Very dirty hotel. Old and not updated. Rooms are very old and carpets are very dirty. Asked for a non smoking room but it’s a smoking room and the rooms smells terrible. The bathroom is disguised very dirty and have a bad smell. Carpets full of stain. Aircon don’t work at all as it’s centrally controlled to 24 degrees very hot and smelly. Breakfast I went at 9am and they don’t refill the drinks and other food. The lifts are very slow. For this price not recommended.

The room facilities have not yet reached the standards for renovation. Regarding the issue of 'non-smoking rooms being arranged as smoking rooms with unpleasant odors,' this is a serious error in our front desk room assignment process. We have urgently strengthened the room assignment verification mechanism, requiring on-duty staff to double-check order requirements. Additionally, we have equipped smoking rooms with professional odor removal devices to ensure that unpleasant smells are completely eliminated and to prevent such mistakes from happening again. Concerning bathroom hygiene and odor issues, we have conducted comprehensive training for the housekeeping department, reinforcing the 'one guest, one cleaning and disinfection' standard. We are focusing on inspecting bathroom corners, increasing the frequency of disinfection, and regularly checking the drainage system to address the source of odor issues. As for the air conditioning problem, the engineering department has conducted a comprehensive overnight inspection of the central air conditioning system, cleaning the air ducts and adjusting the temperature control system to ensure that the temperature is adjustable and free of odors. Moving forward, we will establish a regular maintenance log to avoid similar malfunctions. Regarding breakfast services, we have sternly criticized the head of the breakfast area and clearly require that staff check the food stations every 15 minutes during breakfast hours to promptly replenish food and beverages, ensuring that guests can enjoy a normal dining experience.

You can walk from the high-speed railway station. It's very convenient for catching the trains. There are a lot of restaurants nearby the hotel. The room is very big.

The hotel is nice and in a great location, right across the street from the Zhangye high-speed train station. Our room upgraded to the Executive Suite, so the room is large and we xan see the entire city at night. The breakfast is rich and has many varieties.

I seems there is so many fake reviews. But I must say this experience was really top class. It's fairly newly renovated. Right across from the train station. Great Chinese style breakfast. Although limited English they did everything to help me find a driver and guide for our trip. The room was really clean and modern. Thanks to the team.

Absolutely terrible. I wouldn't normally give such a bad review for a hotel, but the Qianxi Silk Road Hotel in Zhangye was truly awful. I arrived late at night, and there was hair on the bed. The bathroom and shower area were extremely dirty, covered in limescale, and the toilet was filthy. I called the front desk after finding hair on the bed, and they said the duty manager would come to handle it. A while later, a man in casual clothes arrived, which was quite surprising. Is the hotel's duty manager supposed to come in casual clothes to deal with guest problems? It was the first time I'd ever seen anything like it. They changed the sheets and cleaned the room on the spot. I was already late and wanted to go out for dinner, but they dawdled around cleaning the room for over twenty minutes. Didn't your hotel clean before the guests arrived? Furthermore, both bottles of shower gel were used. Is this your hotel's standard? I told the front desk in the morning, and they seemed indifferent. Also, the two female front desk staff were rude and dismissive, acting like they didn't care if I asked them anything. I've never seen anything like this before. I highly recommend it! The room was filthy, poorly maintained, and the sofa had peeling paint. It was extremely bad.

The stay was absolutely terrible, the service was appalling. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none. The staff's attitude has simply lowered my expectations. When I asked the front desk for two bottles of water, I was met with a cold shoulder and an impatient tone, as if I owed them money. Isn't providing basic room amenities a hotel's responsibility? Even worse was the breakfast service. My child simply took some bread, and a staff member loudly and harshly berated him in front of everyone. We were traveling with a child and just wanted a relaxed experience, but we were scolded for no reason. This wasn't a polite reminder; it was malicious harassment! This indiscriminate criticism is a huge personal offense to both the child and the parents. I still feel incredibly upset and uncomfortable. I sincerely advise everyone to avoid this hotel. Anyone who stays at a hotel with such a complete lack of service awareness and a complete inability to show basic respect will suffer!
