Stayed for 2D1N. Comfortable and spacious room. One tram down to the hb station. There are a lot of restaurants downstairs so no worries if you wanna settle on your meals nearby. They gave us cute Lindt lady bugs chocolates for our honeymoon trip , really appreciate their gestures! Breakfast was really simple tho. Other than that everything’s fine for this hotel👍🏻

The hotel is located really close to the main station which is super convinient and also there are trams stops close by. So in terms of location it was great! just service of the staff are not too great. started off with really intimidating and rude front desk receptionist during check in. He was really rude and did not want to answer questions when we wanted to ask something and when we first arrivdd he just yelled at us to just wait even though we were just standing and waiting. The daily room cleaning staff was also just throwing our personal things around and not really helping put it back . so overall service wasnt too great and rooms were really small but convinient location

A very affordable hotel at switzerland, especially Zurich. Given that most bnb was quite expensive and not quite affordable for a young traveller like me. This hotel is good as in the environment and service. Close to supermarket and tram stations also. (Roughly 5mins walk)

Overall it's a fine hotel. Nothing spectacularly positive. I mean internet was good. A couple small downsides 1) Bathroom wasn't spotless; a few hairs from previous guest were there. 2) Old window that wasn't 100% shut; It was very loud from the street (trash collection; street cleaning) and I woke up 5-6 times despite my earplugs 3) Cleaner knocked on the door and entered even though ”do not disturb” was hung up 4) no gym Overall this is more of a solid 3 start hotel than a 4 start hotel.

We stayed here one quick night on an overnight layover. It is a bit touristy with a strong ”Zurich theme.” However, it was very comfortable and in a great location in old Zurich which is what we wanted. We arrived in the late afternoon and received chocolate welcome gifts upon check in. We took a guided walking tour of old Zurich that we had arranged separately and ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was pricey, and, again, probably not a place locals go, but we had good fondue and raclette. We had a much better experience than if we would have stayed at an airport hotel. We feel like we really visited Switzerland, if only for a night. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I travelled with my wife and daughter (9), we had a fabulous time from the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive and advised us on what to do in and around Zurich. The room we had was a larger one, it had everything we needed - we loved the attention they pay to sustainability and no wastage - very smart and exactly what all other hotels should aspire to. They nailed the breakfasts - best ever! The bar is super cool and lots of outdoor space for the warmer months - it was so hot when we were there. If you like ice cream, pop around the corner - the staff will point it out to you - you will find the best Swiss ice cream right there. The location is really cool - we walked to the old town - 10 mins away, so got all our steps in AND we got up early each morning and jogged to the Zurich lake, had a swim and made our way back for that beaut breakfast. Great memories and HIGHLY recommended. We will return.

Overall the aparthotel is quite a nice stay. Location not too far from the train station, about 8-12 mins walk. Nice layout and lighting in room. Bed is ok but can be better. No foc room cleaning below 7 days. With microwave and kettle for needed heating of food and water. Price wise, consider abit expensive..

The Sorell Zurichberg is a quiet hotel that appears to cater mainly to business meetings. For that reason it is surprising that it's internet is sketchy and even Swisscom connections sometimes fail, apparently because it's situated halfway up Zurïchberg. The rooms are well appointed and I had one of the largest rooms with a view of the Swiss Alps and Lake Zurich. The view of the Swiss Alps is one of the most beautiful, but because of the small windows (see one of the pictures attached) most rooms don't have this view in its full glory. The area around the hotel is beautiful for walking. There's a woods nearby but even walking along the streets, wish I generally well lit, is relaxing. There's a sports center nearby with tennis and other activities. The zoo is a 5-minute walk away as is the cemetery where the Irish author James Joyce is buried along with some other celebrities. Bathroom is a good size with a bathtub and a rainfall shower or spray. There was a Nespresso coffee machine in the room and a fridge with a basic selection of for-pay snacks. The bed is comfortable and you have a selection of pillows, which you can ask for from reception. There's ample closet space with a small safe for valuables. I was also a shoehorn and the bag for laundry, which as is the case in many hotels is very expensive if you have them do it for you. A restaurant is a bit disappointing. The breakfast is good and varied, but other meals served in the restaurant are just above a fast food level. The vegetable couscous served in the bar was disappointing. This hotel is a quiet respite from the noise and business of downtown Zurich, but it has some kinks that need to be worked for it to live up to its four-star rating. Guests should be aware that they are very much outside the center of Zurich, about a half hour by tram. The number 6 tram however runs quite frequently.

A great boutique hotel in old town Zurich. 6 minute walk from Zurich HB train station after our flight into Zurich. Front desk staff Sam was extremely helpful and very polite, spoke English very well. Very clean hotel completely updated and this location is AAA for restaurants and bars, and is also quiet for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was ample to start our day. Coffee was great and a good selection of meats, cheeses, cereal and juice. The chocolate fondue machine at the entrance was really neat!

I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Zurich. The location is great, staff is most accomocating, there is AC, mini fridge, and coffee/tea facilities. I loved the cold water, OJ, and coffee in the reception area. Rooms a quiet; you don't hear street noise. I used to stay across from the train station, but rooms were not wuietThe hotel was recently remodeled.There is a great produce market across the street.
