The Intercontinental Yokohama Pier 8 is part of the Cruise Terminal Complex ”Yokohama Hammerhead”. If you are familiar with Cup Noodle museum, then it's right behind it. It's also a short 10 minute walk from the other Intercontinental: Yokohama Grand. The closest stations for both these hotels is the Minatomirai station on the Minatomirai line. If you are coming by JR, the closet station is Sakuragi-cho on the Keihin-Touhoku line and from there about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Yokohama Grand and a further 10 minutes to Pier 8. From the Hammerhead, you can clearly see the iconic fin shaped Intercontinental Yokohama Grand. It's in a good location with shops and restaurants in Yokohama Hammerhead, Marine & Walk and the famous Red Brick warehouse. The hotel is a rectangle building with an open area in the middle (garden) of the building from level 3. The ”outside” rooms are the City and Bay View rooms while the ”inside” rooms are the Garden View rooms. There's also a rooftop garden where you have a great view overlooking the bay and can just sit and relax in the sun. The staff were exceptional and the rooms amazing. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

At the top of a downtown tower is the Oakwood Suites Yokohama. Upon arrival; after parking in the hotel's underground car park, we arrived at the reception with a breathtaking view of the city of Yokohama and Mount Fuji in the distance. Our rooms were fantastic and beautifully decorated. They were very large with a large, very well-equipped kitchen, a magnificent bathroom, a washing machine and a breathtaking view of the harbour. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel was exemplary. We had a very pleasant stay and all the hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly.

を利用して宿泊。部屋は312号室。部屋からの眺望は無し。磨り硝子で窓は開閉出来ない(>__<)フロントスタッフはチェックイン手続きで忙*され何も対応せず。GO TO トラベルキャンペーン利用なのに何故かチェックイン時に検温、身分証確認無し。大丈夫ですかスーパーホテル？？フロントスタッフはちゃんと理解してますか？スリッパは使い捨てタイプではなく、普通のもの。ハンドソープも無し。このホテルはコロナ対策をきちんとやってるのか甚だ疑問？朝食はバイキングではなく、弁当対応。冷蔵庫はエコの為かなかなか冷えない(-_-;)飲み物のアメニティ無し、フロントで必要なものを取っていかないと部屋には歯ブラシしか無い。その歯ブラシを返却、またはマイ箸持参でお菓子プレゼントってなんだかね...微妙。

夜遅くに予約・到着となりましたがフロントのスタッフの方にはスムーズに対応していただきました。馬車道・関内駅どちらも近く関内ホールはすぐ目の前です。お部屋はとても広く、ひとりがデスクで作業をしても、もうひとりはソファに座り小さなテーブルで作業をすることができました。もちろん二人掛けのソファのため、並んで食事やお茶を楽しむこともできます。荷物を広げるスペースもあり短時間の滞在にはもったいない位のお部屋で、改めてゆっくり宿泊したいと思いました。

Booked the hotel room during festive season and was charged 190usd for the room. Room furniture and equipment are old and seem to be at least 20 years old. Room felt cold even with centralised heater on and wifi connection was unstable. There was also brown stain (coffee?) on the day curtain and the night curtain could not be closed completely. Would recommend that one source for other hotels in the vicinity (many) and likely could find a better option out there.

從石川町車站走大約7分鐘的路程，車站出口就是超市，飯店就在中華街裡面，還可以徒步走去看鋼彈，大約走15分鐘，我們到的時候還沒三點，櫃檯小姐讓我們寄放行李先去逛一逛，飯店房間不大，但打開一個大行李箱沒有問題，房間電視可惜只能看日本頻道，如果可以看youtube就更好了，但可以花1000円加購看影片，一樓有兩台洗衣機和兩台烘衣機，洗一次衣服三百円，烘半小時100，洗衣粉可以跟櫃檯買一包50円，但我覺得不好用，建議去超市買，飯店沒有提供水或者女性保養品（有洗面乳）整體來說是設備很簡單，但是價格實在優惠，cp值很高

Check in was smooth. The hotel clerk who checked us in was friendly. Check out is self serviced. There are check out kiosks on the ground flr and the 20th flr. The hotel staff told us to check out on the ground flr. But if you planned on storing your luggage at the hotel after check out, you should use the check out kiosk on the 20th. The hotel has WiFi coverage in the entire premises. No telephone in the room (not really necessary anyway), but there is a telephone to the reception on each flr by the elevators. The room itself is new and clean. Toilet is separated from the shower. There is a stand shower and bathtub. Breakfast is good at this price point. 7-11 is on the ground flr right next to the hotel entrance.

Reservation was last minute. I booked smoking by mistake. Still it was ok to change. Check in was smooth and fast. Bed was large... Definitely appreciated as I am 6'2 with long arms and legs. The wide TV was also most welcomed to work with. I had business graphics to analyze. It was convenient to connect the HDMI cable from my laptop. It was a quite room and internet was fast. The neighborhood is really convenient whatever you might have in mind... Restaurant, taxi, public transportation, park walk, even the Stadium is near by... Not to mention the biggest Chinatown in Japan. I paid less then 4000 yen for one night, one person... (Including a few discounts). So, it was an overall good experience. I was just bothered by the TV remote control not working properly. But i managed.

하네다 공항에서 가기 편한 요코하마로 선택했는데 역도 가깝고 근처에 식당가 백화점 편의점 돈키호테까지 있어서 너무 좋았아요!! 룸도 커서 밤에 한잔하기 좋았고 리버뷰도 나쁘지 않았습니다. 다만 룸에 생수가 없는게 많이 아쉽네요~

好久沒住過用這種傳統鑰匙的酒店了。晚飯前四處從酒店的建築和服務都能感到其90多年的底藴。我們吃完飯到中庭裏透氣，餐廳的服務生很貼心地追出來問我們要不要以庭院為背景拍個照，然後幫我們拍了合影。若説有什麼不會被人工智能代替，這種不即不離卻又讓人小小感動的服務大概是其中之一吧。

今滞在中です 昼から夜にかけている女性のスタッフが2名ますが1人は穏やかな良い方で 1人が気の強い人です この気の強い人にとても嫌な物言いをされました よく客の暴言とか許されないと話題になりますが 逆はもあると思います そもそもTVの不具合で部屋移動を余儀なくされたのに TVの事を質問したら「私に設備の事を言われても！！」って逆ギレされ だったら誰に言うんだって思う フロントはお客の質問に答えるのが当たり前です わからないならもう少し言いようがあります 続けて「不満があるなら明日どうぞ！！」との事です」 明日どうぞとは他の人に言えという事です たんに質問しただけなのに すごい口調で言われ 「不満があるようなのでそう言いました！言葉のチョイスが悪かったですか？！」とも言われました 決して自分は折れないという姿勢です 歳をとると短気になるとは本当ですね フロント業務に向いていません サービス業ですよ 過度なサービスは必要ないですが最低限のフロント業務はして欲しいです 「そんな言い方で今まで誰かに何か言われた事ないのか？」と聞いたら 「ありません！！」との事 言われないのと思われてないのは別物です そんな事もわからないのかな？ この事でスタッフを通じて支配人に連絡しようと思いましたが 連絡取れないとのこと 連絡取れない支配人なんていないと思いますが… 4連泊初日ですが明日もこの気の強い人が勤務らしいので 取り敢えずチェックアウトしようと思う 自分に自信が無いのか気が小さいのか 一生懸命吠えてる感じ 哀れに思う 客にそんな事して何になると言うのか？ もう一度言う 言われないのと思われてないのは別物です！！

安くて良いですね。バーベキュープラン、フレンチプランで2泊しました、13000円で宿泊できて、何と駐車料金無料。これはありがたい、中華街まで歩いて5分、山下公園まで、5分、港の見える丘は目の前、景色は良いし。 宿泊は事前清算で、飲み物や追加料金はチェックアウト時に清算します。車は、土日祝日以外なら、チェックイン前からも駐車料金無料で駐車できます。部屋は昭和の名残が最高ですね。サービス、部屋の調度品を求めるなら不向きです、保養所と割り切り、コスパ重視の人には良いでしょう。

Came here in the evening, after a long day of walking with our Japanese friends. The place was nicely decorated and provided all the necessary amenities, such as shampoo, soap, yukata, towels (all included in the fee). We loved the open air bath where we could enjoy the Yokohama bay view at night. The sauna was also good to enjoy. Staff was friendly and helpful.

No good for families We booked a stay here at the end of our 2 week Japan holiday. We decided on this hotel in particular as it offered a swimming pool. Because of bed configuration we booked 2 rooms. Unfortunately we arrived to discover the swimming pool is only open from 3-8pm and anyone under 140cm (my 10 year old) is only welcomed until 6pm and must be accompanied in the water with an adult at all times. Anyone even entering the pool deck must be in a swimsuit. I feel this is simply to accommodate the social media vibe as every person on the deck was there for the selfies. We are leaving well before 3 tomorrow so our opportunity for taking a dip is limited. A brand new hotel that cannot accommodate a morning lap swim seems like a big miss to me. Onto the rooms. Tiny, and awkward with basins in the bedroom area rather than in the bathroom space. Odd. Shower also only has clear glass door so if you’re here for a romantic weekend with a partner that may be fine but families with teens wouldn’t mind a bit of privacy when showering. As mentioned earlier the room configuration with only twin beds meant we had to book two rooms. We did so but when we arrived they were unable to accommodate us on one floor. Again. Not family friendly. Four elevators service the guest rooms and they are crazy slow. With our family split over two floors it was endlessly frustrating. Yokohama was fabulous just wish we stayed at a different hotel.

ずっと泊まりたかったカハラホテルに、遂に泊まることが出来ました( ´∀｀) チェックインは、14階のロビーフロアへ案内していただきました。 ハワイのカハラとは、また違ったラグジュアリーさを感じられるインテリアで、曜日によりスタッフの方々がアロハシャツを着られていたりとハワイ気分でワクワクしました♪ 朝食は、イタリアンレストランOZIOでいただきました。 朝食はコース料理になっており、 味も量も満点！美味しいのはもちろんですが全てヒストリーナチュールのお皿で運ばれてきて、目で見ても楽しめました♪最後には楽しみにしていたシンパンケーキは とても美味しかったです。 何よりもスタッフの皆様がとても親切で快適に過ごすことが出来ました。また絶対に利用したいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

好久沒住過用這種傳統鑰匙的酒店了。晚飯前四處從酒店的建築和服務都能感到其90多年的底藴。我們吃完飯到中庭裏透氣，餐廳的服務生很貼心地追出來問我們要不要以庭院為背景拍個照，然後幫我們拍了合影。若説有什麼不會被人工智能代替，這種不即不離卻又讓人小小感動的服務大概是其中之一吧。

從石川町車站走大約7分鐘的路程，車站出口就是超市，飯店就在中華街裡面，還可以徒步走去看鋼彈，大約走15分鐘，我們到的時候還沒三點，櫃檯小姐讓我們寄放行李先去逛一逛，飯店房間不大，但打開一個大行李箱沒有問題，房間電視可惜只能看日本頻道，如果可以看youtube就更好了，但可以花1000円加購看影片，一樓有兩台洗衣機和兩台烘衣機，洗一次衣服三百円，烘半小時100，洗衣粉可以跟櫃檯買一包50円，但我覺得不好用，建議去超市買，飯店沒有提供水或者女性保養品（有洗面乳）整體來說是設備很簡單，但是價格實在優惠，cp值很高

まず、おしゃれなエントランスで写真を撮っていたらスタッフの方が「撮りましょうか」と声をかけてくださって、夫婦二人の写真を撮ることができたのがうれしかったです。 ダブルルームに宿泊しました。角部屋ではありませんでしたが、大きな窓が二つあり、狭いながらも明るく開放的な雰囲気で居心地がよかったです。 ベッドの頭側に全ての電気のスイッチがあり、寝転びながら操作できるのは快適でした。 バスソルトを自分で作るサービスも、本を借りて部屋で読むことができるサービスも、とても楽しく利用させていただきました。 お風呂場の換気扇が弱かったことと、部屋の鏡に縁取られたLEDライトがすぐ消えてしまうこと、が強いて言うなら気になりましたが 一泊素泊まりとはいえ、とてもお安い値段でここまで満足させてもらって良いのでしょうか、と思いました。横浜で泊まる時はまた利用させていただきます。ありがとうございました！

This hotel was a surprise. Very elegant lobby and the rooms were nice little small. Lot of places to eat very nice. 5 minutes walking from the Shin Yokohama station east gate. With the JR pass just hop on the Shinkansen to Tokyo Station and on to Akihabara for games and toys.
