Hotel berhampiran Take Me Home, Zagreb

Wir haben verschiedene Unterkünfte in Zagreb ausprobiert, aber das neueröffnete art‘otel Zagreb hat uns am besten gefallen. Es hat eine tolle, umhüllende Atmosphäre, auch dank der Freundlichkeit, Kompetenz und Präsens des Personals. Ein gelungenes Gestaltungskonzept - eine raffinierte Mischung von Design und Kunst -durchzieht konsequent das gesamte Hotel. Auch die Zimmer und Badezimmer (!). Einfach Super! Das reiche und frische Frühstücksbuffet, ergänzt durch ein Extramenü, ist toll angerichtet und wirklich sehr lecker. Zur Entspannung gibt es einen Spabereich mit Sauna und Pool ( den wir mehrmals genutzt haben ) und die Bar. Alles ist super sauber und gepflegt. In Kürze gibt es auch ein vielversprechendes Restaurant und eine Rooftop-Bar mit Blick auf Zagreb. Wie freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado .Cerca del centro de la ciudad (veinte minutos andando y en linea recta) por lo que no tiene perdida La habitacion en la que me hospede ,era limpia, igua lde limpio el cuarto de baño ,silenciosa , y buenas vistas al exterior.El desayuno muy bueno.Al igual que la cena (que en mi caso fue bufet libre)

很舊，還能住！千萬注意前台會亂收費，明明已經在攜程上交完錢了，寫明包括所有稅費，前台又是希望你付押金，又是要再付城市稅！我看過點評根本不敢付押金，結果交了城市稅，還得通過攜程要求退回來！現在離開了一天了還沒有退回來呢！！！？

Where do I start we are two maturer people M61/F59 and was both slightly apprehensive about staying in a hostel, on arrival we was greeted by a girl on reception who was very informative, pointed out lots of things on the map she gave us and other general information, she seemed genuinely interested in advising us about things to see and do, she then informed us that our room was in the adjacent building and came with us to show us the access etc, the room was big and was ideal for our stay also very quiet and the bed was super comfy, the following morning we went down for breakfast which was more than adequate and whatever you ordered was freshly made a great way to start the day, the location was fantastic so easy to get to other parts of the city with regular trams passing on the street outside, a few nights we came back and went in the very smart bar area, the staff was friendly and the drinks was good we always ended up chatting to other people who was stopping there and everybody seemed very happy with their stay, we absolutely loved our stay and would stay there again when next back in Zagreb. Thank you to all the staff at Swanky mint.

This room was perfect for my stay in Zagreb. The location is within walking distance of everything you want to see in the city. The room is clean and even has a stove and all kitchen utensils in case you want to eat on some days you’re there. On the last day, we went to the National Park and had nowhere to store our baggage the guy at the front desk held our stuff till 8 pm and worked extra so we could come to pick them up!! Great sat highly recommended!!

Ich kenne das Hotel schon seit vielen, vielen Jahren, seit sicherlich 2005 und habe dort sicherlich schon einige Dutzend Mal genächtigt. Zuletzt vor etwa 2 Jahren. Aber so abgewohnt wie das Hotel heute ist, verdientes nicht mehr den Namen WestIn, denn es entspricht nicht dem hohen Niveau, welches mit dem Namen Marriott verbunden ist. Als sogenannter ”Prefered Guest” wird mir nicht, so wie üblich beim Einchecken die Creditkarten Sicherheit abverlangt, nein, es wurde der Sicherstellunsgbetrag gleich in voller Höhe abgebucht. Beim Check-out wurde der gesamte Rechnungsbetrag nochmals in kompletter Höhe abgebucht. Erst nach vehementer Reklamation wurde mir der Sicherstellungsbetrag wieder gutgeschrieben. So ein (schlechtes) Service habe ich noch in keinem Hotel erlebt und schon gar nicht bei Starwoods- Marriott, wo ich bereits mehr als 200 Buchungen hatte. Das Zimmer und insbesondere das Badezimmer mehr als abgewohnt. Allein die Kleiderbügel würden in einem 3* Hotel bereits im Abfall landen. Auch mit der Sicherheit nimmt man es in diesem Haus nicht sehr ernst. Der Aufzug kann von Jedermann benutz werden. Es wird keine Zimmerkarte abverlangt. Somit kann jeder von der öffentlichen Garage bis zu jedem einzelnem Stockwerk ungesehen die Etagen aufsuchen und hat freien Zugang zu allen Zimmen. Meim Wunsch, ein Zimmer mit Blick auf Altstadt wurde auch nicht entsprochen. Somit ist für mich alles klar. Ich werde nie mehr im Westin Zagreb nächtigen. Sicherheit Null und abgewohnt mit Investment Stau.

Good location close to the main square and large shady park. It's a very busy street but this room was on the back side and quiet, they may not even have any rooms on the street side. This was a private room with a double bed and shared bath. Shared bath was small where the sink is but shower is roomy. Always was clean, and shared by only a couple of rooms. Didn't see the dorm rooms. There are also private rooms with private bath offered. At the time of this visit an organized breakfast wasn't offered but cold cereal and fruit was available 24/7 in the common kitchen, and instant coffee 24/7. The espresso machine required a staff member to operate and the desk isn't staffed except during the day generally. There's a sitting area with couch and chair and a dining area with tables and chairs. There was no air conditioner in this room and it was unusually hot in Zagreb during the stay. At night with the windows open it was comfortable, but very warm otherwise in the room during the day. Very nice owners.

Amazing well-located hotel that exudes the old world charm. Fascinating story about how it started (It was built for passengers of the Orient Express in 1925), Well appointed room with good facilities and a nice selection of TV channels globally. It features several fine-dining restaurant and bistro. One day we had breakfast at Le Bistro before leaving for the airport. It took one of the dishes a bit longer to come in and unexpectedly the restaurant waived the bill for us. It’s a very thoughtful gesture.

Not convenient to travel to the city centre but close to the airport and malls (arena and avenue). Overall, good and clean hotel with friendly receptionist.

The experience I had with 3 other friends was far from ideal. The rooms were not like the ones we booked but in the end, we couldn't prove otherwise. It might have been your fault or just tricky options through external websites. Nonetheless, one of the rooms should have been ready for 3 people and it wasn't prepared at all. Plus, the one room for 3 was smaller than the one for 1 person. Though we knew they would be similar, it was supposed to be the other way round. Apart from that, the woman that was there to receive us was extremely patient and tried her best to provide solutions for us. Important to mention that we arrived fifteen minutes past midnight, and she was still there and stayed for almost an hour trying to check the booking information and finally prepare the room for the 3 people. The facilities in the room were good enough for one night. The double beds were very soft and not very comfortable for us. The bath was incredibly huge and somehow tempting, but it has very high (about 1 metre high!) so not very inclusive I would say. Even I, a perfectly healthy and sporty young adult had some difficulties getting inside. The food in the breakfast was the average diversity and quantity, with few alternatives to non-meat eaters. Though, the eggs for instance were already cold around 9 a.m.
