They offer complimentary airport transfers and free shuttle services to scenic spots. You can even see Tianmen Mountain from your room at this guesthouse. It's incredibly quiet, and having two sunny balconies is a huge plus. Lying on the balcony at night and taking photos feels so luxurious. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The owner is super nice; they even helped us call taxis when we went out, and at reasonable prices too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The B&B is really great, the room is comfortable and spacious, very clean, the mattress is soft and I slept till dawn. I have been traveling for four or five days and this is the best hotel I have ever come across. What moved me the most was that after returning from Tianmen Mountain, I had a meal in his restaurant. The cooking skills were first-class, and I think it is one of the best Hunan dishes. My parents also praised it highly. The scenery did not keep me, but this restaurant kept my heart. Highly recommended!

YYazeed Zolkifli⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My recent stay at XiFuWan Resort Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warm greeting from the owner made us feel right at home. The owners, a genuinely kind husband and wife duo, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable and comfortable. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a lovely basket of fresh fruits—a thoughtful touch that truly reflected their generosity. They even went the extra mile by creating a WeChat group labeled ”VIP” to keep us updated on local attractions and assist us during our stay, which added a personalized touch to the experience. The owners were particularly helpful in arranging tickets for the mountains and the famed Bailong Elevator, making our adventures seamless. They provided complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to the east gate of the mountain, which was incredibly convenient. During our stay, my mother experienced some abdominal pain, and the compassion demonstrated by the owners was heartwarming. The husband personally took us to the hospital and assisted us through every step of the process, ensuring my mother was taken care of from A to Z. There, we experience what visiting a hospital in China is like. Its very fast and convenient. Location-wise, XiFuWan Resort Hotel is perfectly situated in the bustling city center, surrounded by an array of conveniences including HeyTea, cyber cafés, supermarkets, and even a hospital nearby. It’s the ideal spot for anyone looking to explore the area without sacrificing comfort or service. Not to mention, there is also a halal restaurant nearby, ideal for muslim guests. The service we received at XiFuWan Resort Hotel exceeded our expectations, giving us an experience worthy of more than just five stars. GGuest UserWe were pleasantly surprised that the room looked exactly like it did in the pictures! It was priceless waking up to these views in the morning. The hotel itself is surrounded by the mountains and there are views from the dining room as well. There is also a tea room where the staff will introduce and brew tea with you for free, and a massage service (outside of the hotel) that they can book for guests. The staff helped to arrange free transport to and from Wulingyuan Entrance, on the days that we wanted to explore the forest. They also helped to book our park tickets, and explained in detai the recommended sightseeing routes. They were extremely responsive and helpful! Breakfast was lovely - there was a selection of breads and pastries, fruits, traditional chinese dumplings, porridge, eggs, and more. The perfect fuel for exploring the forest nearby. Dinner was homestyle cooking, however do note that food may take slightly longer to come during the low season, as there are fewer kitchen staff during that period. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time at Foggy Valley. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind after exploring Zhang Jia Jie Forest Park, I would highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserBetween the beauty of the natural spaces of this hotel, the perfect amenities, fantastic restaurant and IMPECCABLE service from all staff members this hotel is a no brainer for anyone wanting a relaxing spot with incredible views right from your room that rival any view from within Zhangjiajie Park. Truly, the service provided at this hotel included personalized aid when creating itineraries and excursion recommendations, free driver service to and from airport, train station, park and anywhere else, prompt and easy communication with fantastic and friendly hosts and much more. I know this review seems too good to be real, but I promise, this was my experience with my fiancé in the hotel for three nights. We cannot recommend this place enough.

AAnonymous UserChoosing this hotel for my Zhangjiajie trip was incredibly worthwhile! The room was impeccably clean, the bedding was soft and odorless, and there wasn't a speck of dust in any corner—it was truly comfortable. The most delightful surprise was the view outside the window: rolling green mountains right at my doorstep, and the sunset glow in the evening was absolutely stunning. The orange-red afterglow cast over the mountains was so romantic, I couldn't tear my eyes away. The free airport shuttle service was a lifesaver for first-time visitors to Zhangjiajie! As soon as I exited the airport, I saw the staff waiting, and I didn't have to worry about directions at all; they took me directly to the hotel. It was convenient and thoughtful. The hotel's location is also very handy, and the staff were patient in answering all my questions about subsequent travel plans. My experience was fantastic. From cleanliness to the views and service, everything was top-notch. Thumbs up!

MM352029****My stay this time was absolutely wonderful! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. Check-in was quick, and they thoughtfully introduced all the hotel facilities and local attractions. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. The bathroom had a great dry/wet separation, and there was plenty of hot water. For this price, to get such an environment and service, it's really great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time and will recommend it to my friends!

JJess and familyWe booked this hotel since it was closer to Tiamen mountain. Unfortunately the hotel is very far away from everything else and you don’t have any restaurants nearby except for the hotel restaurant. When we booked this hotel we got an offer to get: 1 craftsman beer 100 yuan in didi tickets 2 tickets to an exhibition. Even these we never received, the 100 yuan in didi (taxi) tickets we got when we asked for them and showed them the booking information and even though they saw the booking information in Chinese the didn’t get us the offer that we had paid for. When we arrived at the hotel which is very grand and look very nice upon arrival they greeted us at the car which is expected for a hotel that grand but that was only the first day they did that. All other times when we got to the hotel no one greeted us, they were all busy talking to each other instead. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and even though we booked a family room where they know 4 people was staying they gave us only amenities such as towels etc for 2 people so every day we needed to wait and ask for 2 more towels before we took a shower. We also booked excursions through the hotel to visit Grand Canyon and also Tiamen mountain and paid over 1600 yuan for the whole family with everything included. When we came to Grand Canyon we couldn’t experience what we were there for (the zipline) because it had weight restrictions and when we contacted the sales person from the hotel she didn’t take any responsibility and just blamed everything else instead of saying that she was sorry. The day after we visited Tiamen mountain and here we had also booked a ticket that should have included everything and when we came there it was hidden fees that the sales person from the hotel hadn’t told us. When we contacted her again it was the same response that she blamed everything else instead of taking responsibility for that she hadn’t told us everything that she needed to tell us. No compensation was given by the hotel and no excuse. When we checked ut the staff said that they would be happy if we could give them a 5 star review and my response was that I will give you a review but it’s not going to be 5 star. When they asked us explain why we did and they blamed it on the language barrier which I don’t buy since all the messages and sales were done through translation app and also through WeChat were you can translate into your own language. It would have been so easy for the hotel to say I’m sorry and for example as a compensation from us you can go down to the buffé restaurant to eat dinner but instead they blamed everything else! We are world travelers and have been to different cities both in China and also in different country’s around the world and this is one of the hotel were we feel that they had the worst service we have experienced. When we’re coming back we will not stay here again! A fancy hotel that can not live up to the expectations.

XXiaoyaxiaotangyuan、The hotel is very close to Tianmen Mountain cableway, just a few yuan by taxi, so the location is great if you're visiting Tianmen Mountain. There's a shopping mall downstairs. It's close to the road, so there can be a bit of traffic noise, which might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. I wasn't a big fan of the rice noodles at breakfast, but everything else was really good. I'd recommend staying here.

XXYHJNThe room was spotless. The location is excellent, just a short taxi ride from the scenic area entrance, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. A charming little stream runs right by the entrance, offering beautiful scenery, and you can even go down for a paddle. The owner was incredibly kind and went out of their way to thoroughly explain tips for exploring the scenic area. There's also a third-floor terrace, perfect for drying clothes, which offers fantastic views. This is a truly honest review – we had an absolutely wonderful time!

This is honestly the best place I’ve stayed so far. She helped me with everything—from booking tickets to planning my entire trip. With her proper guidance, I managed to explore all the main attractions within my limited time. Without her help, it would’ve been hard to organize everything so smoothly. I highly recommend booking your tickets directly through the hotel. She arranged my entrance ticket and an unlimited cable car pass at an affordable price, which also saved a lot of time. I didn’t have to wait in long lines—just a quick face scan and everything worked perfectly! Whenever I had a question or small problem, she was always available on text with quick and helpful suggestions. The place itself is affordable, clean, and very comfortable. The whole house smart provides an efficient and convenient environment, and the high-speed network allows me to handle work at any time. The high-end toilet and free drinks are the embodiment of quality life, and the sky garden has become my open-air office, with a broad view and abundant inspiration. Take a walk to the Wulingyuan Marking Gate to relax your mind and body during the work break, exercise at the well-equipped gym in the evening, and the three lovely cats are also good companions to relieve stress. This balance of being able to work efficiently and experience nature deeply allows me to travel and work at the same time.
