One of the most noteworthy visits to make in China, is to enter The Forbidden City. Walk where Emperors once roamed thousands of years ago and be amazed at the architecture within the city. I’ve always wanted to see the city once I realized it was the inspiration behind the city of Ba Sing Se in my fave cartoon. When touring the vast grounds, ensure you wear comfortable shoes, bring your sunglasses 🕶️ and have sunscreen lathered on. There are vending machines around to get beverages and you can pop in the gift shop to get mementos from your visit there. One of the buildings in the forbidden city I was told, was built just by sticking the logs together like legos.
