They fool you with the photos. When I booked this room the photos of the room were with a pool. The same day as our check-in, it turned out that our room did not have a pool. For a premium suite it was tiny. Then there are spectacular photos of the food and it is nothing like the hotel. There are photos with tables in the garden…I never saw them…
The hotel food was quite bad, the meat was hard and dry. They barely replenish.
As for cleaning...it leaves a lot to be desired...they didn't clean our bathroom or replace the gels. We had dirty tea glasses in the room our entire stay…
We stayed in a Premium Suite…it was not what we expected…

We had such a great 5-day stay at Meandros Hotel, and it’s an experience we’ll always remember! Our room was amazing, with a jacuzzi and overlooking the pool and the sea in the background. From the moment we got there, receptionist Sofia greeted us with a big smile and made checking in super easy, as well as the welcome drinks were super tasty and refreshing after the long journey. We had breakfast and dinner included in our stay. Everyday there are plenty of choices and menu changes, need to note that it is a small hotel, so buffet options are limited, since it is only 40 something rooms, so don’t expect a big resort buffet, but even with that - there was plenty of choices. Pool area big with a lots of spaces and comfortable sunbeds as well as snack bar with a great foods and selection of drinks, during a day we loved staying inside the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect too, 5 minutes walk away from the beautiful turquoise blue water beach with an option of renting sunbeds at the beach. There were plenty of restaurants, shops, and places to rent things nearby, all within walking distance. It made getting around so easy! A huge thank-you to all of the hotel team for her incredible service— all of the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Would deffo want to return.

First of the island of Zakynthos is an absolutely beautiful island! We traveled from Texas USA Me and my now fiancé In August where i proposed here on a boat tour provided by Ian robert’s the concierge at the meandros hotel, Mr Robert’s set up a private transfer from the airport to the hotel and set everything up for our lovely stay, I was able to communicate with him via whatsapp 2 weeks prior to arrival and he made sure i was taking care of! Amazing experience and all the staff at the hotel was very welcoming and nice each and every day! I would recommend this place 10/10 as their is a beach 5 min walk down the road and their are restaurants and bars all around.

We booked a hottub room for our mini honeymoon and it did not disappoint. We got to the hotel and paid €70 tourist tax and €10 to get into our room earlier which we really didn't mind to be honest! The room was 408 and was huge! Lovely views of the mountains and sea. The balcony was also very big and the hottub was perfect! We were in it each night before we went down for tea. All of the staff were lovely and I thought the food was good too with plenty of choice but not too much. The residents cats were my favourite though 🥰 and all of the cats in the small strip of road by the hotel (crazy cat lady over here!) The hotel and pool area was clean and well kept and we used the spa area for a private spa session with a floating tray with fruit, cake and prosseco to treat ourselves and the spa staff were so lovely! There was a lot of noise each night from the live bar Antonis so bring ear plugs! Luckily it does only last an hour! All in all we had a lovely time and would recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

We stayed here for 10 nights end of July/beginning of August and highly rated this lovely hotel. Ian the concierge made sure our break started really well, picking us up from the airport and giving us lots of information. He made it clear that we could WhatsApp him about anything, which we did. The room was a jacuzzi room, which we really enjoyed after a day in the sun with the temperature turned down. The partially open bathroom with 2 sinks was great and the bed and air con great. The swimming pool was heated which we haven’t had in Greece before. This was lovely because we made much more use of it as a result. We found the sun bed situation perfect, never struggled, lots of good parasols too, one per couple. We had the occasional frappe coffee by the pool which was fab. The breakfast and evening meal was of good quality and variety and drinks very reasonable. We really enjoyed the lunches at the pool bar and the staff were great in both restaurants. We would have preferred the option of B & B because we like to eat at several restaurants, which because of the great position on the old “strip” was really easy. We ate at the Uranus restaurant one evening and that was well worth the extra, great food, service, sunsets etc. 20% off as we were residents made it very accessible. We asked Ian about a sunset boat trip which friends of ours had recommended. The companies Ian uses didn’t offer one, but he said to leave it with him. He then sourced one for us and it was incredible, Ian is worth his weight in gold and it was lovely that he took us back to the airport too. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was immaculate we loved it. Kalamaki has something for everyone, we preferred the old strip where the hotel is situated. We ate at The Cotton Club which was well worth a visit, The Cave bar for a drink or two and La Luna bar was our favourite for fabulous cocktails.

As a couple in their 50's, we just returned from a lovely holiday to Zante and stayed in the Meandros hotel as an adult only choice. The rooms - We paid for a premium room, which in reality was a larger than average size room with a couch (which we never used). The room had a large cupboard with a hanging rail and a shelf which was too high for me at 5' 2", but no chest of drawers in the room. The beds were comfy and they had good pillows. We also had a decent size balcony, however, this was on the dull side of the hotel and it only got the sun in early evening, so again never used as mosquitos tend to be coming out in evenings. The bathroom was dated and the noise late at night from other pubs etc, blasted through the bathroom window. The noise outside early in the morning mainly came from the local cockerels as it's a field next to the hotel and also cleaning staff with trolleys going past, so if you are someone who is not looking to go out to entertainment, then this hotel is not for you as you will hear it anyway and then be woken early with dogs, chickens etc. No signal on the on the only British TV channel. There are other rooms with their own personal swim up rooms and some that overlook the main pool or the sunny side of the hotel, so I'm not sure how they are allocated as we had paid for a premium suite!! The pool is gorgeous and the hotel is immaculate, outdoor bar is good for relaxing in and the staff are extremely helpful. The cleaning staff work hard to keep everything spotless and the restaurant is clean, but quite small, although there is an outdoor seating area too (however, you take the risk of mosquito bites if eating outdoor at dinner time). Breakfast was between 7am - 10.30am and dinner was 7pm - 9.30pm. We personally got a bit fed up of the food as it was all much the same most nights, so we chose to eat out a few nights over the 10 day holiday. I would definitely recommend Dafni's for a meal, just around the corner from the hotel. There is a lovely spa facility, although we didn't use it, except on the last day after I had lay in the sun. You can use of the spa facility to get a freshen up before leaving for a late flight. Nearby, plenty of pubs, supermarkets, restaurants on the main strip and on the other side of the hotel, however, most are now closing for the winter. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and the water is clear and clean, definitely worth spending a day or 2 there. Car hire is good to tour the island with and we did the "Back to the roots" bus tour as well, which was worthwhile. We personally appreciated the help on the last day after checking out of our room, while waiting around the pool area before our evening pick up when my husband took ill and the reception staff arranged for him to rest in another bedroom for a few hours to prevent him feeling sick in public. Overall, the hotel is around a 4 star in terms of cleanliness, good pool area and reasonable choice o

I had this privilege to stay in this amazing hotel, from a moment you arrive you can see a touch to the detail, a nice greek decorations, statues, giving a warm feeling. Welcoming and kind reception, always there to help, suggest and explain everything. I stayed in a suite with hot-tub and it had a sea view as well the room was spacious, all the facilities as you expect from 5 star hotel - nice selection of mini bar things, room service etc., The main pool area is fantastic, it is spacious as well and pool is big enough so even when it gets crowded, in the pool no one gets on your head. Prices with foods and drinks affordable, snack bar was so good that when we tried lunch outside it was not worth it and the rest of the days we ate lunch time in the hotel, plenty of choices and afoordable things. There was also a spa facility, I enjoyed and loved, with a special discount got a peeling, amazing proffesionals over there and a nice place to relax if it's a raining day. Buffet dinner food is great, everyday selection of different meats, some days theme days like sundays was with a roast beef and someday there was italian and greek night. Quiet hotel, mostly elderly couples and young couples, so not a party place. Would definetly suggest this hotel for anyone who likes peace and quiet.

We loved our time at Meandros, picked up at the airport and on check in we were given a free upgrade to a pool room which was lovely and unexpected! The pool was quiet, never an issue getting a sunbed. The bar was good for lunch, and a lovely mojito. Breakfast and dinner were always good, plenty of options, although we ate out some nights as there are lots of nearby restaurants and we would have preferred b&b. The hotel was kept perfectly clean, and all the staff were friendly and courteous. Used the spa and the Uranus restaurant, both lovely. Recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing break.

Visited this hotel August 2nd to 9th. To keep it sort and sweet this hotel is awesome. I’m a fussy eater and to be honest the food was really good. Sunbeds you could pick anywhere every day. We had room 210 which was amazing. Over looking the pool. Staff and waiters were so polite and a big shout out to Blake nothing was any trouble for him. I will definitely make another visit to this hotel. Thanks all at Meandros. 👏👏👏👏

Spent 7 nights here with my partner and my parents. The breakfast and evening meal are well cooked and varied. You don’t get as much choice as a ‘full’ all inclusive but it’s quality food. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and polite. You can pay €10 to check in early which some have commented isn’t right as the room is already cleaned. But every hotel check in is around 2pm and you’re paying for convenience, you pay to check out late so to check in early is fair enough to pay. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Honest review so I’ll say the lunch time food isn’t the best, for example the pizza seems either frozen or made on a pre-prepared base, but as stated there are plenty of bars and restaurants within minutes away. You do have to pay for the gym which is not standard across Europe having stayed across Europe, but this should not put anyone off staying, it’s the same price as a cocktail in England so in that perspective you can’t complain. Would definitely recommend and may return one day but still exploring the world at this point. Thanks for a great week

The hotel was super quiet, which is fine if that's what you want. Everywhere was very clean and the rooms were serviced every day. No issues at all getting a sound bed, even at the end of July. The pool was never very busy. Our main disappointment was the food. To us it didn't warrant even 3 stars. The choice and standard was limited at both breakfast and evening meal. However when at lunchtime you had to pay extra, the lunches were lovely. We ate out in the evening even though we had paid for half board so it proved more expensive. Poolside cocktails were very good. Staff friendly. You MUST take ear plugs, as a local cockeral is awake from 4am!

It was a marvellous holiday to celebrate our special occasion. The hotel was outstanding, our suite, was immaculate, cleaned daily to the highest standards. The main swimming pool, spa, restaurant and bar facilities echoed the high standards maintained on the complex. The food, although basic was varied and delicious. All the staff were excellent..... we would be obliged if you would convey our special thanks to Demetria & Sofia on Reception and to Blake in the Restaurant & Bar, they made us most welcome, and provided a first class customer focused service.........Thank you, (we will be back)...xx

We had a lovely, relaxing week at Meandros. It was a special birthday so we booked a private pool and deluxe suite. We were so grateful that we got room 105 because the pool was extremely private unlike some of the other pools which were on full display to the guests. I enjoyed the food which was very Greek, my husband not so much but a small hotel cannot cater for individual tastes. The staff everywhere were superb very welcoming and professional. My only grievance was the shower over the bath. My heart sank when I saw it, because I've had two hip replacements I found it extremely difficult to access the shower. My husband had to help me in it every day and wait with me while I showered because there were no grab rails to hold onto. Believe me, not very dignifying and I've left with several bruises on my legs as the bath was so high. There was no entertainment of any kind so we enjoyed the live music at Antonis pool bar. All in all we did enjoy our holiday, staff, cleanliness and pool were exemplary. I would love to go back but couldn't put myself through the whole shower experience again.
