Hotel 3 Bintang di Zweisimmen

This place was wonderful other than the gondola. We had plans to take our travel pass and train over to several cities to visit while using Rinderburg Hotel as the homebase…..this unfortunately caused a lot of issues because I was not aware that the gondala would not start until 9am, and shuts down at 4:30. So if we left early in the morning, we HAD to walk down….which is not terrible, but IF you missed the 4:30 pm close time….that is a 2+ hr walk UPHILL, as there were very few taxis that would take you up. The restaurant food was ok, but very expensive (as was many things in Switzerland). Overall, the location and views are absolutely stunning! The gondala situation (which costs Cf4 per person with travel pass).

To avoid stairs, the access of the neighbouring house can be used. The apartment was well equipped. The only thing that would have been desirable was that the coffee machine had a defect and no capsules or an alternative solution was offered (e.g. kettle with coffee powder).

A cozy, very well furnished apartment. Centrally located for excursions in all directions.

A very lovingly furnished house in a picturesque setting. Fully met my expectations and I was able to switch off very well and enjoy the quiet time (also thanks to the great location on the edge of the village). Will be happy to come back :)
