Ulasan XingYuan Hostel

This hotel is perfect for foreigners since it is close to Dafo temple and the reception can book you chartered tours to Mati Si, Rainbow mountains (è pieno di dive slay kunt kunt che si fanno le foto x redbook quindi vestitevi bene per non sfigurare) and Pingshan Grand Canyon, which is extremely useful since there is little to no public transportation to these places. For some of this attractions you can also get a discount on the ticket if you book with them (but you might not be able to use other discounts like the one for college students). The hotel can be challenging to locate since it's on the second floor of a building, look up for the "wolf tours" sign. The room are spacious enough but a little bit dusty and the shower doesn't have walls. Good: - The reception staff was very nice and helpful, they organized our transfer to Mati si - The location was good, close to the food street and bus station to go to Zhangye danxia colorful mountain - There were enough amenities (kettle, cups, tooth brush...) but the towels were very small. Bad: - The cleanliness was not great, lots of hairs on the floor, and dust on furniture. - The mattress wasn't a mattress but a wooden plank we felt like fakirs. - The shower head was leaking from every side and the drain was smelling very bad in the morning - The isolation was bad, we could hear everything happening in the alley downstairs or in the room next door. Also there were mosquitoes in the room but the hostel provides an electronic repellent and a mosquito net on the window. All in all it wasn't the best hotel but it was cheap and ok.

We had a great stay here. It is clean and comfortable, and conveniently located in the centre of the city, with all major attractions within a 15 minute walk (Mingqing street; drum tower; Big Buddha temple; wooden pagoda and the connected square [lots of people dancing in the mornings and evenings—a must see!]). The receptionist was very helpful and friendly too. The hostel also organised affordable transport for us to and from Danxia rainbow sand dunes (50¥/person) and Mati temple (70¥/person); note that this is 1/3 of the price charged by private drivers or tour agencies! A good place to base yourself to explore Zhangye and nearby sites.

Everything was fine, & they were dog friendly. No complaints 😄

Sadly very disappointing. The smell of the sewers was extremely strong. The bed did not have a mattress, and the sheets were dirty and itchy. The bathroom was dirty. A friend had a good room. So matter of luck I guess.

Great hostel for solo travellers looking to find tours at an affordable price. Great value for money as well for a single room as well as an excellent friendly front desk

Clean hostel, super helpful staff, great location (the bus stop to the Rainbow Mountains is 12 min walking distance & the area is nice with good services!) Family owned business, the owners are extremely kind! High recommendations of a good quality hostel.

Room was nice, cozy common room. Tours around Zhangye were nice and provided by the Hostel for little price. Besides, we wanted to book for the desert and the lady helped us a lot to organize, get the contacts and she also kept our luggages while we were away. Very recommended

The woman who owns it is so friendly and helpful, and organized a whole day trip for me which was amazing. She also let me have the room until late before my train. Would definitely recommend, especially for the value.

Хороший хостел. Персонал немного разговаривает по-английски Быстрое заселение. Хостел легко найти. Я был один в номере :) Много душевых комнат, туалетов, раковин - везде чисто.
