Ulasan Shenhua Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Drum Tower (though Gaode Maps was a bit off, directing me to the Drum Tower roundabout). The hotel's overall design is pleasant. Upon entering the room, it felt like a classic 4-star hotel in terms of layout. The attention to detail was excellent; things like the signs and small amenities were thoughtfully placed and very user-friendly. It gives the impression that the owner has a background in hotel management. The sole drawback was the strong foot odor emanating from the duvet I used. My friends staying in other rooms didn't encounter this, but the smell in my room was quite pervasive. I suspect the linen might have been contaminated during transport or handling. Additionally, the carpet in the guest room showed signs of age, with some dusty spots in hard-to-reach areas. The hotel offers a private parking lot, and they were very thoughtful in covering my car with a sunshade, which was a great service. The half-point deduction is primarily for the duvet's strange smell; otherwise, everything else was excellent.

Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location. The rooms were impeccably clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Parking was convenient, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. It's also very close to the pedestrian street. Overall, my stay was a fantastic experience. Cons: None.

The room was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, complete with complimentary fruit and yogurt. On the ground floor, guests could find a variety of thoughtful amenities, including hot tea, light snacks, and even an ultrasonic glasses cleaner. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the Drum Tower. Situated on an old street, dining options are incredibly convenient, with plenty of affordable and authentic local eateries. Exploring the commercial streets is also very easy.

The hotel is incredibly close to Gulou. The front desk, security, and cleaning staff were all exceptionally warm and welcoming. They were incredibly patient and thoughtful: before check-in, they called to confirm our estimated arrival, asked if we were bringing children, and prepared special toiletries and toothbrushes for them, even inquiring about our room requirements. This is exceptionally accommodating for families with kids. A night market is conveniently located very close to the hotel, which was a huge plus. While the hotel is a little dated, the exceptional service, in my opinion, is far more important. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yinchuan.

This place is great for backpackers, especially international travelers. The hotel's location makes getting around very convenient. However, the photos of the hotel entrance are quite misleading; it actually has several flights of stairs that aren't shown. I hope the booking platform looks into this. We had a lot of luggage, and unfortunately, there was no one available at the hotel to help us with it. On the bright side, the laundry facilities were very convenient.

We stayed at Shenhua Hotel again after our trip to Zhongwei. We booked a triple room, which featured a master bedroom and a smaller second bedroom. The smaller room didn't have AC, but with the recent mild evenings, it wasn't an issue at all. The service here is also top-notch: the buffet breakfast on the second floor was plentiful, offering not just standard fare but also a noodle station and freshly ground coffee. What truly surprised us was the presence of a well-equipped laundry room (as pictured) – it felt like a branded hotel chain such as Huazhu or Home Inn, just without the prominent branding. While parking can be a bit limited, there's usually an attendant to help guide you. You can also request the hotel to reserve a spot beforehand. If all hotel parking is taken, there's street parking just 50 meters away, and the hotel will reimburse the fees. As for its prime location: it's just a hundred meters from Gulou Pedestrian Street, right in the Yuhuangge area. This means you're surrounded by fantastic local eateries (like Lao Mao Shou Zhua, Tongxin Chun, etc.), which we found to be more authentic and reliable than some of the 'internet-famous' spots nearby (though there are plenty of those too!). There's also a vibrant night market at the end of the street, where the Xinjiang kebabs are absolutely delicious, and you can find a great selection of other local Ningxia specialties. All in all, it's incredibly convenient. It will definitely be my first choice when I visit Ningxia again. It's the kind of place where you can save your budget for experiences like the Zhongwei desert, making it a true hidden gem. Oh, and they even provide a complimentary welcome fruit platter!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Drum Tower. The vibrant football culture is palpable throughout, largely thanks to the owner being a true football enthusiast. The hotel pays meticulous attention to detail and guest experience, smartly prioritizing hygiene and comfort over superficial aspects. They even provide thoughtful amenities like complimentary sewing kits, dental floss, and refreshing drinks such as cucumber water in the self-service area. Parking is also convenient. Every staff member displays remarkable warmth and a genuine zest for life. They clearly value teamwork, much like the collaborative spirit in football. I truly hope the hotel continues to thrive and that their football team achieves even greater success. On my next visit, I'll definitely seek out the owner to experience Ningxia's unique football passion firsthand!

Excellent! I was just passing through late at night, saw this hotel, and spontaneously booked a room because it looked promising. The young lady working the night shift was incredibly helpful and kind! There's a night market nearby (though I didn't get a chance to eat there), and the Drum Tower is just a short walk away. The bed was very clean, the pillows were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I even went to the wrong floor by mistake, and the staff member at the restaurant entrance kindly helped me find my room! Huge thanks! Right next to the Drum Tower, there's a bus stop with direct routes to the museum. Conveniently, a day tour bus departs right outside the hotel. For 80 RMB per person, it offers hotel pickup/drop-off and takes you to the Western Xia Tombs and Helan Mountain. You can even purchase attraction tickets directly from the driver!

Very clean room, good location, friendly and helpfull staff. We were given free buffet breakfast voucher when checked. Both staff miss 邢 and 小宋 service are very good. There is a self service laundry room, very convenient. Water dispenser, free flow of tea, fruits, snacks at lobby area. Thank you hotel mamagement, we had wonderful 2 days stay. We were given breakfast pack the third day when we checked out early.

I stayed in the hotel for three days. The price is reasonable and the room is so clean. The location is also very strategic and close to many restaurants. The staffs are very polite and I feel so happy during my 3 days stay.

This is our second consecutive year staying at ShenHua Hotel. We received the same excellent service as last year. From Ms. XiaoXing at the front desk to the restaurant and cleaning staff, everyone was very hospitable. Looking forward to returning next year.

Was reluctant to leave this excellent hotel warm hospitality extended to us from the very first day we checked in on the 9th June. The house keeper did a good job too. Thanks everyone at shenhua hotel.
