Very old hotel but everything is good. Location is near to all the main attractions

薩格勒布海濱酒店Esplanade Zagreb Hotel,建於1925年，早年因舉辦***會而留下了放浪名聲，後來則成為中歐的名流匯聚之地，從希區柯克到科波拉，從伊莉莎白泰勒到索菲亞羅蘭都曾下榻於此. 酒店餐廳Zinfandel，早年這裏接待過許多叱詫風雲的政治家——赫魯曉夫在此品嘗鴨子，尼克鬆嘗試了皇室小牛肉，伊麗莎白女王吃完達爾馬提亞風格的鯛魚後向廚師贈送了一枚金幣以示感謝。

Ich kenne das Hotel schon seit vielen, vielen Jahren, seit sicherlich 2005 und habe dort sicherlich schon einige Dutzend Mal genächtigt. Zuletzt vor etwa 2 Jahren. Aber so abgewohnt wie das Hotel heute ist, verdientes nicht mehr den Namen WestIn, denn es entspricht nicht dem hohen Niveau, welches mit dem Namen Marriott verbunden ist. Als sogenannter ”Prefered Guest” wird mir nicht, so wie üblich beim Einchecken die Creditkarten Sicherheit abverlangt, nein, es wurde der Sicherstellunsgbetrag gleich in voller Höhe abgebucht. Beim Check-out wurde der gesamte Rechnungsbetrag nochmals in kompletter Höhe abgebucht. Erst nach vehementer Reklamation wurde mir der Sicherstellungsbetrag wieder gutgeschrieben. So ein (schlechtes) Service habe ich noch in keinem Hotel erlebt und schon gar nicht bei Starwoods- Marriott, wo ich bereits mehr als 200 Buchungen hatte. Das Zimmer und insbesondere das Badezimmer mehr als abgewohnt. Allein die Kleiderbügel würden in einem 3* Hotel bereits im Abfall landen. Auch mit der Sicherheit nimmt man es in diesem Haus nicht sehr ernst. Der Aufzug kann von Jedermann benutz werden. Es wird keine Zimmerkarte abverlangt. Somit kann jeder von der öffentlichen Garage bis zu jedem einzelnem Stockwerk ungesehen die Etagen aufsuchen und hat freien Zugang zu allen Zimmen. Meim Wunsch, ein Zimmer mit Blick auf Altstadt wurde auch nicht entsprochen. Somit ist für mich alles klar. Ich werde nie mehr im Westin Zagreb nächtigen. Sicherheit Null und abgewohnt mit Investment Stau.

Very good 5 star hotel Its location is approximately 8 minutes from the city center by taxi, in a quiet, upscale area away from the crowds and disturbances. Great reception and quick room delivery. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautiful furniture. The bed is very large and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, complete with standing shower and bathtub. Good price for luxury and services

Very nice hotel,very clean.all staff are very nice,transportation is very convenient to all tourists attractions,only the breakfast not too many food to choices,we been having 3 nights dinner in the restaurant,staff in restaurant is very nice too,very good service.one of the staff told us,he said that’s the last night he working there, he have to change to the other restaurant,because he saw us continue 3 nights for dinner there , and we told him, we’re the last night dinner here too ,we back home tomorrow,we both laughed,we both reluctant to leave.

Stayed at Hotel International with a Costsaver/Trafalgar group tour on June 18, 19, 26. A very good location as it is situated in a quiet area but if you walk 20 minutes you are in the center of the action of Zagreb with parks, restaurants and shops. Just around the corner from the hotel is the Milnar Bakery. You can find all kinds of delicious baked goods to take on the go and very reasonable. Tried the tasty Mexican Chicken Roll 11 Kuna and the Burek with Apple 10 Kuna. They open at 5:30am and closed on Sunday. At the Hotel International their breakfast buffet is very good. They open at 6:30 am which can give you an early start to your day. A very good choice of breakfast dishes-scrambled eggs which were so tasty AND NOT WATERY, bacon, zuccini, assortment of cheeses and cold cut meats and so many other choices, delicious assortment of breads and rolls. Those rolls with the seeds, out of this world delicious. Wish I new what those rolls with the pumpkin seeds are called as would love to buy them back home in Canada. They also had fresh fruits and a nice display of fruit cocktail. They have a dispenser that you can get juices and cold water. The fruit juice was very refreshing. The room was on the small side but it served its purpose. The room and bathroom very clean. I liked the idea that the bathroom had a packaged soap provided as I found out in other hotels that the soap dispensers are so hard to squeeze out the liquid soap. It was great that the room had a fridge and there was a complimentary 1 liter bottle of cold water in the fridge.

Nosotros nos levantamos por el sonido del tranvía pasando al lado

The name “Central Hotel” is a bit misleading because the city center is not nearby. It’s perhaps walkable, but the street to the center is not inviting for a stroll. The hotel is across the street from the train station, and next to a city park which looked lovely. The front desk staff recommended a restaurant nearby which was delicious. Our room was oddly configured, with a twin bed at opposite sides of the room reminiscent of a dorm room.

Stayed for 3 nights in room 8. The hostel is towards the north-west end of Zagreb centre and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. You could take a tram as well. I thought the hostel was difficult to find, unless you happen to see the sign on the side wall. The entrance from the main street leads to a courtyard and the hostel building is at the end of a courtyard. A sign on the street facing wall would've been more visible. Check in was straightforward and the staff took me to the room after the formalities of paying the city tourist tax. The room was located in a basement, via the kitchen and common area. The kitchen had a microwave, cooker and utensils. The room had two bunks opposite each other, a private bathroom, lockers, two small chairs and a low table. Lockers were provided, but you'll need your own padlock. The floor was bare concrete. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Both the room and bathroom were nicely cleaned everyday. The room had a window which opened up to the courtyard, at pedestrian level. As the hostel has a bar and it's close to the street, it can get noisy. The bunk bed was sturdy and barely felt my bunkmate. The mattress was the foam type, which I thought was maybe upside down as the ridges were facing up. To be honest, I thought the mattress was too thin. I could feel the wooden frame underneath. The WiFi could be inconsistent in the room, but works better in the common areas. Location wise, the hostel is to the west of the main sights, but within easy walking distance. The hostel does provide a separately paid for breakfast and even a free coffee machine, but there's plenty of bakeries and cafes around. Overall, I had a comfortable stay. The staff are okay, facilities good and the location was within reasonable walking distance from everything

This place is not very attractive from the outside, and worse on the inside. The location near shops, restaurants and attractions is good - but not worth the discomfort. You enter into what looks like a shopping mall - there’s a small market at the entrance, but reception is up a flight of stairs. (There is an elevator in the parking garage if you drive in.) The room is roomy but looks outdated and drab. The worst part is the air conditioning - as other reviews indicate dating back years - is a stupid and ineffective system. The front desk controls it, and our repeated calls down to the staff never improved the temperature. The room is hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. Do NOT stay here! If it were ME booking the room, instead of a tour company, I would have read the reviews and gone elsewhere. This place is awful. One star for location.
