Ulasan Renaissance Zhuhai

The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Qianshan Bridge on Zhuhai Avenue, and it's in the same building as Uni City, which has a huge variety of restaurants to try. The hotel is very new, with modern facilities and great hygiene, making for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good, and the pool was even better, plus there's a spa pool. However, out of the eight hotels I've stayed in across eight cities from north to south, covering over 2,000 kilometers, this hotel in Zhuhai had the least enthusiastic service and the worst response to guest requests. The front desk staff were serious and formal, with no smiles. When I booked through Trip.com, I left a note requesting a non-smoking room and a room close to the elevator. Instead, I was given a room that reeked of smoke and was the furthest from the elevator. I had no choice but to go back to the lobby on the first floor to change rooms, which wasted a lot of time. I'm not sure what else to say!

This hotel is a real winner, especially if you're looking to explore all the cool stuff in Zhuhai. Being directly connected to a mall is super convenient for shopping and grabbing a bite. Plus, the rooms are seriously well-designed, making for a really comfy stay. It's in a prime spot for hitting up all the local attractions. Honestly, it made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable.

There was a strong scent of smoke once we opened the room door even though our room was located on a non smoking floor.  The receptionist quickly arranged a room change for us but the phone we used was very dusty, probably due to the seldom use.  The manager we used to contact didn’t work there anymore and therefore we didn’t get an upgrade 😅.

Despite some previous concerns I had due to a past hotel incident, after careful consideration, I still chose the Renaissance, and it turned out to be the right decision! I was very satisfied with the service. Thank you! **Praises:** I arrived at the hotel around 12 PM, and the entire Front Office team gave an excellent overall impression. From the moment I entered, most of the staff seemed perceptive, professional, and courteous. I'd like to give a special shout-out to the female staff member who checked me in (the one with long, radiant-looking hair). Her tone was gentle, she returned my documents with both hands, and her communication was impeccably professional and polite, truly meeting 5-star hotel standards. The male staff member with glasses standing next to her was also very good; he seemed to be a new front desk agent and appeared genuinely sincere. The female staff member with glasses nearby also made a good impression, exuding a sophisticated demeanor. This morning, I checked out and was assisted by the same female staff member who helped me yesterday. I could tell she is a person of genuinely high caliber! Yesterday around noon, the door on the 2nd floor leading to the mall was broken. Initially, I thought I couldn't figure out how to open it and even tried swiping my room card. Later, I sought help from the greeter (with a slightly plump build) standing at the entrance of the Shanhai Tower Chinese Restaurant. She initially said it should open... but then proactively walked with us to the door, and indeed, it couldn't be opened! The fact that she accompanied us there was very kind and helpful, especially since it was quite a distance. Many thanks to her again! Yesterday afternoon, I left the hotel around 2 PM, and this morning, I departed around 7 AM. The security guards at the entrance were all very pleasant and proactive in their service, even stepping forward to help close car doors. Thank you to them! **Conclusion:** The Front Office is very well managed, exhibiting a rigorous work ethic. Most staff members are perceptive and professional. The entire team seems cohesive and free of internal politics. **Drawback:** The hotel staff's name tags are extremely small, making it impossible to read their names. :) Overall, I'm very satisfied! Thank you!

My stay last night at the Renaissance Zhuhai Hotel's Executive Deluxe King Room was fantastic! The room was spacious and comfortable, with modern and sophisticated decor. The service on the executive floor was also incredibly attentive. The biggest highlight for me was the hotel's location – it's superbly convenient for transportation. Just downstairs, you'll find the Qianshan Intercity Railway Station and Qianshan Bus Terminal, making it super easy to travel to various parts of Zhuhai by intercity rail or by bus. Within walking distance of the hotel are several large shopping malls: Universal City, Huafa Shangdu, and Fuhuali are all just a 15-20 minute stroll away, offering a complete range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. It offers the perfect blend of peace and quiet amidst the city's vibrancy, coupled with unparalleled convenience. For both business and leisure travelers, this is an excellent choice.

We arrived very late at night, and frankly, needed some help getting settled. The staff were incredibly prompt and thoughtful with their assistance and arrangements. The next morning, while having breakfast at a coffee shop right next to the hotel, we discovered its excellent location. It's just a short walk to the nearby mall, which is incredibly convenient. (This was a last-minute booking, and while I'm adding photos for points, it was genuinely an unexpected delight – both the hotel and its staff were excellent.)

Located next to shopping mall with lots of restaurants, so we tried the XiTing dinner buffet at 8:30pm & but they closed serving food by 9pm. Next morning breakfast were great with lots of choices, after that we when to ChimeLong, but weather just too hot, we come back early. The room were spacious & pillow of choice. Design with basic facilities, nothings fancy

Absolutely fantastic! The room was huge and the facilities felt brand new. Being directly connected to a shopping mall made dining incredibly convenient. I also attended an event there, and the venue was beautifully set up. I had a wonderful time!

Complimentary Ride Service: We were provided with a business car for a one-way trip to Sun & Moon Bay. Facilities: Very well-equipped. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: Offers scenic Qianshan River views. Service: Great. Location: Incredibly convenient. Universal City is right downstairs, and it's only a 30-minute drive to Sun & Moon Bay, making it ideal for both dining and entertainment.

Overall comment is Good while if possible need to improvement of the Swimming Pool facilities: Water seems not so clear, Changing room is a bit crowdy and there is NO outside Sunbathing area. One minor handicap of your allowance (committed during our check in registration) extending of the check out time to 2:00 pm but both room cards could not get inside the room at 1:00 pm same day. Created unnecessary trouble & delays.

The hotel is brand new, and the breakfast is excellent, offering a great variety of delicious dishes. Its location is also superb, just a 10-15 minute drive to Zhuhai High-Speed Rail Station. Downstairs, you'll find a shopping mall and Qianshan Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient. For families with children needing a twin room, it's highly recommended, as each bed is 1.35 meters wide, providing ample space. The executive lounge offers a clear, fantastic view of the Macau Tower.

The location is simply unbeatable, with a shopping mall right downstairs. However, the high occupancy can make it feel a bit chaotic, and due to frequent use, the bathroom cleanliness wasn't ideal. Specifically, the shower area had some mold, likely a result of the weather/humidity. On the bright side, the staff were friendly and provided good service, and it's incredibly convenient for exploring the area.
