Touch the noses, feel lucky!

it is said to bring you luck! One of the charming highlights of my trip to Riga was discovering the Bremen Town Musicians statue near St. Peter's Church. Inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, this whimsical bronze sculpture depicts a donkey, dog, cat, and rooster standing on each other's backs. According to local legend, touching the donkey's nose brings good luck. The statue’s polished nose, gleaming from countless touches, shows its popularity among visitors. of course, I joined the tradition, hoping for a bit of luck myself. This quirky statue adds a delightful touch of magic to Riga, blending folklore with the city’s rich cultural tapestry.
