Wir haben verschiedene Unterkünfte in Zagreb ausprobiert, aber das neueröffnete art‘otel Zagreb hat uns am besten gefallen. Es hat eine tolle, umhüllende Atmosphäre, auch dank der Freundlichkeit, Kompetenz und Präsens des Personals. Ein gelungenes Gestaltungskonzept - eine raffinierte Mischung von Design und Kunst -durchzieht konsequent das gesamte Hotel. Auch die Zimmer und Badezimmer (!). Einfach Super! Das reiche und frische Frühstücksbuffet, ergänzt durch ein Extramenü, ist toll angerichtet und wirklich sehr lecker. Zur Entspannung gibt es einen Spabereich mit Sauna und Pool ( den wir mehrmals genutzt haben ) und die Bar. Alles ist super sauber und gepflegt. In Kürze gibt es auch ein vielversprechendes Restaurant und eine Rooftop-Bar mit Blick auf Zagreb. Wie freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Ich kenne das Hotel schon seit vielen, vielen Jahren, seit sicherlich 2005 und habe dort sicherlich schon einige Dutzend Mal genächtigt. Zuletzt vor etwa 2 Jahren. Aber so abgewohnt wie das Hotel heute ist, verdientes nicht mehr den Namen WestIn, denn es entspricht nicht dem hohen Niveau, welches mit dem Namen Marriott verbunden ist. Als sogenannter ”Prefered Guest” wird mir nicht, so wie üblich beim Einchecken die Creditkarten Sicherheit abverlangt, nein, es wurde der Sicherstellunsgbetrag gleich in voller Höhe abgebucht. Beim Check-out wurde der gesamte Rechnungsbetrag nochmals in kompletter Höhe abgebucht. Erst nach vehementer Reklamation wurde mir der Sicherstellungsbetrag wieder gutgeschrieben. So ein (schlechtes) Service habe ich noch in keinem Hotel erlebt und schon gar nicht bei Starwoods- Marriott, wo ich bereits mehr als 200 Buchungen hatte. Das Zimmer und insbesondere das Badezimmer mehr als abgewohnt. Allein die Kleiderbügel würden in einem 3* Hotel bereits im Abfall landen. Auch mit der Sicherheit nimmt man es in diesem Haus nicht sehr ernst. Der Aufzug kann von Jedermann benutz werden. Es wird keine Zimmerkarte abverlangt. Somit kann jeder von der öffentlichen Garage bis zu jedem einzelnem Stockwerk ungesehen die Etagen aufsuchen und hat freien Zugang zu allen Zimmen. Meim Wunsch, ein Zimmer mit Blick auf Altstadt wurde auch nicht entsprochen. Somit ist für mich alles klar. Ich werde nie mehr im Westin Zagreb nächtigen. Sicherheit Null und abgewohnt mit Investment Stau.

Good location close to the main square and large shady park. It's a very busy street but this room was on the back side and quiet, they may not even have any rooms on the street side. This was a private room with a double bed and shared bath. Shared bath was small where the sink is but shower is roomy. Always was clean, and shared by only a couple of rooms. Didn't see the dorm rooms. There are also private rooms with private bath offered. At the time of this visit an organized breakfast wasn't offered but cold cereal and fruit was available 24/7 in the common kitchen, and instant coffee 24/7. The espresso machine required a staff member to operate and the desk isn't staffed except during the day generally. There's a sitting area with couch and chair and a dining area with tables and chairs. There was no air conditioner in this room and it was unusually hot in Zagreb during the stay. At night with the windows open it was comfortable, but very warm otherwise in the room during the day. Very nice owners.

Very nice hotel,very clean.all staff are very nice,transportation is very convenient to all tourists attractions,only the breakfast not too many food to choices,we been having 3 nights dinner in the restaurant,staff in restaurant is very nice too,very good service.one of the staff told us,he said that’s the last night he working there, he have to change to the other restaurant,because he saw us continue 3 nights for dinner there , and we told him, we’re the last night dinner here too ,we back home tomorrow,we both laughed,we both reluctant to leave.

I recommend this hotel as it is very well placed to wander around Zagreb. It is clean, very good breakfast and the staff not just friendly but very helpful. When you have had a wonderful holiday it is always easy to write a good review but my review is based upon yes a lovely holiday but it had to be cut short by five days - I got quite ill and had to return to London. The response by staff could not have been better or more kind. Not only did they help me get organised to leave but they also waived the cost of the 5 days. They did not have to do this but chose to help and support me. So I cannot speak more highly of this Hotel and its staff. And thank them so very much for making this difficult time more manageable fr me. So this review in not simple about the physical attributes of this very well placed hotel but evolves from the leadership and priorities of the Hotel and staff to fundamentally serve its customers. This room was perfect for my stay in Zagreb. The location is within walking distance of everything you want to see in the city. The room is clean and even has a stove and all kitchen utensils in case you want to eat on some days you’re there. On the last day, we went to the National Park and had nowhere to store our baggage the guy at the front desk held our stuff till 8 pm and worked extra so we could come to pick them up!! Great sat highly recommended!!
