The hotel is right on the beach, which is perfect for families with kids. The service is great, and the hotel restaurant offers excellent value for money with delicious food. Highly recommend it! We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit. Thanks!

The hotel is not far from the pier and offers a shuttle bus service. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The room was great, with a beach right across the road where kids could play in the sand. The restaurant in the lobby was affordable and the food was good. You might have to queue during peak hours.

The room layout wasn't quite what I booked, and the bathroom and sink area felt a bit cramped. Toiletries were limited to just a toothbrush, toothpaste, and comb; there was no shower cap, for instance. The cleanliness was just okay, with some peeling caulk in the bathroom. They did provide a mini-bar and complimentary fruit, which was a nice touch. The concierge and front desk staff were all very pleasant. Dining was convenient as there's a restaurant downstairs. The location is also great, right by the sea. Accommodation on the island tends to be pricey. While this price might get you a five-star hotel elsewhere, considering it's on the island, this rate is probably reasonable compared to other hotels.

Every year during the off-season, I spend a few days in Putuo, and I've stayed at several hotels on the island. Xilai Zhizhu Hangshe is definitely one of the best. The location is excellent, the facilities are great, the hygiene is satisfactory, and the service is also very good. Besides the high room rate, there's hardly anything to fault. Especially the Yuanzhi Yuanwei restaurant downstairs – it was a pleasant surprise! I used to avoid 'influencer' spots, but after eating there twice, I was very impressed. No pre-made dishes, fresh ingredients, good flavor, and great value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again every year.

Great location! There's a shuttle bus from the pier, and the hotel restaurant is really good – highly recommend it. It's also a short walk to Puji Temple, Nanhai Guanyin, and the Purple Bamboo Forest. Plus, there's a beach right next door, which is very relaxing for a stroll.

My family was quite happy. The room has been newly renovated, and the facilities are complete and quite new. The lighting is also good. Although it's a bit pricey, I like that this street is convenient for getting anywhere, and it's also relatively close to the beach.

Staying on an island means you can't expect bargain prices. The room was small but clean and tidy. It's convenient for visiting the Nanhai Guanyin statue, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Plus, they offer pier transfers, which is a nice touch.

This was our second time staying at Healray visiting Putuoshan. The hotel is perfectly located for visiting the area. Rooms are spacious enough and very clean. Breakfast is a bit chaotic purely because of the fast and busy turnaround. Will definitely visit again.

I had a very good stay at Healray Collection Zhizhu. The hotel is in a great location by the water, and although it’s a little distance from the wharf, the hotel provides pick-up and drop-off service. They were extremely responsive—even when I only requested a pick-up about half an hour before arrival, everything was arranged smoothly. The room was comfortable with modern facilities, and the hotel feels very well renovated and well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent—the cleaning lady was very friendly and would clean the room promptly whenever guests stepped out. Staff were always around and readily available. The reception staff and doorkeeper were also very friendly, always greeting guests with a smile and willing to assist whenever needed. The location is another plus, with only a short walk to the famous Guanyin statue. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to the area.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right downstairs from the famous Yuan Zhi Yuan Wei restaurant. The overall feel of the hotel is very upscale, and the staff are incredibly professional and helpful, always ready to answer any questions, which makes guests feel very comfortable. The room was super clean, and the decor style was really pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience, highly recommended.

In 2024, I stayed next door at Zhuxiangju, which had excellent service and facilities, but it was indeed more expensive than this place. Considering both hotels are next to each other and both offer smart home features, I was drawn to book here, but the result was a huge disappointment. Firstly, as soon as I got on the ferry, I immediately notified the hotel that I was on my way and asked them to pick me up at the pier, as I was traveling with my 72-year-old mother and it was very windy at the pier. Despite notifying them in advance, we still waited at the pier for almost 15 minutes! 15 minutes! The wind at the pier was so strong; I can handle it, but can an elderly person? I called to chase them, and they said the car had just left. So what were you doing before that? Never mind that. After checking in, a male supervisor took me to my room and did help with the luggage, but as soon as the door opened, he started recommending a show. I don't understand, do hotels push optional paid activities now? He said the show was very good and explained the origin of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Without hesitation, I paid around 150 RMB per person via WeChat immediately, just so my mother could rest early and not complain to me in the room, as she had already been exposed to the cold wind at the pier for 15 minutes. That evening, a car was arranged to pick us up for the show, which turned out to be in a theater inside a jade shop. The actors' costumes were torn, and it was late at night, and we waited for a long time. I was speechless. But I guess these things are fine, after all, I agreed to pay. After our two-day stay, I asked the front desk to arrange a transfer to the pier. They said the shuttle bus has fixed times and I'd have to wait 40 minutes for the next one. I was truly speechless. Next door, they offer on-demand pick-up and drop-off! The two hotels are side-by-side, yet the difference is so huge. I only have myself to blame for being stingy. For my 2026 Putuo trip, and all future Putuo trips, I will definitely stay next door and will never try to save a little money again. Thank you.

We love everything about Healray Collection. Our flight arrived late, and took a late ferry over to the Island. Luckily they had shuttle service from and to Ferry, which made it so much easier than calling a car service. When we arrived, they assisted us unloading the luggage. Our room got excellent view and could see the Guan Yin statue from our room. I'm OCD, so cleanliness is very important to me and I approved. We booked two nights, sadly we were only able to stay one night due to a Gale warning. The hotel had such a great customer service, when we were sightseeing, they gave us a call to inform us that they received a Gale warning and that the ferry will not operate the next day. They gave us an option to stay or refund us the one night if we wished to checkout to catch the ferry. They were very helpful and resourceful in that respect. The manager Zhou Min reached out to our online booking to verify our refund. We were very pleased and amazed with their extraordinary service. I personally would definitely refer and book with them again. I care about service and they have one of the best service I've had experienced.

I've always stayed at other hotels on the island, but this time my son wanted to go sand dredging, so I chose this one by the sea. The beach is right outside the door. There's a car to pick you up when you get to the island, which is quite convenient. It's also very close to Guanyin Temple, and you can see it from your room.

The hotel is located at the foot of Nanhai Guanyin, with the beach just outside the door and sea view. The service provided by Xiao Qian, Xiao Wei and Wen Wen at the hotel front desk is good.
