Hotel YINJU di Zhuji

This place is a B&B, not a hotel, so be aware if you're planning to stay in a hotel. Renovated from the former Baimiwan Middle School, the concept and design are excellent. The school history museum, which chronicles the history of the area, is quite interesting. There are also immersive experiences like classrooms and 28-inch bikes, which were also quite enjoyable. The facilities are relatively new and quite nice. There's a large camping tent and bonfire outside, perfect for team building. My only complaint was the breakfast. I arrived at the restaurant around 9:00 AM, and the selection was extremely limited. There were only white porridge, rice cakes, fried rice, and rice dumplings. It felt like a village school cafeteria. The limited variety wasn't a problem for me personally, but aside from the white porridge, the rice cakes were hard, the fried rice was too hard to chew even after being heated for a long time, and the rice dumplings had so little meat filling that I couldn't even see it. I was forced to settle for a bowl of white porridge and a hard-boiled egg. There's no food nearby in the mountains where the B&B is located, so breakfast is truly crucial. When checking out, I sincerely suggested to the front desk that improving the breakfast experience would be a big difference, but they said they couldn't control the steaming method or quantity due to the large crowds. Perhaps due to limited capacity, it's difficult to improve the breakfast quality quickly. Of course, the holiday price of 588 isn't cheap; the money goes primarily to the facilities, and the service needs improvement. Hopefully, improving the breakfast quality will help further promote the culture of Baimiwan.
