Ulasan Crowne Plaza Yichang by IHG (Three Gorges Visitor Center)

Returning to Yichang from overseas with my family, I booked this hotel through Trip.com, arguably the best in Yichang. The stay met our expectations, especially with the 360-degree views of the beautiful Yangtze River from our room, which the kids absolutely loved. The hotel has some history to it, but it feels very safe. The surrounding area is well-equipped with amenities, including malls and a wide array of dining options. Tina at the front desk provided excellent service. We'll be checking in again in a few days.

I had a great stay! The location is perfect, and the view of the waterfront is magical. The service was so warm and friendly, specifically Cherry was super helpful and helped us organise a stunning evening river cruise. Would stay here again👍

Hotel located opposite the dock and next to Wanda Plaza which saved us the trouble to get a taxi to move around. We took the cruise from Chongqing, needed to stay 1 night and returned to Chongqing by high speed rail the next day. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Got us a 9 seater vehicle to send us to the railway station. The river view bedroom is spacious. Hotel common area has been renovated, lift lobby marble was polished and corridors with new carpets. Bedroom curtains and armchairs are dark brown velvet which i think are old design, replace it with lighter shade of beige will makes it look more modern. The bathroom floor needs polishing & grouting.

Breakfast has a lot of options, but the hot stuff isn't warm. It's in a good spot, and the room is clean.

Great location. Good service. The room had acfaint smell of smoke through. Restaurant service was prompt and breakfast abundant. Would probably stay again if I revisit the city

Hotel staff helped us when our flight was rescheduled due to Typhoon Ragasa, by extending our checkout time and contacting the airline company. Rooms are huge, clean and very comfortable. It is located just 5 mins from where the cruise dock. Hotel is right next to Wanda mall where there is Uniqlo, starbucks etc. There are plenty of small local restaurants and street food within walking distance.

Rooms was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent. Staff was very helpful!

The check in system was such a mess, we booked four rooms individually, but when I checked in, I got a room which had already checked in by my sister. I asked the front office to double check by using my name, but they insisted that they could NOT find my booking under my name. They only identified the booking by checking the booking confirmation number rather than by checking against the spelling of one's full name printed on the ID. The problem was solved in the end after I showed them my sister's room confirmation number, see how it ******, but I was not satifised with such a serious mistake that IHG group could encounter. Quite disappointed although the front office manager did apologize to me afterwards and gave the complimentary breakfast. The room key card could not been placed together with my mobile phone, it was quite wired. I always travel to Beijing and other places, and it was the first time that the room key turned invalid when it stayed close to a mobile phone! Interesting experience!

Hotel location is very good. Just next to Wanda shoppingmall. Hotel staff is also very good. Was helped by Cherry Yang and she was very attentive. Thank you! Will stay here again

They upgraded to river view for free

I enjoyed my stay here. The location was great and the staff were very professional. There was a nice breakfast. I would strongly recommend paying a little bit more to get the river facing view.
