmly by the very friendly staff. We went for breakfast the next morning and the food was lovely plenty of choice and very nicely prepared. There are plenty of seats around but be careful if you are non-smoker like us and sat one morning in the smoking area by mistake - most smokers were smoking and eating at the same time lol. We were just bed and breakfast as that was what we opted for which was adequate for our needs. Our room was cleaned daily with regular towel changes and bed linen changes. Our room was lovely 718 with lovely views across the sea. We had a fridge, safe and a kettle included but that was due to the upgrate we paid for on booking the holiday. On our first evening I lost my bangle and it was found by a bar waitress and handed in for me after I put a request on the hotel's Facebook page to see if anyone had handed one in - I did not expect to see it again so was totally shocked to get it back - THANK YOU. Went to Coral Bay several times which is where the bus 615 terminates it is the best beach ever. The Cynthiana has its own private beach with free sunbeds but you will have to get up at 4am to get a sunbed on the beach or on the jetty area. Plenty available around the pool. All in all I can honestly say I am so glad we chose this hotel it was so clean, friendly and definately worth the money and we so look forward to returning in 2025 hopefully to the same room 718. Not a 5 star hotel, 3 star would be fair. Rooms and corridors are dated and in need of refurbishment. Bathrooms were good. The built in wardrobes are old and the door came off in one of our rooms. We paid a lot of money to stay here and was frustrating our mini fridge was not replenished and we had to pay extra for this. Just water and soft drinks was what we wanted but no. Every other all inclusive our fridge has been stocked with soft drinks and beer. On arrival we checked in and got given our keys and that was that. There was no explanation as to where we eat, what other restaurants we could book into, entertainment, activities, snacks etc. Every other hotel we have had a 10/15 minute welcome talk and a drink. Not here! We booked as we were told it had a sports bar but there isn’t one. They put a screen up for one football game. We were also told there was a night club but there wasn’t. The entertainment, if you can call it that, was awful and nothing more than a bit of music on the patio. We did see that there was a small amphitheater but that wasn’t open again a shame as we book all inclusives for this. The hotel is also a wedding venue and priority gets given to the wedding so we felt very second fiddle. Not only was a chunk of hotel used for this but more importantly all the staff were too so the service for us guests was painfully slow. I even said something to one of the barmen and he asked me if I had seen Fawlty Towers!! Then the beach it was dirty and far from impressive of only the hotel took care of it like the neighbouring hotel. On our first day there it was lined with numerous bin liners. With 5 kids the entertainment was important to us but that was a let down then the water sports was also. Half of the activities were not in operation. The main boat was being refurbished we were told - maybe do that in the quiet time or when the hotel is closed…. We had a lovely holiday nevertheless but had to make our own fun. There are local activities close such as water park and boat trips and beaches nearby which do offer water sports. We would not return and left feeling slightly ripped off
