Chengdu's version of Kyoto's Kamo River! A place to cool off, play in the water, and even pick up fossils

Recently, the weather has been too hot🥵! Last Saturday, I went to Dayi with my sister, picked some fossils, soaked in a hot spring, and just by casually posting about it, many people asked! Where is this? Fortunately, I'm sharing it with everyone today! Additionally, I've prepared a little something for my fans who have been supporting me for a long time. This place, which is very much like Kyoto's Kamo River, is the river beach in Huashuiwan Town, Dayi County, Chengdu (just go down the river from the path next to Quanzhongshan Villa, and keep heading ⬅️ down the river to find lots of fossils). It's like Kamo River but with the added fun of fossil hunting! The water is shallow and clear, and it's a favorite spot for locals in the summer. If you get tired, you can also go to the nearby Huashuiwan Haosheng Hot Spring♨️. There were few people when we went because it was raining, which made it very pleasant. I recommend going on a rainy day for a more comfortable experience, as it can get crowded when the weather is too nice. For dining, I recommend the Qiankunyuan home-style dishes in Huashuiwan Town, which tastes good👍. We've had some less than stellar experiences at other places, but in the end, we felt that this restaurant had both good taste and portions.
