On a sunny Sunday afternoon in November, the sun gently penetrated the clouds and shone on the road lined with swaying coconut trees, as if nature had painted a warm background for this journey. I drove a rental car from the airport and slowly departed from the bustling Sanya city center, like a leisurely traveler, along the winding road, heading towards the distant Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County. As the wheels rolled, the scenery along the way unfolded like a series of moving paintings. The green mountains, like the backbone of the earth, appeared more vibrant under the sunlight. The streams in the mountains were clear and pure, like the purest music of nature, adding a touch of vitality and poetry to the journey. As the car gradually entered the Li and Miao Autonomous County, the rich ethnic customs became more distinct, as if the air was filled with a unique cultural atmosphere. Upon arriving in Baoting, I couldn't wait to jump out of the car and set foot on this mysterious and charming land. Walking through the ancient and peaceful villages, I felt as if I had traveled back to ancient times, experiencing the simple and primitive lifestyle. The buildings in the villages were quaint, with bamboo and wood as the skeleton and green tiles as the clothing. Every stone slab and beam seemed to tell the story of the vicissitudes of time and the wisdom of the people. This spontaneous and pleasant journey not only allowed me to appreciate the natural scenery and ethnic customs of Baoting but also provided a peaceful and relaxing haven in my busy life.
