Qinghai Lake South Mountain Viewing Platform ~ The most beautiful, farthest, and highest distance to check in at Qinghai Lake 🌟Highlights: Checking in at Qinghai Lake from the South Mountain Viewing Platform is truly beautiful. The endless Qinghai Lake, paired with good weather, is really very comfortable. 🕙Business Hours: Open all year round. 💰Tickets: When I went there around 7 PM, it was almost sunset, and I didn't see anyone charging fees. I guess it's a free attraction. 🚉Transportation Guide: 1. Driving up the mountain, it's all winding roads, so be careful. But for experienced drivers, it's no problem, haha. 2. It's not far if you navigate from the bottom of the mountain, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get there. 3. Once you reach the check-in spot, just find a good place to park your car, but be mindful of the traffic. 👍Highly Recommended: It's recommended to come around sunset. It gets dark later in Qinghai, around late July it gets dark at about 8:30 PM, so coming around 7:30 PM is just right, not too sunny. 📝Tips: 1. Pay attention to the navigation location. I navigated to the destination and found it was closed and no parking was allowed, so I had to drive further up for about 10 minutes to reach a place where many people were parking by the roadside. 2. Bring sunglasses, capes, and other photo props, and also bring a jacket as it can be quite windy on the mountain. 3. Pay attention to traffic safety. 4. If you are prone to altitude sickness, bring oxygen, otherwise, you might feel dizzy, haha.
