Everyone would think Chinatown to be old and dirty or a place where only old people visits or heads down to buy things. Rarely, anyone would think Chinatown as fabulous or even colourful but I beg to differ. Chinatown in Singapore is so rich in culture and every corner is a surprise. The chinatown complex in Singapore consists of a market at the basement, shopping stores at the first floor, and a food center at the second floor. Shops on the first floor, sells many nice colourful apparels. One can buy the traditional cheong sums, which shows off your womanly figure. There are also shops selling traditional Chinese figurines and art and crafts. Even the walls of the complex are so beautiful as there are wall murals for you to appreciate.
