GGuest UserWe loved the customer service. Due to gale warning, we arrived a day early. The hotel got a shuttle service to and from Ferry/airport. We arrived late and the weather wasn't the greatest, but the owner were willing to drive us to get food and offer to pickup. After a long day of rushing from one island to another, we much needed a foot massage. Due to the bad weather, the owner was so nice to offer to drive us to a massage parlor and pick us up after. This is some excellent service you don't see often. The hotel doesn't have elevator, but it's not really an issue for us. The rooms were clean and neat. I could see the temple from my room. This place is in a community, but not far from alot of places. It's walking distance to rent a moped, If you could ride a moped, I 100% recommend it. You could use Wechat/Alipay to rent it. We rent it to ride everywhere. It's very safe. I would definitely book with them again and recommend this place to stay if you are planning to visit the island.

GGuest UserI booked this homestay on Ctrip, and the overall feeling is really good. The room is clean and comfortable, and the toiletries are no less than those of a five-star hotel. The environment looks inconspicuous from the outside, but it is quite warm inside. The boss gives people a very kind feeling and helps introduce places to visit around. The meals cooked by the boss's mother are fresh and delicious, and worth recommending.

MMayiladashuThe hotel offered a complimentary travel photography session. The service was excellent, and the photos turned out beautifully, which I was very satisfied with. There were no hidden costs, and both the photographer and the young lady who assisted us were incredibly warm and welcoming. Overall, the experience was fantastic! We received a complimentary upgrade to a Zen-style bathtub room. The room offered a pleasant ambiance and was spotlessly clean. The guest building is separate from the front desk. While the front desk lobby was air-conditioned, the ground floor lobby and elevators of the guest building had no AC, making it uncomfortably hot. I had specifically paid extra for breakfast because I tend to wake up early and was concerned about potential crowds and queues on the island later. However, hotel breakfast started at 6:30 AM, and the restaurant would not open before then. With the first ferry departing at 6:20 AM, the timings clashed, so I couldn't have the hotel's breakfast and ended up eating out. Moreover, takeaway was not allowed for breakfast. Complimentary disposable toiletries only included a toothbrush and slippers; combs, razors, cotton swabs, shower caps, and soap were all chargeable extras. The parking voucher included 24 hours of free parking per night's stay, with an hourly charge of 8 RMB for any time exceeding that. The hotel is located approximately 800 meters from the ferry terminal.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

Being steps away from the beach allowed me to enjoy picturesque views of the ocean and soothing sounds of the waves throughout my stay. The serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. A side note, this hotel is connected to the Westin and guest could stroll through the grounds. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted me with warm hospitality. They were attentive to my needs and provided helpful information about the hotel's services and nearby attractions. The room was tastefully decorated and well-appointed with modern amenities. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-designed bathroom. The room's balcony provided a lovely spot to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning sunsets. The hotel's dining options were diverse and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood dishes served at the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different palates. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the pier, and also a short walk from the main bus stop. The rooms are very clean and tidy, and the owner is very kind, offering to pick up and drop off luggage at the pier. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again next year if I go there again.

GGuest UserService was good, from the helpful shuttle bus drivers to the prompt service of the technician-we had difficulty turning on the TV initially. However, we were confused about the shuttle bus stops stated by the hotel as there are designated hotel shuttle bus stops which are different from the different temples stops where only the public buses can go. The breakfast spread was not big but adequate. The hotel room was comfortable although not big. I like the Zen design. The windows were open when we entered the hotel room, hence there were two flies in the room. We turned on the electric mosquito repellent. Luckily, they did not disturb us. The attendants should not open the windows when doing room cleaning lest insects go into the room. The island has many trees so there are insects-mosquitoes, flies etc around. The room walls are thin though. I could hear the neighbouring rooms talking along the corridor and the room attendant coming by to their rescue saying he is the room attendant. The hotel is a few minutes' walk from the sea, good for an evening walk. Overall, the quality is good and the hotel room was comfortable. Definitely a hotel I could return to.
