價格偏高，設備很好

こちらは、徳島駅から徒歩4分くらいにあるホテルです。 ホテルは普通に綺麗です。 チェックインのため2 階のフロントへ‥‥フロントは普通に良い対応でした。 カードキーと朝食券をいただき、部屋へ。 シングルで予約しましたが、ツインルームの普通の広さで、バス・トイレも普通でアメニティーと部屋内の付帯設備も普通で、スリッパは使い捨です。 ベッドも普通で、寝間着はガウン、枕は普通に良かったです。 朝食はかなりの和洋の品数で、徳島名産の料理も何品かあり、美味しくいただきました。（ここの朝食会場はアグネスホテルの宿泊者も利用します） 駅近、便利、静か、綺麗なホテルでした。

The hotel is just located on the left side of the station. It’s really wonderful. There is also a convenience store located at the ground floor which also makes our lives so much easier. The room (Hollywood twin) is a large and spacious room that can easily accommodate the opening of 2 large suitcases (28 inch). The bathroom is also generous in space, and we could actually move around freely and change clothes in the toilet for once (as compared to other chain hotels in Japan). It has all the comforts and amenities of a proper graded hotel, but the air conditioning was poor. Opened the windows but still felt a little warm throughout the night. The other minor “issue” I observed was how they tried to “automate” the check-in which is a failure in my opinion. Automation is to reduce workflow/ manual work required by parties. However in this case, I had to go to the reception desk for them to make copies of our passport and issue a card (to be used at the check-in machine). Thereafter I have to walk to the machine and insert the card, press a bunch of buttons to be issued the room and room key. So from a customer perspective I’m actually troubled twice, because I need to make 2 stops before actually getting my room. So what’s the point of this check-in machine? Fail to see the benefits of it.

The Hotel is right on top of Japan Railway Tokushima Station and one minute walk from the main bus terminal in Tokushima, too. Very convenient not only to explore the city of Tokushima, but also to explore Tokushima's rich nature and culture, still hidden gem in Japan. Hotel was built about 30 years ago but it is well maintained and rooms are spacious compared with more recent ones. Hotel staffs are very courteous. It forms a part of the station building where you can find many restaurants with Japanese and local flavors as well as souvenir shops.

阿波おどり観覧として、当ホテル利用。 ベッドの良さは、普通、悪くない。 エアコン表示、ルームランプ表示が英語。 古い施設とはいえ、わかりにくい。エアコン設定、ルームランプ表示などが。 部屋に一人用丸テーブルと長めの机あり。そのうえにテレビあり。タイプC対応の充電ケーブルなどがあるのがありがたく、3コ口充電コンセプトがある。ミニ冷蔵庫もあり。WAOWAOが無料視聴できる。 シングルでも17.6㎡と広め。サンダルあり。 クローゼット収納あり。ハンガー３本。リセッシュあり。 ユニットバスである。浴槽は狭くはない。プリンスホテルほど広い訳てわはない。 スーツケース置きはある。少し小型。空気清浄機あり。バスタオル、フェイスタオル厚め。これはプリンセスホテル並みかと。 ロビーにすだちの無料ドリンクがある。 積極は普通。いい人もいるから。 道路跨ぐため二階に渡り廊下あり、そこはエアコンなし。効いていない。渡り廊下先に２階に朝食会場あり。朝食はバイキング式。コロナ対策あり。品数多い。味は普通。 阿波おどりの会場、徳島駅前まで1.7キロくらい。徒歩25分くらい。ロビーの人に交通手段聞いたら、バスは隣の県庁前にあるが、一時間に一本。タクシーも混むから、皆さん徒歩で行くという。真夏の夕方17時に出たが、まだ暑い。 1.7キロ25分歩き、汗、ダクダク！ アミコという商業施設でやすんだが、液近場のホテルに比べたら、体力戻らない！ だから、藍場浜の演舞見たあとも、少し無料の演舞場、両国橋演舞場かな？小さい踊り場？ももまわったが、無料の演舞周りにひとだかりで隙間からしか見えない状態なので、阿波踊り歩行者天国区域を歩いて、通り抜けて帰ったほどだ！駅近場、タクシーを提案してくれたら、もっとよく見れた！ 交通規制は18時からなので、17時ならば、タクシーでも混んでいなかった。ロビーの人の対応の浅はかさを感じる。めんどくさいと思ったと思う。ないな。効率化を強く求めるホテルと感じたが、浅はかだと思う。真夏に25分歩かせるのが普通だと考えるスタッフ意識に、当ホテルの危うさを感じる。また阿波おどり観に行くなら、わからないがスマイルホテル徳島などを利用するかもしれない。 今回当ホテルを選んだのは、駅前のホテルに駐車できるか？心配だったから。当ホテルは平面、立体合わせて２００台くらいあり、無料だったから。考え、悩みどころである。

During our road trip throughout Western Japan, we needed to spend the night after touring Kochi but before heading to Tomonoura (near Fukuyama in Northern Hiroshima Prefecture.) Looking on the map, and after extensive research, we were hopeful that Asan Kotonami would hit all the right buttons as a luxury Onsen (natural hot springs) ryokan with a mountain retreat vibe and good food. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It's about a 30 minute drive from Kotohira-gu (aka Konpira-san), which is the nearest major tourist attraction. Since we had our own car, there was not much effort in getting here, but accessibility to Asan Kotonami might be a bit more challenging if one resorted strictly to public transportation. In any case, if you're looking for something that's not a large, city hotel and is relatively luxurious, there are few (if any) other options - in fact, I'd say that Asan Kotonami might turn out to be the de-facto choice in this regard. First off, it's a gorgeous ryokan - it's in a picturesque location nestled in a mountainous area of rural Kagawa Prefecture. It's modern but done with a simplistic yet stylish Japanese aesthetic that will please many people. Unlike many luxury ryokans, however, Asan Kotonami is relatively new - it was built in 2017, meaning it is not worn down in any way. We loved the modern Japanese architecture, furnishings and decor, and the fact that it was in a remote location surrounded by nature. Thumbs up. We stayed in the ”Type F” room, which is described as a Japanese-Western room with Open-Air Bath. It's Western in that the bedroom has two beds and a couch. The ”living” area is Japanese in that you either sit on the floor, or on an oddly shaped and very low ”chair.” I guess you can call the living room being more Japanese than Western, but it's definitely Japanese in that it's a tiny room. Overall, it's uncomfortable and unusable, which was a shame, because I often need to work late at night, meaning we prefer a nice living room (for work) and a separate bedroom with sufficient noise insulation. Asan Kotonami didn't have that here, unfortunately. The room only had one sink, which is a drawback for a luxury property that was newly built less than 5 years ago. On the positive side, the open-air outdoor Onsen (natural hot springs) bath on our room terrace was fantastic, and internet was very speedy. In addition to the Onsen our room, Asan Kotonami also had among the nicest communal (gender-segregated) ”Daiyokujo” Onsen baths that we've ever experienced. It's almost Disneyland-like in that it's stylish, expansive and has several indoor and outdoor bathing options. It's possible that the property gets an abundance of the hot spring water directly from the source, because they certainly don't make any effort to preserve it. Modern backpacker place near Tokushima station. I stayed there several times already, this time we had one of the private rooms, the little apartment which had plenty of space. Breakfast is not served but you can get your own food at a konbini nearby. Staff speaks English.
