We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights for ski holiday and the experience was awful. We’ve travelled so many countries in the world and numerous prestigious hotels in Japan, the service from Koike and Tomizawa were so awful and unacceptable. On Dec 24, 2024 morning around 9am, we tried to get into our car parked at the hotel, but noticed the car was fully covered by thick snow. We came to the bell service to ask for a brush to remove the snow. As the snow was about 40-50cm thick, it was extremely difficult to remove. A gentleman from the desk came with a shovel and kindly offered his help as my wife and my daughter who was sick have been waiting for more than 20 minutes. As the gentleman began to help, he received a call from his manager Koike asking him to stop helping me and must go back. I was really shocked by what he told me and went back to the desk asking Koike why he called him back and why he shouldn’t help me. To my astonishment, Koike told me this wasn’t his service. ***! He would rather stand by the door doing nothing rather than helping the hotel guests who really needed a hand??? What kind of cold blood person? How come this so called ‘family hotel’ treated the guests like this? He even hitting my hand to stop me typing his name on my own phone and removed his name badge straight away!! His manager Tomizawa came out and kept saying all Japanese that no one could understand him. Such a low service at this hotel, will never visit again!!
