We had Team building trip for 30+ staff from our business (3 years after previous trip). Last time was not so bad this time was much worse and would certainly not recommend this place for anything. Negatives.........food portions very small ........if we had not taken additional food the group would have been hungry for sure. Very noisy window type AC, bathroom too small, no hot water shower. Only 1 toilet which was broken (no flush), filthy old stained bathroom mirror, poor quality BBQ equipment, too many regulations on use of pool and restrictions on use of beach area. Staff not very attentive and no consideration whatsoever towards the guest. Food quality was just acceptable though of course cooked hours earlier and therefore cold......no staff advisory that food was ready ............... Really expected some improvement from the last time we were there on staff bonding 3 years ago.........but it was much worse with the resort pretty much run down in desperate need of some ”tender loving care”. Positives - NONE ............won't be returning to this place. we paid 66k for a single night stay at this place and feel totally aggrieved and dissatisfied. Stay at this resort at your peril!

Worth it ang stay namin nang boyfriend ko for 3 days dito sa Megans! Sobrang nag enjoy kami. Friendly ang mga staff.

If this place will be renovated I will surely go back. But unfortunately it is an old hotel. Before entering zambales there will be a checkpoint so basically we need an antigen test before entering the place. I thought the pool with slides is 5-6ft deep but it's just 4ft. And the other pool which I think is the deeper one is full of moss.

One of the worst stays I have ever experienced in a supposed resort. Firstly paid over ₱7000 for a room to fit 3 adults and a kid. The room was very tired, not very clean, tv did not work properly and very basic in amenities. Not worth with the price! The overall resort is very tired. It needs a major refurbishment. Paint is peeling, large cracks in the building, garden returning to jungle etc! Staff are not at all friendly or flexible. Arrrived with our family at 12pm after a long drive. Requested an early check in. Advised they are just cleaning the room now. I said that is great can you advise how long until will be ready. The reply you can not access it until 2pm at the earliest. Wow. Thanks. The free breakfast is average basic Filipino style breakfast food. It is a buffet format only 7am to 9am. Very limited hours for a supposed resort. Also requested if we could just take. plate to our room (literally a minute from where the food is served) to be told no not possible. The location is average. On a busy highway. Not sure where they get Waterfront for the name of the hotel as the only water close by is the run down pool with a run down bar. The bar has chairs that look like they have been recycled from a trash site. The bar staff did not know how to make basic cocktails and constantly referred to a 'menu' with the expected result being average overpriced drinks. The final and worst part of this once in a life experience was the check out process. We went to check out around 11.15am well before the noon requirement. After handing in the keys and and the deposit slip for the ₱1000 to be returned in full (we did not consume anything in the room) I just stood there for about 10 mins. I asked why the delay. Advised housekeeping was checking the room. Ok so I sat down. After another 20 mins chased them. Finally advised they would be keeping my deposit because of supposed stain on pillow case and sheet. We were invited to inspect the linen. First, the pillow case was like this whern we arrived! Second, the small dirt marks on the sheet were not stains at all and clearly would be cleaned in a standard wash.! After my wife argued the ridiculous of the accusation and the ridiculous of not getting a tiny bit of dirt out in a standard wash we were finally given our deposit in full. This I expect was a scam attempt to falsely pocket our deposit. The whole check out experience took over 45 mins and was embarrassing in that the false accusations were directed at us in front of other customers. If there is one resort/hotel to avoid this is it! If you are crazy enough to stay there now you now only have your self to blame!

On checking in for 3 days I paid for my room cash up front and was shown my room. A few hours later received a text to say the room I was given was more expensive and I could either pay the difference or leave. After an argument I opted to pay the diff. but despite all the credit card signs on the counter the receptionist could not accept my card as she did not know how to operate the machine. I could not connect to the internet and was told if I looked on my key tag the password was there. However they soon discovered they had put the wrong password on my key. That night I found the new bedside lamp did not work, nor could I open the safe which was locked. The website stated tea and coffee were provided in the room, there was none, it also mentioned a bed cover or duvet, yet my bed had a single thin sheet. the bar fridge had a list of drink prices taped to the door, but was empty. The glass window was smashed and the broken glass held together with sticky tape (Picture provided !) On leaving I was told I did not need to pay the difference on the room !!

I my family and I rented three rooms here in December 2022. Two rooms with a king size bed and one room with two queen size beds. All rooms had spectacular views from their private balconies. The Wi-Fi connection was not strong in one of our rooms but the staff promptly moved us into a new room. We especially enjoyed how the hotel offers massages in the room. The beach was rocky but the view was unbeatable. The breakfast in the morning was great and cost friendly and the dinner in the evening was even more cost friendly and so tasty. We can’t wait to return here during our next trip to Subic!
