Yunqi Shanfang·Xiexin Chanyi Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Wulingyuan Branch)

The hotel is situated just one street behind the main road, what makes it a quiet hotel in terms of street noises. The friendliness of the hotel owners is out of this world and top class. The patience she displays in helping us plan our best tour is unprecedented. Also the openness to her family is heartwarming. The duplex room is spacious and has a nice bath and great beds and the airco is great. However there is some wear and tear of the room. But this is just a minor thing. So if you are planning to visit the national park of Zhangjiajie and want to have a great and warm hostess, this is your hotel.

Great management. The owners are super kind and helpful, they even gave us a map and explained how to get around the park. Public spaces could benefit from a bit more deeper cleaning, but overall conditions are acceptable.

It's a beautiful place.to stop. The hostess upgraded our room category for free, it was very pleasant, the room was clean, bright and large. Also, the hostess was always ready to help us and she kindly told us how best to take a walk in the Avatar mountains. I was given a wonderful gift that I kept for a long memory

We stayed for two nights to enjoyed the wonders of Zhangjiajie Natural Park. The hotel is really nice, the staff very kind and helpful. 100% recommended!

This hotel was in a very good location for what we were looking to do tourist-wise. The hosts were very accommodating and tried hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible - for which we are very grateful! The rooms were minimalistic but perfectly comfortable and quite relaxing. The surrounding area is quaint and cultural with plenty of options food-wise if you’re adventurous and like Chinese cuisine! All in all we were impressed with the level of service considering the remote location - we would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore the mountains etc!

Just down from Tianzi Road, and around the corner from the river, the hotel location was good, and nice and quiet. The owner was amazing! Very considerate and helpful. He answered our myriad of questions, was always available, and was great with our little one. The national forest park east entrance is just a 20 min walk down the river (minus time for photos at the stepping stones). Would thoroughly recommend!

The hotel located at a small town which is really comfortable. The staff and the people who manage the hotel is really friendly and treat us really well. She even manage to help us book attractions ticket and assist us in everything

5 star hotel! The service was excellent, the owner and his wife made sure we were looked after everyday even with the language barrier, we communicated easily over our phones. They called us a few days prior to arrange airport pickup and found us a last minute taxi for a reasonable price after our flight had been delayed to land at 2am. They helped us plan our trips to the national park and offered to book transportation for us too. She also helped us do our laundry and even hung it up for us so we could go hiking in the park and not worry about it. The Hotel Rooms were extremely clean, the bedding was changed daily and the entire floor was mopped sparkling clean. Cleanliness is not an issue at this hotel. The location was perfect, so close to the restaurants and nightlife but far enough that you could have a good nights sleep. There was no noise and we were surrounded by nature. The national park was only a 5 minute taxi ride away. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel! The best for an authentic zhangjiajie experience away from the commercialised hotels in the centre. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
