Hotel was about a five minute walk from the train station. Hotel staff were extremely attentive and helpful at check in. Lobby was semi-spacious with some amenities and toiletries offered. Room was clean and larger than most Japanese hotel rooms. Only downside I would say is the hotel’s proximity to the railroad tracks…you do occasionally hear the trains as they pass. Not overbearing; however, you do hear them. With that being said, I would still stay at this hotel again.

Sangat dekat dengan Chinatown
Jangan ketinggalan pasar raya perniagaan berhampiran

For tourists it is close, maybe a quarter mile from JR and Tsurumi train station😀 Grocery store just up the same road😀 Food options close-by or farther out within easy walking distance😀 Check-In was easy and I anticipate check-out will be just as easy😀 Nice laundry area, three washers and dryers 😀 No folding table, they could have installed one on wall☹️ Older BW, but overall, kept clean and in good condition😀 Staff overall friendly, but much like Japanese, not engaging and communication is rough🤫 Was given 2 bottles of water when checking-in, which is BW standards😀 The one clerk who spoke English said to just ask for more each day. When we did, both times was told we needed to get out of vending machine😡 Room was NOT cleaned one day, We guess because we had don’t disturb sign on door till 10:10am until we left. They start their duties at 10am, I guess if they see sign at at that time, they pass you over for day😡 Three days, used coffee cups were not replaced😡 Overall, quiet around us for every night😀 Nice hot shower water with great pressure😀 TV is terrible, only CNN! Would be nice to at least have Japanese music channel😀 Beds were comfortable😀 No wash clothes, I was told they don’t use them here😳 We went out and bought our own bath Scrubby’s. Nice towels, you get two with two hand towels😬 No complementary coffee in the morning, that’s a first for us at BW😡 I hear good things about hot coffee vending machines here, put one in! Have breakfast for $1200 Yen I believe, did not try. We booked almost a month out, our room size was a large closet☹️ Simply had to walk sideways once you passed the bathroom door😡 Clothes had to be spread out on couch😡 Bathroom is SMALL☹️ The good news, we are discovering what Japan has to offer, so only in room to sleep🙄 Would I stay here again, “NO,” the amenities were just to week☹️ We are loyal BW guests and Diamond Select customers, we have come to expect a little more😬

Location of this hotel is quite close to railway station, just less than 3 mins walk from the nearest station, although quite far from the main town, the environment is less crowded and fewer tourists nearby, which could be a good choice. The room is also tidy, although the ventilation of toilet could be improved. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel is also mediocre, though not many choices, but taste is not bad.

PPengguna TetamuThe Intercontinental Yokohama Pier 8 is part of the Cruise Terminal Complex ”Yokohama Hammerhead”. If you are familiar with Cup Noodle museum, then it's right behind it. It's also a short 10 minute walk from the other Intercontinental: Yokohama Grand. The closest stations for both these hotels is the Minatomirai station on the Minatomirai line. If you are coming by JR, the closet station is Sakuragi-cho on the Keihin-Touhoku line and from there about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Yokohama Grand and a further 10 minutes to Pier 8. From the Hammerhead, you can clearly see the iconic fin shaped Intercontinental Yokohama Grand. It's in a good location with shops and restaurants in Yokohama Hammerhead, Marine & Walk and the famous Red Brick warehouse. The hotel is a rectangle building with an open area in the middle (garden) of the building from level 3. The ”outside” rooms are the City and Bay View rooms while the ”inside” rooms are the Garden View rooms. There's also a rooftop garden where you have a great view overlooking the bay and can just sit and relax in the sun. The staff were exceptional and the rooms amazing. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
PPengguna TetamuNo good for families We booked a stay here at the end of our 2 week Japan holiday. We decided on this hotel in particular as it offered a swimming pool. Because of bed configuration we booked 2 rooms. Unfortunately we arrived to discover the swimming pool is only open from 3-8pm and anyone under 140cm (my 10 year old) is only welcomed until 6pm and must be accompanied in the water with an adult at all times. Anyone even entering the pool deck must be in a swimsuit. I feel this is simply to accommodate the social media vibe as every person on the deck was there for the selfies. We are leaving well before 3 tomorrow so our opportunity for taking a dip is limited. A brand new hotel that cannot accommodate a morning lap swim seems like a big miss to me. Onto the rooms. Tiny, and awkward with basins in the bedroom area rather than in the bathroom space. Odd. Shower also only has clear glass door so if you’re here for a romantic weekend with a partner that may be fine but families with teens wouldn’t mind a bit of privacy when showering. As mentioned earlier the room configuration with only twin beds meant we had to book two rooms. We did so but when we arrived they were unable to accommodate us on one floor. Again. Not family friendly. Four elevators service the guest rooms and they are crazy slow. With our family split over two floors it was endlessly frustrating. Yokohama was fabulous just wish we stayed at a different hotel.
BBinuI booked for my brother and family. They enjoyed the beautiful view of Yokohama bay bridge. Good thing about trip is that it provides detailed information about the room before booking which is better than the hotel s official website or other online booking.
PPengguna TetamuWe booked a Standard Double Room and were upgraded to a Club King as Bonvoy Platinum members. Our first impressions of the hotel were big, beautiful, convenient, but with minimal and stingy service. The Club King room was very nice, modern, quite large with a sofa and desk, and spacious bath. And very clean with lots of amenities. Bed was excellent. Location is very good with direct access to the station, shops, restaurants, and Takashimaya Department Store. Platinum Elite members can check in at the Club Lounge. The lounge is not too large, and I imagine it being very busy on weekends or holidays. Refreshments throughout the day are extremely minimal, just drinks and very light snacks like cookies and crackers (I would definitely not describe this as ”afternoon hors d’oeuvres” as stated on their website). The evening cocktail service is a bit more expansive with salad, 4-5 hot dishes, and dessert. I requested something vegetarian as there was nothing besides salad, and they were able to prepare a steamed vegetable plate and tiny fruit plate which were delicious but not filling, and nothing compared to the regular options available. When asked if it might be possible to prepare a main dish (something with more carbs), I was told they could either give me plain white rice or plain penne pasta with no sauce, I was told to add salt and pepper for flavor. Seriously? Would anyone feel pleased with such an offering? I obviously refused, and was left with a bitter feeling for the rest of our stay. Note that this property does not acknowledge the Marriott Platinum “Guaranteed 4 p.m. Late Checkout” benefit. We stayed on a Sunday, checking out the following Monday (not a holiday, and definitely not a peak day) but were denied late check out, only given 1:00. For a previous reservation, once again checking out on a non-peak Monday, we were also completely denied late check out (only standard 12:00 check out). To the Management of the Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, I have a simple question, do you offer 4 p.m. late check-out to your Platinum Members? This is a major deciding factor for Platinum Members in choosing your hotel. Breakfast was not available in the Club Lounge, but in the buffet restaurant Compass. (Another clear indication that the Club Floor was not very busy, so why no late check out?) Breakfast here was nice, not an expansive selection, but a decent selection of both Japanese and Western dishes (but few or no vegetarian options). The orange juicer machine was especially good. Overall, this is a very nice hotel, but it does not feel like a Sheraton property as they deny Bonvoy Elite benefits when they see fit, and the service is not that of an international hotel. Elite Members are not treated as such. It feels more like a Japanese hotel that’s a step or two behind international standards. I really hope things improve as the hotel itself is very nice and we’d like to visit Yokohama again soon.
PPengguna TetamuThe room was very clean, perfect location nearby subway station and walking distance to all tourist spots and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was great and customer service was great. Would stay again next time.
HHakucho NezumiHotel is very nice, well kept. Room was great. Bathroom was great too. Staff are courteous and helpful. Location was great. Near the train station, near the subway. Area is bustling, lots of eating places and a Create store (mini department store) is right beside the hotel. Big department stores and malls are also maybe 5 mins walk. Only negative for me was that the British pub in front of the hotel was just brimming with loud drinking people the Friday night that we arrived. The next 3 nights were alright as the area was relatively quiet. Still lots of people about but that was more reassuring than scary as they didn’t appear drunk.
헤헤수스Really easy to get there from the subway station. The location is good because there are many places to eat and drink, it is also close to the Bus terminal in case you are planing to take a night bus to another city. Department Stores and PKM center also around the area. The Capsules are wide and clean, you have TV, headphones, light, etc. You also get pajamas, which are soft and big. They give you a locker witha key, you can sotre your shoes, bag, etc you need for the day, and also you have a room to store your big bags. The brathroom were clean, and also they have separate room with mirrors next to the locker rooms for you to shave, do makeup, etc you need. The sauna and showers are located in the 1st floor, you get a big and a small towel. Inside you can find shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, etc. Finally, check out is really easy and they let you keep your bags in the sotrage room after check out, but i would recomend to ask for how long they can keep them. I defenitively recommend this place for short or long stay.
PPengguna TetamuNice to set my foot again to this hotel. It was the hotel accommodation I booked during my first trip in Japan. Still the same except they dont offer breakfast . The staffs are friendly and helpful.
SSaikhnaa AmarsaikhanThe location is great being very close to Kannai station, the room was clean if small, the price was reasonable and the Wi-Fi was OK. I had two issues during my stay:
1. During my check in, the staff kept asking me if I wanted to leave my luggage. I had no idea where this was coming from and I said I’ll take my luggage to my room. They asked me about two more times if they could keep my luggage. After this, I said no I had no luggage even though I literally had it next to me. Then they said “Ah OK, we apologize for our misunderstanding” and then gave us our key. What was this all about?
2. They don’t allow you leave your luggage after you check out. In all my life, this was the only place that had this policy.
